You are looking at a 1970 real Challenger RT 6 pack V-code car 1 of 793 made and 87K original miles. This RT has a original fender tag and a perfect original build sheet and original door sticker. The RT six-pack car has been personally inspected by Galen Govier with a full write up and inspection with pictures from him and is in the Chrysler registry and fully documented in 2007. This RT is a low mile six-pack car with a date coded correct 1970 HP six-pack 440 motor and 1970 date coded correct carb and intake set up so it is not number matching. It is a very good color combo with plumb crazy purple body color with black vinyl top and black bucket seat console interior. The RT was upgraded with front disc brakes, MSD ignition and a full TTI exhaust with flows and new tips. The interior is in great shape with some new parts and some original parts as well, the trunk floor was replaced at one time and the paint on the car looks good but does have some nicks because it was done 12 years ago so it has one repaint. The HP 440 motor was rebuilt one month ago and so was the 727 trans and carb set up so the drive train is all new. Everything works good on the car like the tack and all lights even the radio works. It drives down the road good and is great for taking to car shows but is not a Barret Jackson trailer queen car it is a clean six pack car you can drive with only 87K miles. This car always draws tons of attention and looks great this is a very solid investment with very few made and a killer color combo so you cant go wrong with this king of the road RT six-pack car. This RT is not a rotisserie restored car just a moderate restoration but is the best priced V-code car on Ebay. 1970 Dodge Challenger RT for sale. I purchased this car almost 10 years ago. It was originally a Los Angeles built car that at some point made its way to Michigan. When I purchased it in 2006, the car needed a lot of work. According to the fender tag, the car was originally an orange 383 RT with a white interior, white vinyl top, and white bumblebee stripe. By the time I purchased the vehicle, it was repainted once, the vinyl top was changed to black, the interior color was changed to black, and it had a black bumblebee stripe as well. The original 383 was long gone and replaced with a 440. The transmission was also replaced somewhere along the line. I had both quarter panels replaced, along with the trunk pan and trunk lid. Vehicle was repainted in 2010-2011, and I stayed faithful to the original Go Mango color and reproduced the white bumblebee stripe. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by local Southern California legend Hemi George in 2010 (my car was among the final ones he worked on before retiring). Engine was blueprinted and was built with an Isky cam, steel crank, stock rods, KB pistons, and stock dampner. I've since put less than 100 miles on it. It's been under a car cover and garaged ever since, but I start her up every few weeks to make sure she's running strong. Brand new 15" Rally wheels and tires. Engine, forward light, and dash harnesses were also replaced. The car is 95% restored. Needs to have the interior completed. The car is being sold as is, with no warranty written or implied.
