Do avoid this clown like the plague Up for sale is my wonderful Dodge 2500 Conversion Van. I just bought it and I believe I'm the 3rdowner of it. I'm selling it as I need a 109" wheelbase conversion van and this one is the 127"wheelbase. Other than that- it's super but a little large for my needs. I do not need the raised roofIt will fit (just barely) into my residential l garage.This feature is a real biggie as you do not have to pay a storage monthly fees to store it somewhere else. I bought it to use it for Bucs and Gator games for myself and a neighborhood couple for tailgatingat those games. It's ideal as if you're not taller than 5'9" tall- you can stand up fully. I'm 5' 11" so I have to bend some. If you're 5' 9" tall you can stand up and walk around in it. I bring all this up isfor seating modifications I have made. The previous owner took out (and threw away) one of themiddle custom captains chairs. I removed (but still have) the twin seat to it. It's in great conditioneasily re-installed if you need it. The bed (sofa) in the rear makes out into a full size bed (tri fold) and itoperated electrically perfectly. With the two front captains chairs and a couch that comfortably will seat 3people (the couch)- I didn't need the middle captains chairs for my use so I opened up the space for additionalspace and storage. One thing I almost forgot (and didn't remember to picture) is the TV set (works great) and the tapeplayer (I haven't used it yet). It's sitting up high in the raised roof area. I'll send a picture if needed. I've earlier listed all the power and standard equipment but do need to discuss the outer body condition It's super and was repainted at some time ( Ido not know when) in the past by one of the previous owners.It looks great but could use some touch up around the windows to make it look really pristine. When I got it a few months ago- the fiberglass raised roof was peeling and looked unsightly. I took it to a shop and they justrepainted and sanded it down to make it look almost new. It also has a great spare and new tires with about200 miles on them.I would not hesitate to start up this van and drive it across the USA. If you buy this van (and you live in another area) you should come here and pick it up to drive home. You shouldn't hire a drive service (and their fees) to bring it to you. This V8 engine has 130,500 miles of use on it. That's low mileagefor an automotive vehicle of this age. It runs very strong. Now- the a/c's. In Fla. you must have great a/c for this heat. Both the previous owner and myself had the vanchacked out at our shops and the a/c (and everything else) checked out super. The transmission was completely rebuilt by the previous owner. Rotors, brake pads and shoes are all new.Water pump and all hoses thermostat are brand new, Rear end was serviced and seals were all replaced. The radio is a biggie- The previous owner had a new 200 watt JVC CD player and radio installed. The only problem is the fuel gauge. It works some of the tim. That didn't bother me as I never went far in itand always filled the tank. That's some things I would have eventually fixed though. That's about all I know about this super conversion van. This Van also has Heightened Side Entry Doors to facilitate the safe loading of passengers and drivers/care-givers. High end Sherrod Conversion has comfortable two-tone leather captain's chairs in front, soft two-tone leather rear bench seating for additional passengers, padded carpeting and floor wheelchair tie-downs with straps to secure your loved one in the mid position behind driver with excellent views forward and out of the large side window. Great for medical appointments and Sunday drives! The vehicle is very, very clean inside and out. Hunter Green metallic exterior with gold stripes is a striking combination with the tan and brown interior with wood trimmed storage bins. The exterior is in great condition with only a few minor blemishes and superficial scratches. Interior is in very nice shape as well, with only the bumps and scuffs expected from use with a wheelchair, lift, etc. Features include power driver's seat, several interior lighting options, 12V/20A power outlet, drink holders throughout, tilt steering, cruise control, power windows and locks, ABS brakes, dual airbags in front, tinted privacy glass and pull down shades for the 3 oversized windows in back. Cold A/C and powerful heat that will keep you comfortable. The Braun Vangater side-load lift is rated for 600 LBS and operates smoothly with onboard and remote operator controls. All mechanicals are in excellent working condition and, powered by a strong running Magnum V6 engine, the van drives beautifully. The Van has been fully dealer serviced within the last 3.5K miles including full tune-up with coil, cap, rotor, wires and plugs; the braking system was also fully serviced and all ABS sensors have been replaced new. The Van was detailed complete with carpet cleaning approximately two months ago, and the oil was changed with a multi-point inspection last month. Original chrome rims are mounted with Goodyear Wrangler ArmorTrac tires driven just less than 2K miles since new last November (the all season tires pictured in the lead photos are bagged and stored and will be provided to successful buyer if they desire). Selling our 2002 Dodge Ram Conversion Van by LA West. We bough the van earlier this year for Camping and exploring the north east, we made it to Cape Cod and Maine :) Unfortunately we're moving over seas to be with my wife's family and need to sell this before we go. It has 108k miles, we bought it with around 103k. We also had our great mechanic at Urban Classic's run through the whole vehicle and updated the following; - Brand News Tires (4) - Brand New Muffler - Brand New Bearings - Brand New Drag Link - Alignment - All filters and fluids changed - Comes with Original Key, Remote Alarm and Manual. Also has tow hitch, spare tire and a jack. The Van runs amazingly, especially after being all tuned up and updated, with new suspension and tires. The motor and transmission are in great condition and have been maintained regularly. V8 Engine is strong, great for towing with included hitch and mount. There are some scratches in the paint, and some cosmetic rust. Certain parts have been remedied by an auto body, solid frame. Its great for camping with the back seat that folds down and four captains chairs. The middle two chairs can be easily removed, great for extra storage or space. I can include a 2inch memory foam topper that fits well on the fold down bed. (Queen Size, One picture shows the bed setup by my wife) As well as reflector insulation for the windows, helps keep the van cool in the summer and blacks out the windows. (Last Picture) It also has the original TV and VCR, as well as a power inverter to plug in items. Its a great van/adventure mobile, with an amazingly clean interior and great drive all around. Replaced radiator, thermostat, alternator, battery, all belts Rebuilt AC including new compressor Brand new tires (wheel alignment just done) replaced the Plenum Gaskets and all vapor lines on the top of the motor, all brake pads with OEM pads Removed and turned all 4 rotors. Rebuilt all calipers. Replaced the rack and pinion with the Dodge Rack, compliance bushings Replaced plug wires with thicker silicone wires much better performance than the old thin ones Replaced spark plugs with NGK OEM plugs. Removed and replaced all fluids including the differential, Transmission, Radiator. Rebuilt all wheel bearings and repacked with the appropriate lubricant.
