I am selling my 2008 corv ette. Car is very well maintained. The car is fully loaded with everything but magnetic ride control. The lt4 package is rare, the car also has the Z51 package. Only modifications consist of kooks long tube headers, Billy boat exhaust, plx wideband o2, procharger p1sc-1 with stock pulley running low boost. Car Does have a lien on it. No issues with the car it runs, starts and drives great. Feels like a stock car unless you get on it. If your concerned on the pro charger do your research everyone says these cars can stay very reliable with this setup. I baby the car as I do anything I own, but the occasion I get on it and feel the power really puts a smile on my face. The car smells fresh , and looks new inside and out. 1996 Corvette Convertible LT4 Six Speed Red/Red. I just purchased this fresh trade inat the local Ford dealer. This car was owned since 1998 by a local businessman whohas kept it garaged the entire time. I have known this car since he purchased it in 1998.I am a long time Corvette enthusiast/owner and former President of the Texas Chapterof the National Corvette Restorers Society, NCRS. Excellent Condition inside and out with low 42k miles. White Convertible top (original).Rear tires will need to be replaced within next few thousand miles. LTPWS (Low TireWarning) system light comes on when car warms ups, although the system doesfunction and will tell you of a low tire. I have not taken to the Chevy dealer for anevaluation. Please note small blemish in drivers seat bottom that is easily repairable. Surface tear, very small, no missing leather. I have done nothing to the car since I purchased it just a few weeks ago. Engine runsstrong, transmissions shift perfectly. I don't know of any problems with this car otherthan the LTPWS. I just spoke with the 17 year owner who confirmed this was the onlyknown problem. Owner reports minor paint work to the driver's side front quarter paneland door that did not require any panel or door replacement. Total repair bill wasaround $1000 as he recalls. This is a beautiful example of this last year model in the best possible colors. A noexcuses car that will be hard to duplicate. Very low miles, unmolested, garaged, witha long term mature owner. For sale is a highly collectable heavily optioned 1 Owner 1996 Corvette LT4 Convertible with 19,665 carefully driven miles. I am the original owner and custom ordered this Corvette from the factory in February 1996. It has been garaged it's entire life and well maintained. It has been started and driven monthly to insure that the seals and gaskets remain lubricated and the tires don't get flat spots. I ordered every option available for 1996 Base Convertibles as you can see from the Original Window Sticker picture and also listed below. I even ordered the spare tire along with the Run Flat Tire option. The spare has never been used. In additional to being registered in New York it was also registered in California and now Rhode Island as it followed my relocations. All cross-country transport was done in a closed carrier. This car is accident free and all paint is original. Paint shines like new because of the garaging and meticulous detailing. I change the oil and filter annually using factory recommended Mobil 1 oil. I detailed it for many years using a good grade of Zymol wax and during the past several years I Clay Bar, Polish, Jet Seal and then apply Chemical Guys Carnauba wax. The car has been garaged it’s entire life and only goes out in nice weather. In the winter season it is driven from it’s heated garage then up and down my driveway monthly. In May 1997 I purchased a set of chromed OEM Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 wheels from Corvette Mike in CA (original receipt will be included). They have been on the car since I received them and after nearly 18 years they are showing age from pitting and peeling (inner part of wheels). I have the original OEM wheels that came with the car and they are included in the auction although the buyer will need to pay for the separate shipping of those wheels. I can calculate the additional shipping cost. Every fall and spring I use 303 on the weather strip and other rubber exposed items. Because of this treatment the weather strip has held up well for their age but there are some signs of age along the inside bottom of the windshield. Front tires are original and rears were replaced in 2004 due to one not holding air so I replaced both with correct Goodyear GSC OEM tires in order to maintain same tread depth in the rear. The car was just serviced in August 2015 to have Brake Fluid Flush and Change, Transmission Fluid Change, Cooling System Flush and Change and Rear Differential Fluid Change. At the same time I had the Serpentine Belt replaced, Fuel Filter replaced and an O2 Sensor replaced. It also passed RI State Inspection and issued a sticker that is valid until August 2017. I have most of the service receipts (might have all but can’t promise) that will also be included along with the original owners manual, case, Hardtop fastening tool, bill of sale, window sticker, 1996 Corvette Brochure and original OEM wheels. I will also include the hardtop hoist, storage assembly and cover (see photo) which I purchased from an aftermarket supplier. I’m not aware of any issues with this car. Everything works as it should. Front air dam (black) has some scrape marks from going into my driveway in CA (streets and driveways there tend to have a sharp angle for water run off) but not broken. One of the BOSE emblems is missing from a rear speaker and there is a very small scratch near the left fog light that I highlighted in the video. If you would like to have the vehicle inspected I can work with your inspection service. As with any vehicle that has been driven there are sure to be some signs of wear even through this car has been carefully driven and stored. Please ask any questions now as all sales are final. If you think all C4 corvettes are the same, then you haven't driven or heard of an LT4 Corvette. Developed in 1996 for the Grand Sport model to commemorate the final year of the C4, an LT4 engine could be ordered as an option on any Corvette ordered that year. 614 Black Coupes with built with an LT4 engine and bullet proof ZF6 transmission. The LT4 was a special high-performance version of the new-generation LT1. With the addition of a slightly more aggressive camshaft profile, 1.6:1 roller aluminum rocker arms, high-flow intake manifold (painted red) it was rated at 330 horsepower (250 kW) and 340 lb·ft (461 N·m). This one has been dynoed, like many, at 350 hp proving that GM understated the power of this engine. This was believed to be because GM did not want this engine to over-shadow the LS1 that was to be released the following year. This car is a looker and can easily take honors at car show or be ready for as much driving as you want to throw at her. Corvette Magazine stated earlier this year that an LT4 optioned Corvette is a 'Best investment under 20K' in the Corvette buying world. The back are 9.5" wheels with 285/45ZR17 with Goodyear F1 tires. Tires only have about 2000 miles on them and cost around $300 / each. I also have the original saw blade wheels available and will include them at my asking price or they can be negotiated separately.
