Up for sale is a very nice 1952 Chevy 3100 truck sitting on a modern S-10 Chassis. This truck has the natural patina with the modern comforts that everyone wants in these trucks. This truck was not just put on a s-10 frame and run out the door this truck was taken apart and built from the ground up. The drive line was built by a local professional with no expense spared. The 350 engine was built with a nice aftermarket cam and runs out flawlessly. The turbo 350 transmission was rebuilt with upgraded components to handle the new engine and to give you years of reliability. The S-10 Chassis suspension was lowered to a nice ride height that gives you a nice handling truck with the factory style suspension. The wheels and tires were custom set for this truck to sit right inside the fenders and to give the widest stance with still having full clearance. The headlights are JW Speaker headlight that give you the most visibility on the road with still retaining that custom look. The gauges on the dash are made by Dakota Digital and are the top of the line gauges for any classic vehicle. The list just goes on and on with this truck. Look at the pictures of this truck and you can see that this is just not your average truck that everybody is trying to sell that they built in there back yard, this truck was built right and built by professionals. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country today. It starts right up, accelerates, shifts smoothly, tracks straight, turns and stops exactly as it should. Four wheel drive system works great as well. Tires have good tread but are cracking due to age. In my opinion, the excellent condition of the engine, running gear, suspension, and frame represent this truck's greatest strength. The interior is in very good condition. The dash has minimal cutting (around radio only) and very few additional holes drilled; all easily fixable. Dash pad is severely cracked and should be replaced. Passenger window handle is stripped so it's difficult to roll up. Heater blower motor is inoperative. Speedometer, odometer, and all gauges other than fuel work. All running and driving lights work. Ignition switch is loose but works fine. The biggest issue with this truck is the typical vintage Chevy truck rust. It's all repairable (I've certainly seen much worse) and all panels are available inexpensively. The bed is in surprisingly good shape with minimal rust (previously repaired) around the fenderwells. Floorboards, rockers, cab corners, and lower door skins all need love. Please look closely at my additional pictures. I've coated all exposed areas with a rust converter so it will not spread further. The bones of this truck are awesome. It's only real issues are with the body and they're all fixable. If you are in a dry climate you could just leave it the way it is and enjoy it. It's a great driver as it sits. Or take it to the next level. Just my two cents. 1972 Chevy K-10 4x4 Shortbed Pickup Truck – Originally from Southwest U.S. I am the 4th owner of this truck. The history of the truck as I know is as follows: Original Owner – Purchased in 1972 and sold to 2nd Owner on January 9, 1975. 2nd Owner sold it to 3rd Owner on March 10, 2015. (2nd and 3rd Owners were good friends.) As the 4th Owner I purchased the truck in June of this year and had it shipped from Phoenix to Fort Wayne, Indiana. · First Owner – 1972-1975 (3 Years) · Second Owner – 1975-2015 (40 years) · Third Owner (3 Months) · Fourth Owner (5 Months) · (Transfer title from Arizona from 2nd to 3rd Owner comes with truck showing dates above.) Odometer reads 04380 – but actual mileage is unknown. The truck had a truck cap on it most of its life as well, so the bed is in very good shape. The interior is new. The dash pad is original and looks good. It only has two small tears in it each about the size of a pea. All gauges work. Replaced the rubber floor mat, and replaced the thresholds with stainless steel ones. New glovebox, New radio antenna, New cardboard shield behind the seat (in front of the gas tank), New door panels, (original ones come with truck), New reupholstered seat. New front and rear brakes and bled the system. New distributor cap, rotor button, and coil. The truck starts on the first or second try and idles smoothly. The truck does have a few small drip leaks that show up after being parked. It does not smoke when started. Comes with overhaul and service manuals on CD, new door hinge pins and a new right outer tie rod end that goes with the truck. The truck does show evidence of being painted multiple times as you can see in the pictures. It looks like it was not sanded down before repainting. The truck also has body filler and a few bubbles in it in a few areas – the rocker panels, the floor pan at the forward part of the rocker panels, the driver side cab corner, at the back of the cab near the gas cap. It also looks like the front bumper hit something lightly, but it came back and cut into the front fenders a little. There are also a few dents and dings around the truck as can be seen in the pictures. Lastly, there are a few small rock chips in the windshield (all glass looks original – tinted from factory). Overall the truck is very straight and drives straight down the road. Chevrolet only made 6,069 short bed fleetside 4 wheel drive (4x4) trucks with the 6.5’ bed, so there are not too many of these still around. This one is a Custom model, and it has power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning (A/C). Air conditioning currently does not work. The system has been discharged, but all parts are intact and installed on the truck. The 4 wheel drive works well and is very strong. The truck also has duel saddle fuel tanks. $500 deposit due via PayPal. Balance due within ten (10) days of end of auction via cashier’s check, money order, or cash. Consigning a 1950 Chevy pick up, street rod!!! The pick up is powered by a great running 350 v8, 350 automatic trans., 10 bolt rear with drum, and Gm independent front suspension (Camaro), with power steering, and power disc brakes. There are new dolphin gauges, new rims, new bumpers, etc... The paint is a 2 stage Mercedes Silver looks great! (not perfect has flaws). The interior is clean, and up dated silver (looks nice). The exhaust sounds great!! The bed bottom has been line xed, .Glass is older has some bubbling. This is a great looking,and running pick up, its low and ready to go!!!
