Here for your consideration is our 1972 CHEVELLE SS 350 CONVERTIBLE. YES, ITS A REAL SS MATCHING NUMBERS CAR! Sorry for the long text; but if youtake time to read it - it should tell you all you need to know. This car is an Original SS Convertible - NOT a CLONE or FAKE SS. I have the ORIGINAL Protect-O-Plate but I do NOT have the window sticker. I haven’t torn the car apart to find the build sheet. It may or may not be there. Also, sometimes questions arise regarding proving authenticity of a true SS. There is an obscure feature on the instrument panel of 1972 SS Chevelles. Although the 72 SS has the same circular gauges as 70 and 71 cars; it's not widely known that 1972 SS Chevelles have a "Fasten Seat Belt" light which appears as a small horizontal round corner light located below the heater controls to the right of the radio controls. Reproduction dashes often used to fake an SS are designed to fit 70-72, but do NOT have the seat belt light opening. Although the panel has lost the shiny chrome luster on its edges, This particular car HAS the correct circular gauges WITH the correct seat belt light only used on 1972 Chevelles, and a few late production 1971's. Hope this info helps anyone contemplating purchasing this vehicle. REASON WE ARE SELLING: We have WAY too many cars (14) - and need to “Thin the Herd.” Our money is tied up into too many rolling savings accounts. If you truly want a nice original SS Convertible and have funds available - Please do not feel shy about making an offer on this car. Although my asking price is in the range of HARDTOP vehicles, we can be a little flexible. Please be realistic. Ridiculously low offers, however, will not be considered. We are serious aboutselling this car - so please be serious about your offer. ALSO - please do not make frivolous offers. My acceptable price is definitely lower than my buy it now - but do not fool around and probe around typing in numbers to find my acceptable selling price and thereby 'accidentally' buy this car by mistake and ruin this auction. FEATURES:The Original Protect-O-Plate Indicates the Following:VIN Number: 1D67J2R562552Engine Code: TO325CKD - Tonawanda Engine, Build Date -March 25, 1972, 350 V8 175 H.P., 4 Barrel Engine with 350 Auto.Trans.Axle Code: CCH0811 - 2.73 Posi Rear EndCarb Code: C - Carter 4 bbl Transmission Code: Y2C18 - 350 Turbo Hydramatic, Built March 18, 1972Original Owner: Name Deleted for Privacy of Orig. Owner, Woodruff, South CarolinaPurchase Date: May 1, 1972 This car is a MATCHING NUMBERS 350 SS with Automatic Transmission. This car has been well kept and was repainted a number of years ago (I was told 5 years ago, but who knows.). The car shows well and is EXCELLENT “Driver Quality”. This car gets a ZILLION compliments and “Thumbs Up” every time its driven. You will NOT be anonymous driving this car. It really draws attention! Drive it the way it is and enjoy - or restore it for investment. IMPORTANT NOTE: As you view this car you’ll note that is NOT a show car. Before you rip it apart with negative criticism, please know that I’ve purposely left it in its present condition to enable me to offer it at a MUCH lower price and make it more affordable to a broader audience. Rest assured - this car is NO junker. Surprisingly a number of people have asked me I restored the car myself, or was it original. Its TRULY a GREAT LOOKING CAR - but It needs a new top and a good measure of detailing to bring it up to where is should be. When I bought this car I was planning on installing a whole bunch of options like Power Windows, Power Trunk Release, Firestone Wide Ovals, and every other option I could get my hands on. I was even planning on removing the engine to highly detail the engine bay, the engine, and the suspension. Had I accomplished all of the above, I would need to add thousands of extra dollars to the price of this car to get my money back out of it. It made better sense to me to sell it as it is - to enable a broader group of potential buyers the chance to afford a car like this. EXTERIOR: Factory Correct GM Code 65 Flame Orange (this is the original color of this car) Base Coat/Clear Coat with White D-88 SS Sport Stripes. Mostly Shines like a mirror - Body is VERY solid in very decent shape - No dents, but has a few small chips and paint anamolies. - NOT flawless perfect. Bottom line is - you can surely drive this car and be proud to be seen in it - but its NOT a “show” car. White convertible top needs replaced. Sadly the top has those common horizontal side stress tears between back window and side window. If it wasn’t for that - the top would be perfectly fine for a long while. The Power Top motor works Great. Factory SS wheels are nice. Trunk is very clean. Floor pan, Trunk pan and quarter panels are very nice. Exhaust system is original style and is in fine shape with correct SS exhaust tips. Has B.F. Goodrich T/A’s which have plenty of tread on them. INTERIOR: Very decent condition. White A-52 Bench seat interior with column shift automatic. Original dash in excellent condition. A/C vents and plastic chrome trim has faded. Car has full SS instrument gauges. Former owner opted to install aftermarket gauge cluster below the dash to benefit from receiving more info like Oil Pressure which is not shown on the original gauges. This was on my list to restore to original. Car has the Original SS sport wheel. Odometer reads 87,000 which I was told is original mileage - but can't prove it. Door panels were newly replaced when I bought the car. Carpet is original but a bit sun bleached. Front seat belts are white which is not correct. The black originals are in a box in the trunk. It was that way when I bought it. The Convertible Top motor works with no problems. DRIVETRAIN: Original Matching Numbers 350 Engine and really runs GREAT. Transmission shifts perfectly fine. Car steers straight and true. I’ve driven the car for hours in 100 degree heat and it has no problems. This SS is equipped with a brand new CORRECT rebuilt Carter 4 barrel carburetor. I even managed to acquire one with the correct date code range. The Protect-O-Plate stipulates that the car had a Carter Carb and not aRochester. Therefore I tracked down a Carter Carb and replaced the Edelbrock which had no business being there. Car has the Factory Cruise Control Option which is presently disconnected. Not sure if it will work or not when is reconnected. Its a RARE option worth keeping. Under the hood is largely untouched. It even has a number of the correct tower clamps still in use. Frankly, it doesn’t look like the engine has ever been out of the car. It runs great and doesn’t smoke, so I figure - “If its not broke, don’t fix it.” Engine compartment, drivetrain, and suspension shows the typical dirt and wear from semi regular use. Everything is solid and no rust - but its not pretty. This car is equipped with Factory Air Conditioning. The system the original R-12 system. The compressor spins when you turn it on. However, It doesn’t blow cold air. Some seals are probably gone; and/or the system needs to be recharged. I haven’t messed with it beyond that. I have tried to be forthright and as detailed as possible to enable you to see the true condition of this vehicle. I don't like complaints and I'm sure you don't like surprises. See the NADA Guide for current value. I have priced the car WAY below what I feel it is worth. I have factored in all imperfections and wear into my price. It is what it is. The pictures speak for themselves. Its not a show car but its also not priced like a show car either. ($50,000 or above as shown on NADA)Bottom line - this is a VERY NICE CAR that is NICELY EQUIPPED, ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS SS CONVERTIBLE for an affordable price. 69 chevelle SS 3964spd. Selling a true muscle car that has been of the road for quite some time. This car is numbers matching with a 12 bolt posi rear end. Believed to have a 350hp 396 but not sure, what is sure is that it is original to the car. Second time listing and this time i have found some parts that where thought to have been sold. Looks like the chevelle is pretty much complete but is missing a windshield and gauges. Rust repair is needed on the floors and some around the rear and front window. The trunk floor looks fair with no rust through holes, just surface rust. No doubt that a total restoration is needed but most if not all of the parts can be saved and reused. Rare burnished brown with a white vinyl top. After first listing a bidder asked if i could check for the build sheet under the gas tank, but i was not able to get under there and remove the tank, screws almost broke. If the screws brake then i would just have to throw the big gas tank inside the car so i just left it for the new owner to check for. built in fremont california and been a california car. Will be sold with different wheels. The engine compartment looks to be 100% complete with nothing missing. Front bumper is usable and so is the grille. All glass is in good shape (missing windshield). Wire harness is not hacked and looks very good. Doors look solid. Selling for a relative who is the second owner. let me know if you have questions. Someone please restore her, she needs a new life!

True SS 138 Code Chevelle Convertible. Factory Black Car (Paint Code A1) with untouched trim tag that is original to the car. Numbers matching 350 HP 396 Big Block. The stamp pad on the block is original with correct broach marks and never re-stamped. Factory A/C, factory tachometer (works), power steering and power brakes. Solid and Rust Free. All original floor and trunk pans. The paint is beautiful and the interior is very clean and looks fresh. Many original and correct parts on this rare beauty. If you are looking for a very correct and well optioned Chevelle SS Convertible, then this is the car for you. The electric top is black with no tears and works and functions as it is supposed to. The only known issues with the vehicle is it does have factory AC and it does NOT work. I did not look into fixing it as I live on the beach and always use it as a convertible. The factory temperature gauge does NOT work. My mechanic installed a gauge below the radio counsel and the factory can be fixed, just never got around to it. Finally, there is a small scratch on the paint above the front passenger wheel well. It is only the paint and not ingrained into the body. You can hardly notice it.As with any 50 year old car, there are minimal pits and chips. Very Very minor for being 50 years old. Always garaged and always covered. This is an investment quality car that many Chevelles are cloned to be. This is the real deal at a reasonable price. 32K miles.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Restored, 2-Owner Super Sport with 502/Tremec 5-Speed Manual ......please be patient while the many photos load..... Stunning, Red 1970 Chevelle SS 396 for sale in Sonoma California. Originally a SS car with a recent 502/5-Speed conversion. (The conversion was recently completed and the original 396ci engine along with it's Muncie 4-speed may be available for purchase from the person that it was sold to at the time of the engine and transmission swap). This Chevelle was purchased from it's original owner just over 15 years ago with the original paint and interior. The car was rust free. There were two small dings that he said he addressed. Otherwise, this is the first repaint on this two-owner, totally rust-free Super Sport. This Chevelle SS is truly a thrill to drive! The car starts; runs and drives beautifully with great performance! Chevrolet 502/502 Deluxe and Tremec 5-Speed Manual Transmission. The engine is a fresh crate with aluminum heads, Headman headers, Be Cool aluminum radiator for excellent cooling and circulation. The shifting is fast and precise with a fresh Tremec 5-Speed manual with .65 overdrive top gear and gear starter. The rear-end is a 12 bolt posi-traction with 340 gears and Mosler steel axle with Jegs traction bars. The car rides on 15 inch Super Sport steel wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich radial T/A's. 295/50R 15's in the rear and 225/60R 15's upfront. All systems are in working order though the speedometer looks to need a new adapter to facilitate the new 5-speed transmission. We will take a look at this. The car looks stunning with smooth, glassy paint and excellent alignments. Chrome, trim, lenses, rubber, vinyl top and stainless all looks super clean. Super clean, comfortable interior with correct seat belts, newer seat covers and carpet, nice headliner, dash, panels and more. Great high-performance Chevelle SS ready to go anywhere you want to take it. Be sure to watch the video and see this performer in action! Asking price listed on our site. This listing will end the moment a reasonable offer is made. Available only at Left Coast Classics! Direct your inquiries to Donn 707-332-8331 .....because life's too short to drive the wrong car.... Up for consideration is this exceptional mild custom 1969 Chevelle SS. This vehicle has been frame off restored with no cut corners! The paint and body work is show quality and devoid of flaws or evidence of rust/rust repair. It is extremely clean! This Chevelle tastefully falls into the "resto-mod" category due to a host of non standard features, performance upgrades and custom touches. The paint is flawless black, and features unique, very subtle red metallic ghost SS stripes deep below the clear coat. Within the Ghost stripes are ghost flames, again, very subtle and only visible under certain lighting conditions. It is a very unique and trick paint job which has earned compliments from some of the best high end builders around. The power plant is a full roller 496 stroker big block chevy. The Engine is based off a GM block and has forged internals, Edlebrock Performer RPM polished aluminum heads, Edlebrock Performer RPM Airgap polished aluminum intake topped with Demon carb. Engine is dressed with polished high volume water pump, fabricated aluminum valve covers, super clean plumbing (all A/N fittings) super clean wiring. Firewall is shaved and filled for a very clean custom look. Exhaust is Headman Headers into 3" custom exhaust w/ x pipe cross over. Cooling system features a large aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. Fuel system is done right from the stainless steel tank to carb. All hoses and fittings are very cleanly installed, thoughtfully routed and up to the task of fueling this high performance engine. Electric pumps run to an Aeromotive pressure regulator, always meeting the fuel needs of this mill. Backing up the motor is a built TH400 w/ reverse manual valve body and a Gear Vendors over/under drive unit. This combo makes for a very drivable high performance car. The gear splitting allowed by the Gear Vendors makes for outstanding performance by keeping the motor in its power band, while the overdrive provides sane cruising condition for highway driving. Out back is a GM 12 Bolt rear with positraction. The Chassis of this Chevelle is fully built using the full kit from Global West. The front has tubular upper and lower control arms, high performance springs, QA1 shocks, sway bar etc. The rear is has adjustable upper control arms, Qa1 adjustable shocks, adjustable rear cross member braces, inflatable bags in the springs etc. The car is stopped by Hydro Boost assisted disc brakes on all four corners. 17" chrome ralley wheels. The custom interior has comfortable front bucket seats and rear bench. All of the interior is custom upholstered. Dash has custom gauges installed. Vintage Air A/C is very neatly installed and works great. Excellent stereo system. Trunk is custom upholstered as well. This is a very nice car, it has just over 3,000 miles on it since completion and is sorted out and able to provide really fun driving. I did not build this car but should be able to answer pretty much whatever you may need to know. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding/making an offer. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however I am willing to help with the logistics. I welcome inspection of this vehicle on my premises which is equipped with an automotive lift. A $1000 non refundable deposit is required within 24hrs of auction close.

Offered for sale is a gorgeous 1971 Chevelle SS. I bought the car a few years ago to go along with my 1970 Chevelle SS. Baby on the way, so one of them has to go to make room. I bought the car from a very reputable man in Florida who is a Chevelle aficionado. He restored the car about seven years ago and the restoration took nearly two years. Body was taken down to the bare metal where there was very little rust/ bondo to deal with. The car had been very well taken care of and never in an accident. Paint and body was done at a high-end shop in Miami and cost over $15,000 and it shows. Dupont multistage paint job- professionally wet sanded and show ready. Brand new white vinyl top is in perfect condition. Every piece of trim on this car is either new or professionally restored. All trim is free of dents and dings, polished or rechromed to perfect shine. New bumpers, 15 inch rally wheels and BFG Radial T/A's. The 350 was professionally rebuilt for just over $5k with a nice sporty cam, the transmission (T350) was overhauled, as well as the rear end. Custom mandril- bent exhaust with true X and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers… Sounds amazing. Interior is just as nice as the exterior and underside of the car. Every piece of interior has been professionally restored/ replaced. Originally a bench seat, column shift car with all new white upholstery, new door panels, headliner, everything! Spent $4K on the dash alone- all new dash, every piece.. all new gauges, lenses, steering wheel, etc. A 9.5 car inside and out. Factory AC car and it blows ice cold. Car has power windows and door locks- not sure if it came from the factory that way, but looks 100% correct. All glass is in excellent condition with no scratches or nicks. During the time I have had this car, I took it to six shows- its won it's class every time. Trailered it out to Scottsdale in March and won "Best Chevelle" and "People's Choice." The color combo is truly striking, so if you don't like people chatting your ear off at the gas station or giving you thumbs up as you drive, this is not the car for you- certainly not understated. All restoration and service on the car has been done at Sparks Performance in San Juan Capistrano, California. If you are not familiar with them, they are one of the most well respected and reputable classic car restoration shops on the West Coast. Thousands of dollars in recents are available upon request. This car is not only a show winner, but very dependable and drivable. I've had the privilege of privately owning over 20 GM muscle cars in my life and I would dare anyone to find another 1971 Chevelle that is a better driver. Most people would only trailer this car, that's how nice it is- but I enjoy cruising in them far too much to do that. I do not have a build- sheet for this car, and it is impossible to prove it to be a real factory SS without it. However, the guy I bought it from new the original owner and he swore that it was an SS from the factory. With his extensive collection and respect in the industry, I have no reason to doubt him. However, without a build sheet, I will be offering the car at a price that would be more fitting to a very correct and outstandingly built SS tribute. There is well over $60,000 invested in this car and though selling it to make more room for a growing family is the most responsible thing to do, I'm not giving this car away. For someone who knows what this car is, appreciates quality and understands the time and money involved in a restoration of this caliber, the car is a very, very good deal. I will not deal with flippers, wholesalers or international buyers. After all the love and time that has gone into this car, finding it a good owner is more important to me than the dollar figure. Serious buyers only please. No negative feedback. For questions, feel free to call me direct: Clay @ 9four9 2three3 four6seven7 PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE ADDITIONAL VIDEO LINKS BELOW Exterior & Interior: https://youtu.be/jk_3-DQgsKM Engine: https://youtu.be/RLL84287wbg

Here for your consideration is our 1972 CHEVELLE SS 350 CONVERTIBLE. YES, ITS A REAL SS MATCHING NUMBERS CAR! I have the ORIGINAL Protect-O-Plate but I do NOT have the window sticker. I haven’t torn the car apart to find the build sheet. It may or may not be there. REASON WE ARE SELLING: We have WAY too many cars (14) - and need to “Thin the Herd” We've had alot of interesting communications and offers regarding this car during our recent auction. Although the offers were getting close - they didn't quite make it. We are "cutting to the chase", as they say and offering this car with a very low "Buy it Now" price - or we will entertain reasonable close offers. This car is a MATCHING NUMBERS 350 SS with Automatic Transmission. The Original Protect-O-Plate Indicates the Following: VIN Number: 1D67J2R562552 Engine Code: TO325CKD - Tonawanda Engine, Build Date -March 25, 1972, 350 V8 175 H.P., 4 Barrel Engine with 350 Auto.Trans. Axle Code: CCH0811 - 2.73 Posi Rear End Carb Code: C - Carter 4 bbl Transmission Code: Y2C18 - 350 Turbo Hydramatic, Built March 18, 1972 Original Owner: Name Deleted for Privacy of Orig. Owner, Woodruff, South Carolina Purchase Date: May 1, 1972 IMPORTANT NOTE: As you view this car you’ll note that is NOT a show car. The Protect-O-Plate stipulates that the car had a Carter Carb and not a Rochester. ($50,000 or above as shown on NADA) Bottom line - this is a VERY NICE CAR that is NICELY EQUIPPED, ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS SS CONVERTIBLE for an affordable price. Car will be released ONLY after ALL funds have cleared BUYER's account and are fully available to me in my I forgot to mention an obscure fact that makes is easier to prove true 1972 SS authenticity. The instrument panel of 72 SS Chevelles. have circular gauges; (same as 70 & 71), but it's not widely known that 1972 SS Chevelles have a "Fasten Seat Belt" light which appears as a small horizontal round corner light located below the heater controls to the right of the radio controls. Reproduction dashes designed to fit 70-72 do NOT have the seat belt light opening. Although the panel has lost the shiny chrome luster on its edges, This particular car HAS the correct circular gauges WITH the correct seat belt light only used on 1972 Chevelles, and a few late production 1971's. Hope this info helps anyone contemplating purchasing this vehicle.
