Dodge truck 1965 Dodge W200 Swept line Power wagon crew cab For Sale In Apple Valley California Bob's Dodge power wagon sweptline early 1965 purchased in Barstow California new in 1964/65 at (Jim)Soutar's car dealership cash payment when picked up Bob Smillie's Unique 1965 Power Wagon Bob's father purchased this W200 Power Wagon in August 1964 and it remains in the family today. The factory (Warren Truck Plant) stretched the frame 8" so the 8' bed could be added. To compensate for the center of gravity imbalance the entire front drive assembly was shifted forward 2". The original 146" wheel base is now 156". Although he can't prove it, he believes the frame stretch was done by Kafferbarger Welding in Ohio. This Power Wagon has only 113,000 miles on it and still runs great with it's Poly 318. The dry desert area of Southern CA has kept it rust free. The truck is #375 in the 1965 model year run. All paper work refer to it as a 64 but the vehicle sequence # indicates it's a 65. Author Don Bunn and historian Paul Cook (Texas Power Wagon Museum) have made comments about this unusual truck in the Nov-Dec 2001 issue of "This Old Truck". Bob has the original DMV receipts and maintenance records. He has been told this truck is the only one of it's kind. Bob can be reached at: - Apple Valley,ca 760-240-4226 [email protected]

Up for sale is my 1957 L6W3M Power Wagon, registered in 1958 this was a one owner in the Phoenix Arizona area until it was bought locally around the turn of the century. I bought it in 2012 and have been using it as a daily driver since. It is a rust free truck with the straightest sheet metal I have seen on these vintage trucks. The passenger side rear fender is straight along with the tailgate which are two high wear items that are hard to find with out damage. It has a 33 gal gas tank with a working gas gauge, the original bed wood is under a 12 gauge sheet of metal in the bed, I have receipts for a rebuilt engine that was install by the previous owner and it runs smooth with no issues.the window glass is intact and the window regulators work well along with the windshield, the heater and fan are in working order. The cab locks with the same key as the ignition and the doors close evenly. This is a factory grey truck with the original paint still on the fire wall if you wanted to match it to repaint the exterior, it looks like the fenders were gray also at one time and the truck appears to have been painted twice that I can tell.It has a new head liner from Vintage installed and there are no rips in the seat. I have receipts for the rebuilt engine from the Phoenix area and also paper work for brake work done at Luke Dodge in Phoenix. The winch cable was installed two years ago and is 175' of 1/2" cable..I added the 1100x16 radials and although not new they are serviceable and I drive the freeways with them.I went through the axles and replaced seals and wheel cylinders where needed and replace the tie rod ends. This is not a trailer queen, but it is a rust free solid truck that you won't have to worry about rust blistering through your restoration paint and metal work at a later date Shipping : Buyer to pay all shipping costs, the truck is located in Oxnard 93035 Payment:This auction is a legal contract, do not bid unless you have the funds to pay for it, ask any and all questions before making an offer and I strongly urge you to see the truck in person, you can call me to make an appointment , I am available to show the truck. Up for sale is a 1947 Dodge Power Wagon WC62 which was built during WWII, it has been converted from Military application to Civilian application with Civilian sheet metal, cab and custom bed. I bought this truck from the owner in early 2013 and his vision was to update it as much as possible to modern day standards. After purchasing it I had it sent to Dan Minniger who owns Precision Power Wagon , at that time it was stripped down to the frame and built as only Dan can do and the quality can be seen in the pictures. Dan finish the build in June and for the shake down cruise it was driven to California over the course of 4 days and arrived in time to take "Best Truck" at the California Dodge Power Wagon Rally held at Hollister . Since 2013 it has been kept inside and well taken care of. This truck get over 25 mpg at 60 mph.The truck has been recently updated at the "Power Wagon Shop" in Ventura and new carpets along with additional insulation and upgraded stereo with cd, dvd, navigation and blue tooth. The winch was installed with 175' of new galvanized cable and attached to a Chelsea unidirectional pto, a new battery box was added which locks up and out of the way, but can also be easily accessible by unlocking and dropping it down for service, there is a red top Optima battery which starts the diesel nicely. If you need to help jump start someone there are insulated jumper lugs located inside the passenger side engine compartment as seen in the engine picture. A Vintage Air unit provides the air conditioning and heating and defrost and works well, the truck sits on STA Super Lug tires and the six on the ground have approx 3000 miles on them and the spare attached inside the bed has not seen pavement yet.The original 583 ring and pinions have all been changed to 489's. The truck can cruise comfortably in freeway traffic and with a 33 gallon custom stainless fuel tank built by Chris Case your range is close to 800 miles. The truck has 6 wheel power disc brakes along with power steering , the drivers side bucket seat is power and the truck comes with a standard receiver hitch with a dash mounted brake controller. Body. The sheet metal is from a WDX and it replaced the open military cab, hood and nose piece and the bed was custom built to the owners specifications I bought it from, the bed rail protectors, the spare tire holder and the head ache rack along with the bed work lights where added recently. Engine. The truck is powered by a Cummins 4BT 3.9 liter intercooled turbo diesel which has the VE pump and is running between 105 and 110 hp and carries a 3" pipe to the rear behind the passenger fender. Transmission. The ZF 5 speed works smoothly between gears, down shifting or up shifting and the clutch although it is heavy duty only requires a light touch on the pedal , the dual out put transfer case is well insulated and very quite and smooth also. Suspension. The front leaf packs were built for a 6bt conversion so there is plenty of arc in the spring packs with the 4bt, the front shocks are in good working order, the rear suspension is an inverted leaf spring bogie on a four link and rides very smooth compared to a two axle. Interior. The black bucket seats and carpet contrast well with the gray door panels and headliner, all widow glass is factory tint and in good shape with the exception of a small chip in the drivers side wind wing. Shipping. Buyer to pay for all shipping costs, the truck is located in Ventura California 93035 Payment. This auction is a legal contract, do not bid if you cannot pay, ask any questions before making an offer and I strongly urge you to make an appointment to see the truck in person, you can email me or call 805 -236-7402 with any questions, I am available to show the truck. 1952 Dodge M37 Power Wagon, ex US Army. It runs fine.....no smoke, and no leaks. I just put on a new water pump & fan belt. And a new NOS exhaust and intake manifold this week. It has the orig. 24 volt system...and it charges the batteries just fine (amp gauge works). I put 2 new 12 volt batteries in it last week as well. A year ago, it got a new brake master cylinder....and the brakes work ok. The clutch and transmission work fine. It was used for many years at a duck hunting club in the Sacramento Delta area. It has a Calif. title with Historic Vehicle plates (expired...no penalties to re-register in Calif.). It has all the military lights....but they need attending to. The front tires have 95% of their tread (like new), and the backs have 20%. The only body rust is the lower-right-rear part of the cowling. Otherwise the sheet metal is in great shape (obviously its never been in the snow). AND!!! it has the "optional" and original metal cab w/sliding back window. I put in new front windshield glass. The doors work fine...are complete w/winders & handles (side windows have some cracks). The driver & passenger seats are in great condition. The pickup bed is solid....tailgate has some dents. Will take in trade, non-running M37's and other military vehicles. I'm located in Palm Desert, Calif. (near Palm Springs) just off Hwy 10. You can call me at 714 310 9934 (David). Email: [email protected] for pics and questions. I have 6 Dodge trucks in various states of "decay"....upto a "no rust" primo original 1968 M37 w/new rebuilt engine, ready to install. I also have a rolling WC frame w/ some Command Car body parts, power steering & front fenders. Key words: 4 wheel drive, 4x4, Jeep, Bronco, military truck, Rat Rod, Hot rod, rock climber, Dodge truck, M37, M43, W series, WC, Power Wagon. Some trades welcome: Hotrods, antique cars & motorcycles.
