It is linked to a matching numbers Muncie 4-speed that shifts smoothly. I have invested over $25k in the past five years in new tuxedo black paint, a completely new saddle interior (with many OEM parts), modern sound system with bluetooth, brand new chrome headers and side pipe exhaust, L-88 style hood, OEM center caps and trim rims, beefier BF Goodrich tires that have perhaps 800-1000 miles on them, and much more. Mechanically, the brake system has been overhauled, new upper and lower ball joints, new universal joints on driveshaft, and more. Checking the date codes on this car, it was assembled on December 15, 1969...one of the last couple hundred Corvettes to be produced that year. The car is a complete head turner.
