This classic Chevy Silverado Suburban is in amazing condition, inside, outside & engine! We bought this Suburban from my uncle (who collects & restores vehicles and aircraft) at the beginning of this year (2015). It had been sitting in his warehouse since he purchased it, a few years back. He purchased it from the original owner (the original owner's paperwork is still in the glove compartment), who had garage-kept and babied it since he bought it new. It has only 80, 909 original miles!! Prior to selling the vehicle to us, my uncle had his mechanic thoroughly check it for any immediate needs. A tune-up and a new AC compressor were all that was needed. The tires are like new. New brake pads were installed and the vehicle aligned 2 months ago. We also did a full oil change, including new filter, last week. Runs great & smooth!Official vehicle information - 1986 Chevrolet C10 Suburban 1/2 Ton Sport Utility Vehicle with a 8-cyl. 350cid/165hp 4bbl OHV engine.The body is in excellent condition with NO rust, minimal areas of paint with patina, and minimal areas where top coat and/or paint has worn off (these are all pictured). Small dent and bend on driver's side of rear bumper (NO rust). Interior is in excellent condition as well. All original equipment. Cold AC. Missing one piece of decorative stripping on driver's side door. One bracket on each of the front door handles has popped off, but we still have them. All automatic door locking mechanisms still work, except the passenger door on the driver's side. All windows are manual. No third seat. (Which is the main reason why we need to sell! We are expecting another baby!) Also, the second seat does not have seatbelts with shoulder straps (which is not good for carseats). However, all seatbelts work fine. Second seat folds to create even more cargo space. Very clean interior! Radio works great. Original owner had a CB radio and antennae installed. Rear door is a gate-style with an automatic window (opens with the key or with a switch on the front dash area). The original owner also had a heavy-duty tow bar/hitch, with fully functional (we have used it several times) trailer electric (lights) hookup. It is a very rare 6.2 Diesel 4x4 Suburban with only 97,000 original miles. Truck is in pristine condition and absolute no rust. Body is all original, not restored. Check pictures from underneath, it’s all original. Engine and transmission is also original. Truck has been always garage kept, and never been drove in the winter, never seen snow in its entire life. I still have the original manual. Title is clean and on my name. Truck drives great and you can drive this truck anywhere I bought this truck over 3 years ago, and since then I’ve been doing a lot of work. There is a lot to list, this is what I remember so far, I am sure there are more. All parts replaced were OEM. New front and rear springs New front and rear shocks (Bilstein shocks) New aluminum 17” wheels New BF Goodrich All terrain tires, 285 x 70 x 17. Tires and wheels with about 2,000 miles now New brakes all around, flushed with new fluid New radiator, water pump and all hoses replaced New A/C air compressor and all hoses New alternator New batteries. Replaced all door seals and windows channels All windows actuators were disassembled, cleaned and lubed and new ACdelco electric motors installed. Windows rolls up and down like a brand new truck. This also includes the rear gate window New glow plugs and glow plugs relay New harmonic balancer New fan clutch New Headliner Rebuild 14 bolt (full floater) rear axle, 8 lugs New ring and pinion for front axle Sound proof/insulation (Dynamat) applied on hood, door panels and roof. Engine noise level inside cab is very low now Rust protection applied underneath - Noxudol 700 (the best on the market) New interior rear view mirror with compass, temperature and rear back up camera All fluids replaced (engine, transmission, differential, coolant, brake fluid, etc) Frond doors pins and all four doors strikers replaced New CDR Valve New Warn front hub Others: TH700R4 transmission with overdrive Cruise control, power windows and power locks Overhead console Rear A/C and rear heater Transmission and rear differential temperature gauge Truck cover (used for indoor storage during winter) Break controller Rear view mirror with rear camera, compass, interior and exterior temperature Intake manifold from 1 ton diesel truck without EGR. This is a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado trim Suburban R2500 with the 7.4L Tonawanda V8 with a 4 speed automatic transmission with over drive, it has a 3.73 differential ratio. I've recently dumped over $3,000 of engine work in this tank, it has a brand new block bored .30 over in the cylinders, same with the crankshaft and the camshaft was resurfaced. New parts that I can think of off the top of my head though I'm sure there's lots more: New pistons, crank bearings, gaskets all around, push rods, connecting rods, harmonic balancer, piston rings, oil pressure switch, heater core, fuel injectors, fuel regulator, TBI gaskets, Cherry bomb 3" single chamber race muffler, goodyear gatorback serpentine belt, air filter, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, engine block valve covers and intake manifold and air filter housing freshly painted black. There's a lot more work done to it, it starts fantastically and runs great and has a ton of power. I've owned it now for about 5 months and found I'd prefer to have something a bit smaller. The engine has 30k miles of warranty with the shop that did it, I will include all the files it came with when I bought it of previous maintenance performed on it through the years which is amazingly meticulous. Super rare find in this condition and in the C2500 3/4 ton model. Has no rust on fenders or undercarriage. Strong running Detroit 6.2L diesel with turbo 400 transmission. Overall very nice with some fading of the red paint and peeling clearcoat on the hood. Looks to me some things like the tailgate and some doors have been repainted. Interior is nice with no rips or tears in the seat fabrics of carpets. There is a small rust spot above the rear door on the underside of the roof. I think this is from water dripping off the roof in the heavy FL dews and collecting there. Mechanically the truck is excellent except the speedometer and odometer are broken. I bought this truck to tow a boat across the country but the boat deal did not work out. I have owned it for about 4 months and have used it lightly to haul some lumber for some remodeling projects. it has the electric rear window and swing town tailgate which is great for hauling lumber up to 16' long. The cruise control, AC, power locks and windows all work, some of the windows are a bit slow. The fuel gauge works as does the oil pressure. The temp and battery gauge are also out along with the odometer. Googling around, this seems a common issue and it seems you can send the gauge cluster out for rebuild. Odometer show 180,000. I estimate it has no more than 200,000 and it appears the injection pump was replaced at some point in the recent past. The engine is very strong and clean with no leaks. The turbo 400 equipped 6.2L diesels had a bit more torque than the overdrive model so good for pulling a boat or travel trailer. Is equipped with a heavy hitch and fancy electric brake controller. Tires have great tread, but have some weather cracking on the outer ply. Please ask any questions, I simply have no need for a heavy duty vehicle like this anymore.

fantastic example of the best body style Chevy every made.454 th400 3.73 2wd, all original drive train - but the truck has had a few mods for performance/mileage.for instance, has aftermarket air cleaner, the EGR has been bypassed, the smog equip has been removed, new dual exhaust (no cats) and an aftermarket chip for performance/mileage gains. it really is in excellent shape - with 2 exceptions- the drivers seat (bottom) has one panel of fabric missing - and the roof of the vehicle is sun faded beyond these two things - the truck is in near perfect condition. thanks for looking
