I am the second owner (62yo) of this beautiful car. Bought the car 3 years ago from the 60+ yo original owner's estate with 12,XXX miles on the odometer. The car now has a little under 18,000 on the odometer. The orig. owner paid LPE (Lingenfelter Performance Engineering) over $20k to build the engine for this car. The engine makes right at 500 HP. I just had the 4L60e auto trans built with all HD parts and higher stall (not radical) billet torque converter. Near perfect orig paint, near perfect grey and black interior, Original Bose sound system, New tires all around, 285/40-17 front, 315/35-17 rear. The Lingenfelter engine has approx. 5,000 miles on it and the trans has approx. 500 miles since being built. Fantastic road car. Drove it to Phoenix last year and averaged 25mpg. Gets around 10mpg around town if you play a bit. Some of the engine work includes: All forged rotating assembly, Lingenfelter custom grind roller cam and lifters, stainless roller rocker arms, extensively ported LT1 aluminum heads and upper/lower intake, BBK throttle body, JET computer custom calibrated for this car, open air box, K&N air filter, Royal Purple Synthetic oil and K&N oil filter always used plus much more! Never been to the track. I am selling this car for a fraction of what it took to build. Need to sell it so I can buy parts for my Plymouth Duster project! Can send more Pics on request. Interior wise, the car looks good. The original leather seats feel soft and are in great shape and power features work! Carpeting is like new, no holes or wear spots and has original floor mats too. Door panels look excellent. Dash, plastic switches and buttons are all in very good condition. The wood grain laminate trim is showing it's age but it hanging in there. Steering wheels looks excellent and everything inside the car works as it should! Non smoker car, still smells like leather inside. Mechanically, the car runs very good. Engine starts up and is very strong on hard acceleration. (see video) Transmission shifts smooth with no hard shifts. The transmission does make a whining noise but shifts with no issues. Has a good set of tires which are older but have plenty of tread, original wheels look excellent and has wheel locks with the key. The car handles great and drives good on the freeway. Up for sale is a mint condition torch red 1998 Chevy Corvette. It has only 34k miles and it shows! It has never been driven in the rain, has always been garaged and well maintained since new.
