The 1972 truck is the most coveted of all. This 72 K10 Custom is absolutely no exception. Frame on restored in 2012 this great looking K10 is painted in its rare original factory color of Medium Green. This truck started off as a straight, rust free clean example, painted in a new base coat clear coat finish, with new grill and new chrome bumpers. The bed still has its very solid original wood flooring, the flooring along with the rest of the bed has been painted an attractive grey that ties in nicely with the rest of the truck. Powered by a powerful 350 engine, with Edelbrock 650cfm carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake, dual exhaust, manual choke, and a new 4 speed manual transmission. This truck runs extremely well and the new 4 speed transmission makes shifting smooth and a real pleasure. The truck utilizes stock Dana 44-5F Front axle with splicer manual hubs and Saginaw HO52 rear axle, a NP205 transfer case, as well as stock gearing. The truck sits on a set of 325/65R18 Toyo Open Country Tires size on 18" chrome rims. The truck sits at a stock ride height which makes for amazing road manners both in town or at highway speeds. The truck sacrifices nothing off road as well. In addition to new paint the trucks interior has been updated with new upholstered seat, new carpet, sliding rear glass window and CD stereo system. Everything works as it should. This truck is great looking and a pleasure to drive. Clean examples like this are getting hard to find with 1972 examples reaching very impressive prices at the 2016 Barrett Jackson, Scottsdale auction. You will love owning this excellent K10 Truck. Strong running and great driving (just completed a trouble-free 300 mile trip) 1971 Chevrolet K10 4X4 half-ton long bed pickup truck with the Holy Grail running gear combo (newer small block 350, SM465 4 speed manual trans, NP205 transfer case, Dana 44 front & 12 Bolt rear diffs) and power steering and power brakes. My buddy has too many trucks and his wife said get rid of some. I'm the Ebay go-to guy with my friends and family so he asked me to sell it for him. Here's a list of all it's goodies in no particular order... * New Starter* HEI Ignition Upgrade* New Plugs & Wires* Edelbrock Chrome Air Filter* Rochester QuadraJet 4 Barrel Carburetor* Fresh 3.73 Gears Front & Rear* New Heater Core* New Hoses & Belts* New Windshield Washer Reservoir & Pump* New Coolant Reservoir* Cooling System Just Flushed* New Battery* New Steering Stabilizer* New Front Rotors & Pads* Newer Warn Locking Hubs* Newer Dual Exhaust With Turbo Mufflers* Rams Horn Exhaust Manifolds* Rancho RS5000 Shocks* Polyurethane Body Mount Bushings* 4 Inch Lift Kit* Aluminum Spoke Rims* 33X12.50RLT All Terrain Radial Tires* Front Bull Bar* Luverne Chrome Rear Bumper* Valley HD Tow Hitch* Pioneer AM/FM/CD Stereo With Pioneer Door Speakers* Sliding Rear Window* Excellent Glass All Around* Chrome Glove Box Door* New Glove Box Insert* Chrome Ash Tray* 2 Additional Power Ports Under Dash* New High & Low Beam Switch* New Seat Belts The running gear is awesome with no apparent issues. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country today. It starts right up, accelerates, shifts smoothly, tracks straight, turns and stops exactly as it should. Four wheel drive system works great as well. Tires have good tread but are cracking due to age. In my opinion, the excellent condition of the engine, running gear, suspension, and frame represent this truck's greatest strength. The interior is in very good condition. The dash has minimal cutting (around radio only) and very few additional holes drilled; all easily fixable. Dash pad is severely cracked and should be replaced. Passenger window handle is stripped so it's difficult to roll up. Heater blower motor is inoperative. Speedometer, odometer, and all gauges other than fuel work. All running and driving lights work. Ignition switch is loose but works fine. The biggest issue with this truck is the typical vintage Chevy truck rust. It's all repairable (I've certainly seen much worse) and all panels are available inexpensively. The bed is in surprisingly good shape with minimal rust (previously repaired) around the fenderwells. Floorboards, rockers, cab corners, and lower door skins all need love. Please look closely at my additional pictures. I've coated all exposed areas with a rust converter so it will not spread further. The bones of this truck are awesome. It's only real issues are with the body and they're all fixable. If you are in a dry climate you could just leave it the way it is and enjoy it. It's a great driver as it sits. Or take it to the next level. Just my two cents. My name is Chris and I am happy to answer your questions. Please call me at 435-669-1470. I also have about 200 pictures that show every nook and cranny in great detail (including the undercarriage). Send me your email address and I'll get them to you. It is ready to enjoy today so you may want to consider flying in and driving home. That would be a fun adventure and I'd be happy to help facilitate it. This great 1971 Chevy K10 4X4 is located in the dry, desert community of Santa Clara, Utah (about 125 miles north of Las Vegas). Good luck and good bidding.

Super Clean Rare 3/4 Truck! 55,670 Original Miles! Chevrolet's modern pickup era began in 1937 when management filled in the holes in the model lineups. Prior to 1937 the company produced a Commercial model (1/2-ton) and a Heavy Truck (1 1/2-ton). The gaps were closed with the introduction of 3/4- and one-ton models. Actually these new models came late in the model year in July 1937. Another interesting development was that the trucks again shared the styling traits of automobiles. The new 3/4-ton truck had a wheelbase of 122 1/4-inches, a payload capacity of 1,500 pounds and a GVW of 5,800 pounds. The one-ton differed from the 3/4-ton in that it had larger rear brakes, heavier rear springs and bigger wheels and tires. The OHV truck engine, for all models, was increased in size to 216.5 cubic inches. Compression ratio was at 6.25:1. Brake horsepower increased to 85 at 3200rpm and torque was at 170 ft-lbs. Super Nice Clean Truck - Runs and Drives as it did in 1937. It was totally restored approximately 6 years ago, motor and trans was gone through. Has a minor oil leak out of the oil pan, speedometer needle has fallen off, but the odometer still works. Drivers window rolls down but its a little hard, needs taken apart and lubed.
