1953 Ford F-100 Short Bed Pick-Up This auction is for a 1953 Ford F-100 short bed pick-up, My father and I built this truck from scratch, It starts great, runs great, drives great and sounds even better. It has a completely rebuilt from scratch 302 motor, F-150 5-speed manual transmission, balanced 1- Piece F-150 drive shaft and stock F-100 rear-end. Power disc brakes in front and drums in back, Power cowl vent, Power steering, CD player, Adjustable Gabriel Air-Ride shocks Front and Back, All new dash gauges and everything on this truck works 100% Original Matching Cab, Doors, Fenders, Hood, Dash, Grill, Bumpers, Running Boards and Bed from 1953. This truck has original Ford VIN numbers and is tagged here in Ga. The only reason we are selling this truck is, now my father wants to build a classic mustang. Note: Truck cranks right up, runs and drives but will need some work. Radiator does not hold water, (have new Radiator), and passenger side window is cracked, (have new window), front bumper and light bezel is bent a little & there's a dent behind the driver's door. Georgia was a non-title state before 1985. You will receive appropriate documents for this vehicle. A Georgia certified bill of sale from our company, and a certified Georgia registration. This beautiful Truck came to our store as a local Trade-in, it is very much original with the exception of some older paint work and a steel bed which has been added a few years ago, it has a good original serial #, Engine and Transmission are in good condition, it runs and drives, straight body except for a few dings, no rust but it does have some surface rust, it is sold miles exempt. the engine does not smoke or rattle, body is in decent shape. Tires have good thread left on them. Interior is in good shape. This truck has been lovingly treated all of its life, it looks and feels like a fun vehicle, great opportunity to own a great example of the Ford Truck.
