For sale in the Houston showroom is one gorgeous Deluxe, the 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe. The Chevrolet Deluxe had its introduction late in the 1941 model year as a 4-door sedan. In 1942 a fastback 2-door \"aerosedan\" became an option and more people seemed to be drawn to that. Production was indefinitely delayed in 1942 due to WWII, after Chevrolet had produced 110,000 total. 1948 was the rebirth of the Chevrolets famed Deluxe Style line and in 1949 these car caught a whole new look. Sharper, more chrome, sportier and just an all around great car. Equipped with a 216 C.I.D Inline 6 cylinder that produced 92 horsepower. More than enough to get this old timer on down the road. Backing the hearty little engine is a 3 speed manual also known as the 3 on the tree referring to the shifting the transmission manually by the shifter on the steering column. The Monte Carlo SS Jeff Gordon Signature Edition for sale included Hendrick Motorsports graphics on the rocker panels and door sills. A Galaxy Silver \'Monte Carlo\' windshield header and \'Team Monte Carlo\' decal was shipped with the vehicle, allowing die-hard fans to further customize their vehicle if they desire. Adding to the exterior on this SS for sale are Galaxy Silver flames on the hood, front fenders and doors. Jeff Gordon\'s trademark signature is displayed on the sail panel and deck lid. His well-known NASCAR number \'24\' is prominently featured on the front license plate close-out panel, the sail panels, embroidered on the headrests and this one came with his signed numbers on the doors! To celebrate, Camaro was chosen to pace the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in August of 1996. This beauty is painted just like the official pace car, Arctic White with Hugger Orange heritage stripes. This was similar to the Indy 500 pace car of 1969. A special white and black hounds tooth interior was featured, part of Camaro\'s early heritage. A total of 4,534 of these anniversary models were built. Of that number, only 1,497 had the six-speed manual transmission in a coupe/t-top. The body lines create an arrow shape which makes for astonishingly low drag coefficient. Pop the hood to see the original, numbers matching LT-1 engine. This 5.7 liter was rated at 285 hp from the factory and is backed by a T-56 manual transmission. Grab a hold of the Hurst short-throw shifter and bang through all 6 gears as you cruise down the road. Following this is a stock 10-bolt rear end with 3.42 gears. This Camaro is a Carfax certified 1-owner car. There were a few different body styles produced including 2 and 4 door sedans, 2 and 4 door coupes, convertibles, and 2 and 4 door station wagons. The \"Tri-Five\" station wagons have become very popular over the years for collectors and enthusiast alike, especially ones restored to the level as this one has.This awesome \'56 210 Handyman Wagon underwent an extensive 5 year restoration that was built to keep the classic styling yet add new technology for reliability and performance. Everything on this car was either replaced, refinished, or upgraded and the workmanship is unremarkable. As many original parts were used as possible including all the stainless trim and chrome parts. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon is powered by its Fuel Injected 5.3L Vortec V8 engine, backed by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, running to a single-pull rear end with 3.70 gears. The 5.3L V8 has a LS1 intake plenum added along with Sanderson Headers running out to a dual stainless steel exhaust system that sounds absolutely amazing.
