Only 38,000 original miles and this Corvette has always been garage kept and it is owned and driven by a senior citizen woman who has pampered it. This Corvette was manufactured at the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant in August of 2001 and since that time it has averaged just under 3,000 miles per year. Just enough use to keep everything working properly and not enough driving to wear anything out. In the past month this 2002 Corvette has been shod with a brand new set of Goodyear tires and had a brand new Battery installed. It currently needs nothing and someone ......... (WHY NOT YOU ?) ......... is going to make a great buy on a classic American sports car. Chevrolet started making the Corvette in 1953 and while the model has had it's share of ups and downs over the years ......... experts agree that by the time the 5th generation Corvette's were being produced from 1997 until 2004 they were the very best of the breed and far improved over the models that had come before. Collectors point to the 2001 thru 2004 models as the best of the 5th generation Cars.
