THANK YOU.1997 Chevrolet Camaro w/ 859 miles -- $14,900.00Introduction Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars and trucks I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 15 years of classic car and truck experience. I’d like to put that experience to work for you. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 300 classic cars and trucks. I own the entire inventory and know each vehicle well. I don’t offer consignments but will occasionally list a vehicle for a family member or friend. I currently sell 90% of my classic cars and trucks privately on various websites and 10% of my classic cars and trucks at the Barrett Jackson auto auctions. I’ve had many vehicles sell in the top 25 highest sale priced vehicles at multiple Barrett Jackson auctions. They’ve also offered some of my cars as the “Marc Schiliro Collection”. I was fortunate to have Speed TV at my new facility for an interview for Barrett Jackson that aired during the Barrett Jackson auto auction in Palm Beach 2012. I’ve also featured many classic cars and trucks at multiple different auctions across the United States. I also have had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I specialize in beautiful classic cars and trucks that have what I call “The Pop Factor”. I purchase classic cars and trucks that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish. However, currently I’m not doing full restorations as it takes too much time and money. I love what I do and I’m extremely passionate about it! I opened the new facility located in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 2012. MS CLASSIC CARS is closed to the public but available by appointment Monday-Friday. We offer about 25 classic cars and trucks for sale between the current inventory and coming soon page. We also offer complete automotive detailing. Our facility is very neat and organized. When you call you deal directly with me. I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll consider all trades. If you’d like to be added to the MS CLASSIC CARS VIP EMAIL BLAST that gets sent to thousands of people when we get a new addition please visit my website and sign up. Please also like MS CLASSIC CARS on Facebook for updates. The power of networking is amazing! MarketI've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only at the auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially the classics! I've learned it's not just the United States; it’s the entire world. Barrett Jackson stated, "Foreigners can sometimes represent 25% of the registered bidders at one of our auctions." At the Barrett Jackson in Scottsdale, AZ 2011 they stated, "There was a registered bidder from every state in the USA.” I've also learned that no matter the gender or age, all different people appreciate this hobby. Another example would be the Barrett Jackson auto auctions; not only do millions of people watch it live on the Speed Channel but hundreds of thousands of people attend these auctions. Every year the attendance of visitors at the event and number of viewers on T.V. increase. Over the years I've noticed that the extremely detailed classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Currently the overall market is on the raise once again. Certain classic cars are on the rise and others are on the decline. Typically, the classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people don't own. In other words, there are classic cars that haven't saturated the market. The cars that are at every car show and auction and page on the Internet for sale are the ones that aren't changing in value or are slowly on the decline. Of course, if the car is spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. It's all about supply and demand, not a good or bad economy. Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character. I’m just a 39 year old blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz. I was selling my classic cars and trucks part time. Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have a facility that was open to the public. Overall things were going just fine. However, my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership. I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership. I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen and now have a lot more overhead. The bottom line is I went all in. Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong? “I’m putting my money where my mouth is” Marc Schiliro – The Owner Description1997 Chevrolet Camaro 5-speed w/ 859 miles ATTENTION FOURTH GENERATION CAMARO COLLECTORS AND ENTHUSIASTS! MS CLASSIC CARS COMPLETED A CLASSIC CAR DETAIL VALUED AT $500.00! You’re about to witness a very unique fourth generation Camaro. Most of the fourth generation Camaros on the internet for sale with extremely low miles are Z28’s. Over the years collectors and enthusiasts put them away with expectations of high values down the road. The less expensive models were used and most of them are long gone or have really high mileage. This 1997 Camaro doesn’t only have 859 original miles but it’s got a great color combination and a 5-speed. This is a great opportunity to get into a 18 year Camaro with very low mileage for a reasonable price range. As the clean Car Fax report and original selling dealership paperwork indicates this car was sold new at Bob Howard Chevrolet located in Oklahoma City, OK. It was purchased on 09-15-1997 by a customer was from Goddard, KS. The vehicle had 4 miles at time of delivery. This customer owned the car for over 13 years. It was sold to Ken Stansberry on 12-12 2010 who lived in Wichita, KS. He purchased the car with 360 miles. He serviced the car at Don Hattan Chevrolet on 04-20-2011 and the odometer reading was 739 miles. As the service records indicate he drove the car a total of 379 miles in a four month period. He then sold it to a dealer at an auction in Missouri on 04-25-2011. It appears the dealer sold it to another dealer at an auction on 05-24-2011 with 777 miles. The dealer titled the car for an auction in Scottsdale, Arizona and had it inspected in Costa Mesa, California. On 06-23-2011 it sold at auction with 779 miles. It was purchased by my good friend and business associate that lives in Nebraska. He has a dealer’s license and kept the car stored in his collection for roughly the last four years. He informed me he wanted to sell the car so I decided to purchase it. Included with the sale of the car includes the original pre-delivery inspection forms, registration papers from the second owner, service record from the second owner and the recent Car Fax report. Also included is the original owner’s manuals, dealership owner’s manual folders, business cards, license plate with frame, emblems and key chains. The exterior of this car is very nice condition with only minor imperfections that you’d find on most 18 year vehicles. If you call I could go over them in more detail. The factory red paint has been buffed to a show quality shine. This car has great bodylines that really flow nicely. It sits on four brand new Goodyear Eagle Sport tires that were put on during the MS CLASSIC CARS service. The original Goodyear Eagle tires that are 215-60-16 are included with the sale. The interior of this car is also in excellent condition and looks amazing. It still has the new car smell. It’s equipped with air conditioning and some other nice features. Please note this car isn’t loaded with options such as power windows. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and home to the 3.8L V6 engine. The entire engine compartment is in amazing condition. All the rubber looks great and none of the parts are showing signs of age like in most 18+ years old vehicles. It still retains all the factory chalk marks and stickers. The engine runs great and has plenty of power to enjoy especially with the 5-speed transmission. This is a car that the new owner could enjoy taking to car shows and also driving on the weekends, etc. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed. It shows no signs of any issues. It still retains all the factory chalk marks and stickers. How many 18+ year old cars look like this underneath? This car was obviously maintained over its life and handled with TLC. MS CLASSIC CARS FULLY serviced this vehicle totaling over $3000.00 in maintence. Some items include a full inspection, changing the oil and filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, draining all the fuel and adding new fuel, replace bushings, replace seals, recharge ac system and four brand new tires. We kept the original tires that will stay with the car. MS CLASSIC CARS also completely detailed the entire car from top to bottom. “As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold many Camaro’s of different generations over the years. I’ve seen, collected and sold many fourth generation Camaros but never a V6 5-speed with less than 1000 miles like this one. This Camaro only has 859 original miles! It’s got great history with documentation including a clean Car Fax report. This is the perfect car for someone who’s looking for a rare low mileage show quality car that they can enjoy at an affordable price range. With the prices of extremely low mileage Z28’s going up this is a perfect opportunity to capitalize on an RS with extremely low mileage before it also goes up. Get it before someone else does!” Marc Schiliro – the owner Inspection ReportUnfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers and private parties aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. At MS CLASSIC CARS I own the entire inventory and take pride in what I sell. I'm not a consignment dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck on a vehicle that they don't even own. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. They never even touched the vehicle. Even with 15+ years’ experience and having collected and sold over 300 classic vehicles I’ve experienced that all the classic vehicles need some attention. Obviously some need more than others but the bottom line is they all need something. I do the best of our ability to purchase quality classic vehicles, prepare them and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I collect and sell classic vehicles that have already been restored and do our best to bring them to another level with service and detail work. Unlike many dealers when you call or email to inquire about a classic vehicle you speak directly to me. I purchase all the classic vehicles for MS CLASSIC CARS, follow the service and detail process, write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I knows about it. I'll also give you my personal opinion about the classic vehicle of your choice and decide if it’s truly the right fit for you. If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. These are older vehicles and aren’t new but were doing our best to make them function, look great and honestly describe them. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I’m currently selling 80% of my vehicles within 30 days of listing them for sale. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I'll also assist in enclosed door to door transportation. I look forward to working with you. Please read my testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity!
