While you are most interested in the leather-wrapped steering wheel and the six-speed gearshift that perfectly falls to your right hand, there are plenty more features in this ZR-1. This includes power windows, power locks, keyless entry, cruise control, power seats, and an AM/FM/CD/cassette Bose stereo. There's a great glass targa top to let you decide when you want the elements to blow through the cabin, and the automatic climate control means you can do this any time of the year. Because this is a modern classic that's barely two decades old, there are also great modern safety features like the dual airbags and anti-lock brakes. That wondrous LT5 engine is still as amazing today as it was when it debuted. After all, who doesn't love a 5.7-liter 32-valve V8 rated at 405 hp. It's intimidating with those long intake runners up top and the cam covers on each side, but the good news is that they're virtually indestructible and run for hundreds of thousands of miles without complaint. So this one feels barely broken in averaging less than 4,000 miles annually so far. The adjustable suspension rides well enough to make this a fantastic grand tourer on the days when you don't want it to handle like a racetrack king. Plus, the powerful four-wheel disc brakes don't seem to mind the car's 180 MPH capabilities. And the wide Nitto Extreme ZR tires are a great investment in properly capping off this handling package. They only made 448 Corvette ZR-1s in 1995 (only 6939 C4 ZR-1s in total), and so you know this is a future collectable.
