New complete TTI 2 1/2" system out the back. Sadly, I do not possess the original exhaust manifolds. They went where they belonged in 1969 - the dumpster.Fuel System: New Carter street/strip pump, new fuel tank and sender. New stainless 3/8" fuel line, heat wrapped near headers. New reproduction fuel filter and carb line. Brand new Edelbrock 750cfm carb on motor, rebuilt dated/correct Carter AVS in trunk. New Mancini correct repop air cleaner, pie tin, breather, NOS pcv valve, grommet, etc..Electrical/Ignition: Mopar electronic distributor, rebuilt & locked-out. New Mopar chrome box. New mini starter. New battery, new positive cable. New Evans engine wiring harness. New MSD plug wires. New alternator, relays, regulators, resistor, etc.Cooling: Correct, original-to-the car 065 radiator, beautifully rebuilt with correct bucket and new core. New water pump, thermostat, cap, new fan clutch. New correct reproduction upper rad hose, correct original lower, 7-blade fan, etc..Transmission: Fresh 727 with 10" converter. All new drive shaft & slip yoke w/ solid 7290s. Brand new transmission lines. Correct speedo gear installed w/ new speedo cable. Factory-appearing kick down linkage. New shifter bushings.Rear axle: All-fresh 8 3/4" Rear End, rebuilt center w/ new 3:55s, 489 case, factory sure-grip, new green bearings, gaskets, lube, etc.Suspension/Brakes: Brakes are 95% brand-new parts - new pads, shoes, cylinders, drums, ALL lines, hoses, seals, and master cylinder. Converted to factory K-H front disks. Front rotors are not new, they are factory rotors re-drilled for 5 on 4 1/2" pattern. New KYB shocks. New lower ball joints.Wheels/Tires: Brand new 6.40 x 15" Firestones on new ET 15x4" straight-spoke American magnesium copies up front, and brand new G70-15 Goodyear Polyglas Redlines on custom-made 15x6" chrome reverse wheels out back.Interior: New Legendary seat covers front and rear. New ACC carpet. New trunk divider, jute, package tray, rear armrest bases. Everything else inside is 100% original and very presentable - headliner, door panels, steering wheel, console, dashboard... including class winner plaques on dash.Body / Appearance: The engine compartment was stripped to bare metal. Fender-well header holes were patched, all incorrect holes filled, then body worked and painted to match exterior. Another factory GTS hood located, body worked and painted black; I still have the original hood but it has a "shaker" cutout in it as it was run in 1970. Complete firewall gasket kit installed. The wheel wells had been widened (not tubbed, but stretched) by the original owner.. This work was undone - the wheel houses sliced and returned to stock width. The quarters are not perfectly straight as a result of this work and would need to be body worked to be perfect. But they are certainly authentic to the time period. Wheel lips cut and rolled also, and decklid extensively lightened.Other: No heater; delete plates are riveted in place just like they were in '69. Original exhaust tips are included but not installed. New trunk mat. New Year-One 440 hood callouts. New hood weatherstrip @ rear. Bessy is a restored survivor, 1965 Dodge Dart 4 door 270 powered by a rare original 273 V8 powerplant with less than 70K original miles on her. Painstakingly brought back to showroom condition over the course of the past year, there have been so many parts replaced or restored it’s hard to list them all, but see details below. Most restored Darts from this era are the 2-door muscle car version, and those are easy to find. This car is one of a kind find, turns heads everywhere it goes, and gets multiple offers driving around town. This car is not for those who are shy or dislike attention. A true enthusiast's machine, Bessy will provide it’s owner with many more years of faithful service, in true class and with sleeper car power. I’m the second owner of this classic head turner. I bought from my colleague after he decided to clear out his garage to make room for new toys. She had sat in the garage since the late 80s, when she was taken out of service where she waited for a little over 30 years under a car cover and stacks of magazines. I partnered with Precision Auto Center in Bay Ridge, New York to bring this classic barn find back from obscurity. With over $20k dollars is labor, OEM parts and a few safety and performance upgrades, this vehicle drives and handles even better than when it rolled off the showroom floor back in 1966 as a dealer car. All the chrome was in decent condition, so while there are many many upgrades, we kept the restoration to a slight wabi-sabi or survivor condition. Some wear shows on the dashboard, chrome, etc. But as of just this year, she is finished and ready for her new home. I want to stress that this is a drive ready, turn key car. Nothing drips, leaks or god forbid smokes. She runs off of regular unleaded fuel, handles like a dream on the highway or in the city.
