Rare automatic daily driver AC 240z. runs great. missing the ac compressor but everything else is there. I took out the ac control from inside the car but it comes with the car. just installed a new relay box for the starter and the headlight high and low beam to maximize the amount of voltage for led but the install for led is for the new owner. pertronix in distributor works great. New radiator and electric fans, new regulator and alternator is newer. one off the pictures is of the floor board on how good it is. I notice 2 pinholes under the seat but that was all i could see. the battery tray is in very good condition. ask all questions before you buy.

Car has underneath rust proof protection from factory. Car has new struts. The car has been re-sprayed after the conversion to the original color, Orange Mist. A real head turner every time I drive this car. One of a kind Z. I put this car in a car show for the first time this year and won Best of Show Award. Please only serious inquiries only. Please call me with any questions. Prefer to speak on the phone than email or text. Too much detail to explain. I am the second owner. I purchased it from the original buyer in PA, I was not able to get the paperwork on the convertible conversion of where and when it was installed or any service records from the original owner. Buyer responsible for local pick up or shipping quotes and costs. Vehicle must be picked up after 7 days of full purchase, paid in full by cashiers check only. Vehicle is all original condition. The tires were replaced, all four shocks and dust boots with Tokico brand were replaced, completely tuned up at Nissan dealer at 60,000 miles. All fluids were replaced, spark plugs, injectors, injector harness, distributor assembly, all rubber hoses in engine compartment along with air and fuel filters. Fuel pump was replaced in 2008. The repairs were performed due to the number of years, not any mechanical problems. The battery was just replaced along with full synthetic oil change. I have the original owners manual, both T-Tops storage bags, sheepskin covers for both seats and original car cover.

I am the 2nd owner of this black & gold 1980 Datsun 280ZX. It is number 2473 of 3000 of the 10th anniversary edition cars. I have owned the vehicle 9-1/2 years. I purchased it in June of 2007 in Farmington, Michigan from the original owner. It was stored in a warehouse there with other classic cars. It does not get used very much as you can tell by the low miles, 9421 miles. It has won it's class 3 times at the Japanese Classic Car Show (2007, 2008 & 2016) in California. It won 1st place in the Z division in 2015 at the Huntington Beach Concours Car Show. The car is always garaged or stored in a car trailer. All original paint. I have the original pinstriped Goodyear Wingfoot tires I use for car shows. There is plenty of tread on these tires and they are in great condition for 36 year old tires. Because of their age, I have been told it's not recommended to use them for regular driving. The wheels have the correct 10th anniversary wheel caps with chrome & the burnt orange color around the Z emblem on the caps. All other 1980 ZX's had standard chrome & black caps that still are available today. I have an extra set of tires (BF Goodrich Radial TA's) and 280ZX wheels for normal driving use. Since the car is originally from Michigan, it was undercoated by the dealership when purchased new. I had one of these anniversary cars when I was about 19 years old but couldn't afford to keep it. This one brought back great memories for me and I have enjoyed many car shows with it but I'm moving on to different things these days. Time for someone else to enjoy this great looking Japanese sports car. For further questions call Scott @ 714-742-five five eight zero. Note: 20ft. Interstate car trailer available for sale and is not part of this listing.

0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false Up for sale, a beautiful Datsun 240 Z finished in rally flats white over black interior. Enthusiast owned and very well cared for. This is a California, garage-kept 240z and is in original condition with tasteful “period correct” performance modifications. Body is fitted with properly installed fender flares to accommodate wider wheels and lowered suspension. Rear fenders have been rolled and not cut and front fenders have not been rolled or cut. Under the hood is an upgraded inline 6 L-26 with Edlebrock carburetor, capping the 6=8 Clifford intake manifold. Performance headers feeding to 2 ½” pipe back to a 4” tone resonator (sounds amazing yet not too loud). Electric fuel pump with dialable pressure regulator. Pertronix ignition and Flame Thrower coil, aluminum radiator with electric adjustable thermostatic fan. Engine is mated to a factory 5 speed transmission. Clutch shifts smoothly. No oil leaks and burns no oil. Always starts on the first turn of the key. Electrical upgraded to a Painless fuse-block. All lights and turn signals work. Interior is in excellent condition with period correct flourishes such as the vintage Izumi four spoke steering wheel and the Monoco rally seats. Carpets are like new and un-faded. No rips or tears anywhere. Windows roll up and down as they should and the doors lock. Wheels and suspension: Watanabe 15x 9s with new Goodyear 215-60-R15 all matching. Tokico comp lowering springs, urethane bushings all around. Steering is very tight and responsive. Buy this 240z for a fraction of what you would pay for a 911 of similar vintage, and beat them on the track. I have owned both. The 240z is stronger faster lighter and has legendary reliability and need I say, far less expensive to maintain.

Stunning 1971 240Z, five speed Super clean fresh restoration (not 100% finished) Beautiful classic racing paint scheme . Comes with original bumpers but they need to be rechromed. Brand new Tires. Refinished 1976 280Z rims (missing center caps). Awesome stance. Super straight body. Missing front grill.. Brand new tires. Black leather interior with suede leather inserts. Super clean no runs California car. Clean and painted door jams. Blue accent stitching and new carpet. Suede leather headliner. Milage on gauge is 99,276 (I assume it's actually more). No rust on rear deck or spare tire compartment, (missing carpet here). Missing upper and rear plastic panels. Stroked engine with triple Weber carburetors . Freshly rebuilt carbs.. Painted engine block and transmission to match exterior . Here is a reflection photo on the Passenger door. It's hard to capture the quality of this Amazing paint in photos . Here is the only flaw I see in the paint. Close up, I'm sure it can be repaired. Window scrapers needs to be replaced. Brand new never installed headlight covers Uncovered undercarriage so you can see that it's a good rust free car Primer overspray needs to be coated. Exhaust needs to be replaced, this is a temporary system so it can be driven Small box of extra parts including the rear window moldings I took this car in as a partial trade. I am a very picky Porsche guy but don't know much about Z's. Here's what I was told. The previous owner owned a custom body shop and this was to be his personal car. He storked the motor, installed a 5 speed, painted the engine block and transmission with the same blue paint as the body, (should clean up nicely). This was a three owner, Southern California car with no rust or accidents. It still has the original Blue plates. I have the clean Calif. title in hand. Here's what I do know, The only reason I took this car in was because the body and paint were freshly done by a professional. The quality of the work is top notch show quality. When you run your fingers over the two tone paint, you don't feel a bump. This car is buried in clear coat and is awesome. I was told the body was almost perfect prior to paint and the paint cost $9,500. They wrapped the interior in black leather and suede. The headliner is black suede. The dash was also professionally wrapped in matching black leather. They left the diamond pattern vinyl in the rear and over the transmission tunnel. This stunning car is sitting on freshly finished 1976 280Z rims with brand new BFGoodrich tires. We had the triple Webers professionally rebuilt and installed an aftermarket fuel pump. The front windshield is new, all the other glass is in excellent condition and was tinted. The tint is the film type so it can be removed if you prefer. There is a small box of extra parts that are included in this sale (see photos) and two perfect new, never installed clear headlight covers. The dash Id plate and stamped firewall is HLS30-17361, the plate on the driver B-pillar is missing. The rear hatch door has been replaced as it does not have the two vents and if you look deep inside you can see that it was originally painted green so it does not match the original peanut butter brown color this car was. There are no storage compartments behind the seats, there are two 240Z badges but only one has been installed on the C pillar, the other badge comes with the car but you will have to re-open the mounting holes if you want it re-instal it. Hopefully this will make the car more collectable and valuable to the new owner. I have personally driven it around the block. It's scary fast!! but does need finishing. Here's what it needs. The rear hatch gas shocks are missing. The rear deck needs carpet, the plastic inside quarter panels need to be finished. The panel that goes over the interior lights(missing)The original front and rear bumpers are included but need to be rechromed. The front grill is missing. The left rear tail light is missing. There is one small scratch on the rear hatch (see photos) Mechanically it's a beast!! But it will need the following: Paint the undercarriage, I left it as is so you can see the great shape of the floors. New exhaust system, some suspension bushings and I would recommend going through the brakes just to make sure all is safe. The lights work but the light switch has been modified. I would just replace it. The engine bay could use a little detail. With a little love this 240 will be a show winner and a blast to drive.I have included many photos, however if you need more or have any questions, feel free to call me. Also if you are in the Los Angeles area and would like to come by for an inspection and test drive simply call and we can work out a time. Please note that although this car is drivable, it should be towed home. It still needs work to be safe and reliable. I will accept a reasonable offer so let me know. Thanks for looking and please let me know if I can answer any questions. This car is being advertised else where and may sell prior to this Auction ending. If it sells before end of auction, I will end the auction. Thanks for looking, Hope you're the winning bidder!! Russ626-334-0404 For International buyers I can help with delivering to LA Port. The shipping cost will be on the buyer.

This car was purchased for my wife on 2/28/80 from Bill Whiten Datsun in Birmingham, AL. She has been the sole driver these past 36-1/2 years and the car has been garage kept and lovingly maintained. The odometer currently reads 92,454 miles. A major tune-up was performed less than 300 miles ago (92,195) by noted Fort Worth area Z-car specialist Rising Sun Performance located in Benbrook, TX. Items addressed in the tune-up include: •Oil and filter change•New spark plugs•New spark plug wires•New fuel filter•New air filter•New distributor cap and rotor•Valve clearance adjusted•Head bolt torque checked•New valve cover gasket•New coolant temperature sensor•New thermostat•Coolant changed out•Air flow metering adjusted/optimized•Timing adjusted•Brake lines flushed and refilled with new brake fluid•Installed a new rear differential snubber Other modifications/enhancements:•Replaced the factory radio/cassette player with a single din CD receiver•New battery installed on 5/7/15. This battery is warrantied until 5/7/20.•The air conditioning system was professionally converted to R134a on April 7, 2016 by AA Auto Air of Haltom City, TX. This included a complete blowout of the old R-12 mineral oil and replacement with PAG oil and installation of a new dryer.•New headliner installed April, 2016.•New fuel pump installed June 9, 2016. The car runs and drives as it should. Starts right up and burns no oil. The transmission upshifts and downshifts quickly without hesitation. Everything works. The tires have about 50% tread remaining. The interior is in great shape. Neither of the headlights in this car has ever burnt out so they are the original Koito units that came with the car when it left the factory in Japan. There is a rust bubble that has appeared in front of the right rear tire that you can see in the photo. These vehicles were produced before modern double-sided galvanized steel panels and rust preventive coatings and to have this little corrosion is somewhat remarkable. Included with the car are the original bill of sale, window sticker, owner’s manuals, repair manuals and special ZZ Top double “Z” keychain from their “Sharp Dressed Man” video that is attached to the key. Also included are any receipts I have for lifetime warrantied parts (brake pads, fuel pump, hatch lift cylinders, etc.) I’ve installed on the car. We are selling this car because we have no more room to park all of our vehicles on our property. So, some of our vehicles have to go if we intend to purchase anything else. I have another vehicle listed for sale here as well. I’ve attempted to describe the car as accurately as possible. Be mindful that this is not a “brand new, off the showroom floor” vehicle but one that was carefully driven and exceptionally well maintained over the years. As is common with vehicles this age, there is no warranty expressed or implied. If you have questions call me at (817) 688-7856 or just click the “Ask Seller A Question” button located on this page. I will accept cash, cashiers check (vehicle released upon clearing) or PayPal payments only. Not looking for any “trades”. Shipping or delivery of the car will occur after payment has been received. I will express mail the title to any out of state buyers and deliver the car to your shipper at a pre-determined location in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Buyer will pay all shipping cost. International shipping is not available. This vehicle is also being offered locally so I reserve the right to cancel this listing should it sell.

The body is straight with no collision damage whatsoever that I can see. Car was stripped to bare metal and received a Very high quality Re-Paint some time in the past... including under the hood. The car is completely rust free... Frame and chassis are super solid!... retains its original undercoating! Driver side floor received a small gash from a jack or something... maybe 3-4 inches. no big deal and I will try to have that patched this week... just wanted to disclose it. The interior is fabulous as well... panels, carpet, and seats have all been custom done in blue and gray... super nice job and looks great... dash has full face cover. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly, except the clock of course! Cold AC and nice after market sound system. L28 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... tuned perfectly! EXPORT NO PROBLEM! This is a really interesting and cool 1978 Custom 280Z in very nice condition all around!! This is an original West Coast low mileage Z that I purchased from an artist. He spent 100's of hours and lots of money customizing this car... see last 2 pics! I got it and didnt love the look but didnt have the heart to just paint over his work so I had the car dip wrapped with a material that can be easily removed if desired. The car turned out awesome!!... it looks runs and drives great with a nice blend of his work and my desired look! I will of course include his custom bumpers etc if desired. The miles are said to be original and backed up by the title. Unmolested and well maintained drivetrain and suspension. Has nice details and could be awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection. The body has no rust or collision damage that I can see. It was body worked to fill holes and smooth things but no major damage that I can detect. There are some imperfections and blemishes but overall presents beautifully. Has some mild custom touches... I love the look!! Passanger door opens with a custom mechanism... easily removed but its unique and kinda cool. I do have a set of fender flares and airdam that I was considering installing along with some jdm style custom seats but I like it as it is so maybe not. If it doesnt sell this week I may install those and raise the price accordingly. Frame, floors, and chassis are super solid!! New bronze 15 inch rims with nice tires. It's not a trailer queen... it's a driver! Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll. The interior is custom as well... panels, and dash have custom touches... carpet was replaced by custom rubberized matting. Seats are later model cloth Nissan... they are comfortable and in good shape.. they have multiple adjustments and nice support... they are blue and gray. I was going to have them dyed brown or black or replace with the racing seats so for now theyre just covered. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly, except the clock (of course lol) Nice aftermarket stereo and speakers. L28 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... sounds great through custom exhaust.. (I dont like the muffler placement so I'm having the redone this week.) 5 speed Trans shifts smooth and strong through the gears. Suspension is tight and provides excellent ride... brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable. Overall this is a really cool Classic Z in great condition all around. Fun history and options. I am a Z collector. This one makes an Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price. The car is located in Beverly Hills California... Inspections are welcome and encouraged... serious buyers can call me at 310 850 8980 but no tire kickers please. I'm open to interesting trades (within ebay guidelines) but no projects or junk please. IMPORTANT: I have tried to describe this vehicle as accurately and honestly as possible but please remember it is a used vehicle. As with any vehicle, (new or used) there may be issues that I have overlooked or am unaware of.
