Let me start by saying that I am selling this for a buddy that is in his late 60's. He bought this car about 6 months ago, and decided to go a different direction. The car is going to the Pomona Swap Meet this Sunday, that is why I am doing a 5 day auction. The following is what I have seen with the car and what he told me. The car is a true survivor, with 66,383 original miles. It is a rare combination car with the hideaway headlights, the bench seat, and the column shift. He is not sure if the paint is original or a re-paint. I would day the paint, for such an old car, is about an 7 or 8 in my uneducated opinion. The paint has a few small issues, but nothing that can't be fixed. The upper left fender has a few spots where it looks someone spilled some sort of fluid or sat a battery. The color code for the exterior is Y4 Gold. The front bumper is brand new. The rest of the stainless and chrome is good. The rear trim, and the trim around the wheel wells could use a little attention. The only rust I can find on the car is right in front of the wheel well on the rear left or driver side fender. I was told by the owner it is a numbers matching car.The engine is the 383 Magnum V-8, but has had the OEM intake replaced with an Edelbrock intack as well as an Edelbrock Carburetor. The car has been sitting for a while, so I would say the car needs a tuneup for sure. It starts right up, but does need either a timing check or new plugs and wires. The carb also has a small leak at the from on the screw, which I believe is where the linkage is attached. I would say this is because it hasn't been driven. Worst case it needs a new carb.If you are looking for a driver, or a car to take out on weekends then this is the car. It isn't perfect, but is in pretty good condition for its age.The car needs a radio repair and the air conditioning is there but needs a re-charge for sure. The windows are hand roll up. The front hideaway headlight doors work. The dash has two cracks that were repaired a while back for sure. The seats, carpet and headliner are in good condition. The car needs to be picked up within 3 days of auction's end. This is a cash only deal, with a deposit of $500 via Paypal. No cashiers checks, period. I will not deliver or drive the car anywhere. the car is located in Upland, California, 91786.

1966 Dodge Charge with 440 6pak One hot older charger. I have owned this charger since 2002 and it has been a kick. I love 66 or 67 chargers because of the room and styling. I have owned 6 since 1967 and this is the one I have enjoyed the most. It had a low throated sound which is great while idling or running on the streets. I bought this car with the 440 six pack in it and even though the original car was a 383 4 barrel, I would never go back after driving this car. This car has not spent a night outside since I bought it in 2002. The paint is just as good as it was when I bought it. the car has the following: Newly refinished chrome dash New alarm system New concealed stereo system. system is under the seat and controlled with a wired controller in the console. There are 4 speakers hidden in the door panels and there are 2 base speakers and amps in the trunk.. Custom made 17" magnum 500 wheels. Flowmaster exhaust system. Medium tinted windows Air shocks in the rear only Unfortunately, the building that I have leased for 15 years (storage for my cars) has been sold and I have to move. Finding just the right space for my business and my cars is difficult. I have not driven the car much for about 2 years and since my arthritis has become more intense, it is more difficult to enjoy the car. If I had did not have to move, I would never sell this car. More pictures are available @ http://s1190.photobucket.com/user/crh-arch/slideshow/?sort=2 Buyer pays all shipping fees, taxes, licenses, and other governmental fees. Payment for this car will be by certified cashiers check or wire transfer. You may call me at 714 390 0968 but text me first so I answer the phone

This 69 Dodge Charger is one of the original 17 General Lee's found on Warner Brothers lot. This GL is also one of the 2 hero cars used in the latest Auto Trader Dukes of Hazzard commercials.(There were 4 stunt cars which were made for the commercials, which jumped, crashed, etc). This car was used for close-up interior shots of Schneider and Wopat driving the car. There is a Warner Brothers letter and contract, both with the VIN number for this car. Here are some interesting details concerning THIS General Lee.1. There is a middle seat in the front for Daisy....built by the prop dept.2. The car runs fine.....maybe a tiny bit of smoke when you first start it....until it warms up.3. I've left the engine compartment original. No repaints, etc. Just the way it was found.4. When I bought this GL it had quite a bit of bird droppings on it but instead of painting the car...I spent a lot of money just filling, patching and repainting tiny little spots on the top so I could honestly say it has about 80% original paint. 5. I hate autographs. Everyone I know has autographs of everyone.....however, I was offered an autograph from Schneider and Wopat when they were shooting the Auto Trader commercials in my car.....and I took the offer.....so they signed the vizor. I will discount the price a bit because of that. lol Anyway, there are millions of Dukes fans and I'm sure they all want tons of photos....etc, etc,......maybe even MY autograph. lol I'm not showing the Warner Brothers documents and contract but If you do become a serious buyer....of course that would be made available for you before you spent ONE CENT. I'm not putting a lot of photos in this listing because if you're NOT familiar with everything I've written....this car's not for you anyway. If you ARE serious, you can come see it or send a representative. Please!!!! No critics about what I should or shouldn't put in the listing. If you want the car, YOU can build a website and tell everyone all about it. I'm only putting in one picture, on purpose. I have about 10,000 photos of this car. If you're serious, you'll already know all about my car anyway. THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF VIDEOS ON LINE OF THE DUKES NEW AUTO TRADER COMMERCIALS......ALSO A DOCUMENTARY ON YOUTUBE ABOUT THE MAKING OF THESE COMMERCIALS.WHEN YOU SEE CLOSE-UPS OF SCHNEIDER AND WOPAT...THAT'S MY CAR.SORRY I'M TOO STUPID TO PROVIDE A LINK. LOL. Please keep in mind that there are thousands of orange Chargers with the orange paint, an 01 on the doors and a flag on the roof. You can probably get a nice one for 10K-15K......but you can also buy a replica of a Van Gogh painting for $30- If you're going to spend this amount of money, you want absolutely NO question that this car is from the Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Everyone has a story.....but only 17 General Lee's (out of thousands) come with the letter and contract from Warner Brothers. (If I'm correct....even the GL that John Schneider sold for $500,000- was not one of the TV show cars)
