I bought this from one of my neighbors who had purchased it for their 16 yr old daughter (who REFUSED to drive it).. they purchased it in May of 2015, and shortly after it started having issues..I had a friend try and look at it (not mechanically inclined) so we are still at a loss..car has not been actually driven anywhere since I bought it, except to move it from their house to mine, and then from the street to my driveway, and then from the driveway to the back alley. Engine is rattling/knocking/something..overheating maybe.maybe it just needs to be flushed out? .I DO NOT KNOW WHATS WRONG with it! might need a new motor..might need a new head gasket or tranny...motor is a 2.7, and is in need of repair, or you can part it out.. has ALOT of good parts!..Has working Remote Start, car does start and Run, BUT I don't know how far you would get!! motor is clean.. inside is clean.. no staining of holes on seat..I do not know if the previous owner was a smoker, as I cannot smell smoke in the car, and usually I have a VERY sensitive nose to this.. some rust in places (see pics), but nothing rusted through..clear coat on trunk, and top is pealing (see pics).. 171105 Miles on it.. I am a single parent of 6, and just DO NOT have the funds nor the time to get it looked at or repaired!.CLEAN title!! Located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin..MUST PICK UP! It won't drive far. 2003 Dodge intrepid. Runs good. Tight exhaust, very powerful 3.5 liter 260 horse power motor. This is a 24 valve motor. Tires are at least 40%. The leather seats in front have some cracking, the rear are like new. The a/c is cold. The transmission shifts normal. The brakes are good, 50% or so. The battery is brand new, the wipers are new. There are no service lights on. Problems: The digital climate control lcd back light is burned out (or a fuse) but the climate control operates as it should ( you just cannot see the temp it is set to). There possibly is a cd stuck in the cd changer (the 6 cd lights flash). The radio operates as should. There is a dent in the rear right back bumper, also a dent in the drivers side door (see pics) There was paint spilled in the trunk. This was my wife's car for 6 years then my daughters car for 5 years. We were the second owners. The engine long block was replaced by our dealer at 35,000 miles. This motor only has about 65,000 miles on it. I am selling it to make room in my driveway. This is probably the best car for the price. The roof has a little clear coat issue, but not bad. Pros: new throttle body and position sensor, Idle air control, all 6 pistons and rings are new, oil and water pump new, both upper tensioners, and lower primary, timing chains and both cam chains, long and short guide rails, crank sprocket, both cam sprockets, and entire engine gasket sets some steel, mopar fuel injectors(used) and O rings, has a 01 sebring left head which was used and had 121k miles on it, replaced alternator with one from a 00 with 90k miles new:used" radiator fan. Cons: power steering pump is just starting to act funny, clear coat is starting to peel as seen in pictures. Misc: have a box of little extra things that can go with it random sensors, injectors extra throttle body. Conclusion: body is amazing, and motor seems to be flawless and runs fantastic, any further info just let me know.
