This listing is for a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger with 35,003 Original Miles. This Mopar is in great condition inside and out. The original Slant 6cyl has been recently upgraded to a 318 V-8 with 2bbl carb, automatic transmission, new alternator, new tires and brand new exhaust from front to back with new mufflers. The car sounds just as good as it drives. The interior of this car is in great condition with no stains or tears in the seats, carpet, or headliner. All the gauges work. All the interior and exterior lights work. Still has the original radio and it does work. There are a few cracks in dash as shown in picture above. The owners manual is in the glove box along with a few yearly inspection receipts from the original owner with the most recent dating back to 1996 showing the car to have 22k miles at that time. I am not sure if the rear spoiler is a factory installed option or not but it looks good on the car. I had some bleach turn over in the trunk resulting in me pulling the trunk carpet and throwing it away so the trunk does need new carpet. It will also need a hood hinge on the drivers side. There are a few rust bubbles underneath the paint on the rear quarter by the wheel lip on both sides but for the most part it has very little rust so it wouldn't take much work at all to make this car show quality. 71 Dart Swinger 2 DR hard top plum crazy with a 5/69 casted 340. Hi- po manifolds,A/C not working but all components are there, pwr steering, pwr drum brakes, purple LED lit stereo/CD/USB with remote. Bench seat with headrests, interior in great shape. This is a great driver with new plugs,cap,rotor,8mm wires, shocks,rear u-joint, tranny service,reared service,rebuilt edelbrock 600 carb, tank sending unit, and fuel pump. It has its original 904 and 7.25 rear 2.76 gears. Tires in great shape. Go-wing, transverse stripe, chin spoiler and dual hood scoop. All gauges work except factory temp but does have working aftermarket gauges and tach. New quarter window regulator bushings. There is a slight crease in driver quarter panel. Probably can be massaged with a good PDR tech. There are a few bubbles in paint and minor rust spots as this car came from Hawaii but very solid otherwise. Sounds like a high lift cam with nice lope at idle. Runs and drives great. Could use new front end bushings and a disc brake conversion would be nice also. This is a Classic '74 Dodge Dart Swinger Green 2 Door Coupe Muscle Car. The car has a 318 V8 engine with automatic transmission. It's interior is all green with wood trim. The car comes with new tires and many other new parts. The car runs and drives strong but still needs some body, interior and mechanical work done to it. The door floor & rear quarter panels are rusted out. The front right fender of the car was replace but still lines up nice. The front seat will need new upholstery & springs. The left side of the front seat sinks in because the springs are broke. The car did pass inspection and is registered in Delaware until 2017. 1972 dodge dart swinger, 318, 904 automatic, all original drivetrain. I added a 500cfm Eidelbrock intake, dual exhaust with black cherry bomb shorty glasspacks, new plugs and wires, front spoiler, air shocks, and some older cragar SS's that are a bit rusty. Just replaced the front wheel bearings and new rear brake hardware. She runs, stops and turns tight. Surface rust on the front valance above the spoiler, a spot on the front hood and a bit on the rear wheel well as pictured. Trunk and floor pans are rock solid with no rust. Interior is good, headliner door panels and dash are in great shape, some tears in the front bench as pictured. Has the new for 1972 split bench arm rest. Power steering, manual brakes, vinyl top in excellent condition. I'm the third owner, when I bought her I received a small notebook with every oil change, zirc lube and mechanical repair ever done on her. I installed a manual choke and the 318 purrs. I really hate to sell it but I live in an apartment now and can't put it through another Seattle winter outside.

1972 Dodge Dart Swinger PROJECT car This car is a nice solid car to build off of. The car is not complete. It has no engine or trans. No wiring other than dash harness. The roof has been re skinned with a good solid donor roof skin. Only the skin was replaced and spot welded back on and the rain gutters resealed. The spare tire well was replaced with a reproduction part and welded in, primed and undercoated. The floors are solid. The trunk floor has some pitting and was cleaned and treated with POR15 and then primed. The drivers door is off a donor car and has had some previous repairs but I think it is a usable door. All the panels you see in the pics that are gold, is the original paint that has been lightly sanded The body needs body work. It is not straight, it has its dents and dings. The dash has been cleaned up and repainted. The dash harness is present. Not sure of the gauge operation. The dash pad has been repair and cover but will probably need replace. This car was frame up restored 18 months ago front end was totally replaced with new ball joints and all that goes with it the car was never hit to my knowledge and is straight. shocks included Air shocks in rear. disc brakes and in its original color, it comes with its original matching numbers engine with a 474 cam the engine was rebuilt .30 over and runs great.strong and reliable with approx.4500 on engine. Radiator is recored 2 core the car runs cool always I have taken this car on rides 400 miles each way to the carolinas without problem and would do it again any day. The car also came with a 4 speed transmission. Although this car did come from the factory with a 4 speed A833 trans this is not the original but, in its place is a date code correct 4 speed A833, The rear is 8 3/4 heavy duty 3:23 suregrip which came with the car from the factory.It comes with the original factory rallye dash which can use replacing as the chrome on it was painted black , I have a new rallye dash that goes with the car if interested. The interior is freshly custom done with a beautiful orange stitching.headliner is new. everything works except for the radio and speedo cable. the passenger side mirror has to be moved back 3/4" it is super clean under body with no rust or rot. there really is to much to list with this rare original 4speed 340 swinger. the fender tag tells it all. please feel free to ask questions.
