Overview: I have owned this car for a little over 15 years. She has been garaged kept her entire life, the condition speaks for itself. This car has had every major manufactures flaw fixed or upgraded to support 600+ HP. You will not find any other Stealth or 3000GT VR4 that has been better taken care of than this one. Even if you bought a time machine VR4 that had sat in bubble for 25 years you will still have to spend 10K on maintenance and upgrades because something will break. These cars are a lot of fun featuring AWD, and all wheel steering, turns heads everywhere I go. If you are considering one of these cars here is good reason to consider mine. Its a first year 1991 that has had all first gen flaws fixed and replaced with 3rd gen or better aftermarket parts. There are a lot of random issues most people don't know about these cars. For example the capacitors used in the ECU from the factory are junk. Even if the car sits in a bubble the capacitors will eventually leak all over the motherboard. As you can see from my list of modifications I have addressed / fixed / upgraded al the major problem areas that can spring up on these cars. If you are interested in one of these vehicles and you actually want to drive it hard and be faster than 95% of what's on the road today look no further. Car has current valid inspection to mid 2016. Currently the car is setup to run between 12.5 and 15PSI of boost, which can be controlled from the digital controller in the car on the fly. 0 Turbo lag 0-60 4 seconds flat. Estimated easy 420+ HP. Everything, I mean everything on the car works, not a single check engine light or warning code. I did disable the clutch sensor so that the car can be started without pushing in the clutch, I removed the sensor, new owner can put back on if desired. Even the AC blows colder air than my VW Passat. I am selling this car because I am out of room in the garage and I am looking to buy a piece of high end vintage Mopar. This car is now considered a classic and most states consider 25 year old cars to be Historic. In my home state of NJ this car will have Historic status in just 4 more months. This means no more inspection or dealing with the man, making this car an awesome platform for making extreme street legal horsepower. Rear bumper small paint chips by left marker light, small blemish bottom right corner. 3rd Gear does not like to be shifted like you stole it. If your cruising no problems, If your beating on it and shifting at 6K you are better off double clutching into 3rd. Root cause for this is slightly worn 3rd gear syncro ring. Cheap part to replace if you are technical, can be pricey unless you have a good fair mechanic. Car pulls hard and shifts strong, I can double clutch 3rd and still shift faster and smoke 90% of what's on the road today. Just a few minor rock chips here and there, not really noticeable. Leather looks great for its age, driver seat just starting to wear through in 2 small spots about the size of a dime. I can say I have seen plenty of 5 year old cars that do not look close to as nice as this fine almost classic specimen of what I think is one of the nicest cars ever built. That being said , I am in no rush to sell this gorgeous vehicle. This car is very fast and well maintained , It recently had the front brakes replaced with cross drilled and slotted rotors , new interior and also new leather custom seats !! Upgraded Wheels with Tires , new clutch and much much more .Vehicle is also equipped with updated sound speakers - lower neon lights , and flip down dvd player / screen !! 1991 Dodge Stealth RT RED NEEDS CAM work DOHC Has Been sitting READ DESCRIPTION! This car was given to me by a friend who has moved overseas and is not coming back he has given me power of attorney and I can have the title notarized and sell it to you will need to have it towed it doesnt run as is and has been sitting for over a year I drove it for months and months trying to sell it for the price he wanted over 2k for it the transmission and everything worked just fine while I was driving it when it lost power one day and stopped running it cranked a few more times and ran until i could get it to a safe spot then wouldnt crank anymore. i have since spent hundreds and hundreds on it for storage and towing and to have a backyard mechanic try to fix it he saw me as a bank account and tried to fix a lot of small things before he told me that it just needed cam work and was bleeding me dry and charging me for storage. So i took the car back and it has been sitting ever since I need to sell it as to just trying to get what I have spent on it back. I am tired of dealing with no shows and have sold this car twice already and then get called saying I have no money. If you dont have money dont bid on this car! Local Pick up as we will have to have the title notarized. We could use UShip to get a quote on lowest priced towing to your home but you (the Buyer) with valid ID must meet me at a local notary so we can complete the transaction legally as I have power of attorney. No exceptions summer is coming and if you are a mechanic or know one that will work on this you can have a sweet ride for the summer. For what I am asking you could flip this car and make a nice profit or part it out and do the same.
