A clean California Mustang assembled in San Jose up for your consideration. A nice solid chassis and straight body. The car is driven fairly regularly, all electronics and gauges are working and the interior is complete. The 200 is not a race car engine and it's slow zero to 5 but it's pretty quick once you're past that. But it is a work horse of an engine and this one has already been rebuilt. If you live in Southern California you can definitely drive this one home. I've owned a couple of these with 351's and I can tell you that the car is going to pitch around the turns if you drop a bigger one in so I wouldn't recommend anything over a 289. New radiator. The Cragar rims are not original but the tires are fairly new and the car handles the curves quite well. The paint is over 2 years old and still looks great. Underneath is in overall pretty good shape. There is going to be some slight surface rust here and there. The muffler pipes are in fact rusty. I only mention that in case I run into fussy buyer types. Things I haven't gotten around to: The turn signal doesn't always cancel when turning left. There are two spots where the paint has popped a bit. (See last 2 photos) Behind the passenger side back seat window and lower/front corner of the passenger side door. There is a slow drip and the oil pan gasket probably needs to be replaced. I just can't get under there any more. There is a black stain on the carpet on the passenger and where your feet would rest. I am including a car cover with this 66 and a spec book. I will also look around and see if i have some original 66 hubcaps and if I do I will throw them in. There is an Alpine stereo/CD player unit that is included with the sale. It is on the floor and slides right out if you decide to pull it. There is also an in dash Mustang radio/cassette player but I don't believe it was available in 66 so it may not be original. (I just checked the specs and the 8 track was available, but not the cassette) I am happy to answer any questions you may so please feel free to ask.

This car is mechanically sound, no leaks, and pretty much has been a weekend driver its entire life. I am the third owner of this vehicle, and the most recent owner was 63 years old. This car has had a cold air intake installed , pulley swap, and kooks headers, with corsa extreme mufflers installed by Livernois motorsports. I myself had the suspension upgraded with Jack Roush springs and koni adjustable shocks in the front, and a full BMR suspension upgrade in the rear. All polyurethane/greaseable, Upper/lower controls arms, panard bar, differential stabilizer, springs, and steeda adjustable shocks gave the car what it needed to eliminate all wheel hop, and ultimately help in outstanding ways with traction when it comes to dealing with these cars and the power they have. The clutch was also upgraded to a McLeod stage 3 that is capable handling 850 ft lbs of torque. The car puts down 580 hp to the rear wheels, and if you know numbers with these cars, that is about 647 hp at the crank with the 16% loss they have from the crank to the ground. Stereo system was upgraded with pioneer equipment, pioneer speakers throughout. The base system with the shaker 500 was okay, but definitely not up to par. I also possess all the stock suspension parts if someone wants to change the car back to stock suspension wise. I still have the stock wheels also, so anyone who gets this car will have two sets of wheels and tires. The motegi racing wheels are 19 inch compared to the 18 inch stock wheels, but they are lighter. I run the 19 inch wheels most of the time with mickey Thompson e.t. street radials for looks, and traction. All in all, I have $15,000 in upgrades on this car and have every receipt. The car is always garage kept, and never driven in the rain. I am looking to get a Z06 Corvette and anyone who gets this car won't have to deal with traction/suspension issues that all these cars have. Her name is LL, which stands for lessons learned and there is always a story behind a name like that. This car will make anyone who is a muscle car/super car American made person say something, and gets compliments almost everywhere we journey. This car also has plenty of room performance wise for the blower to be changed and build more power, which will ultimately put it in the SUPERSNAKE RANKINGS once someone decided to do it.
