1965 Chevy 4X4 pick up. This truck is fairly sound. I just drove it from California to Michigan in June (it was a very slow ride). I believe the truck was built in Freemont and then revised in Helena Montana for a fire company by Superior Fire Apparatus Co. 4 speed tranny with granny gear. 4.57 rear end gears. Transfer case (could use new seals) but works fine. I don't know if it had factory air originally but the vents and controls indicate that either did or was installed early in its life. I believe that the lift was done at the Superior Fire Apparatus factory. Military M22 37" tires. There is some rust and filler in parts of the truck but all in all it is pretty solid. 12,000 pound electric winch included-just haven't had time to mount it. This pickup is a 4 wheel drive, 3/4 ton 4 speed on the floor. It has a small block chevy that I had running a couple years ago. I'm not sure it runs now. It has matching 4:56 front and rear axles and a gear to gear transfer case. The body is rough but very restorable. The bed of the box is rusted out some. The tires are bad, as well as the seat (foam is bad). I drove this pickup for years but I stopped driving it several years ago and it has been sitting since. The rear bumper as a dealer name from Arizona. I'm assuming it was bought there but it spent most of its life in Michigan. My dad bought this truck from the original owner back in the 70's and then I got it from him so I know most of the history. Mileage is not known for sure. It is being sold for parts or a project. Would also make a great mud bug or pulling truck. It is going to need a lot of work and is not drive able. A $400 deposit by Paypal is due within 24 hours of the end of auction. The balance is due in cash within 7 days at the conclusion of the auction. Must be picked up within two weeks
