For sale is my 1996 Impala SS. The car is in beautiful condition inside and out. I purchased this particular vehicle from its original owner. The car was located in Greenlawn, New York. The car was meticulously maintained and always garage kept. The vehicle has never been driven in the winter months through salt, sand, and or snow. The undercarriage and engine compartment are proof of that statement. The seats have no cracks or tears. No dents in the body panels. All glass minus the windshield is all factory installed glass. I have had some parts installed on the car and other things done as well which are as follows:-Eibach lowering springs. They bring the center of gravity a bit lower which help the handling substantially. -Bilstein shocks on all 4 corners. I read and researched a lot and made my decision based on my research. The bilstein a are the most expensive but worth every penny. The original decarbon shocks were still working but in my opion, they are junk!-New pads and rotors all around. New sway bar end links up front. New wheel bearings front and rear and rear axle seals as well. The car sat since 2009 and I just wanted to freshen them up a bit-I removed the mufflers and resonators and put in 2 stainless steel glass packs for some sound. It's not very loud but makes a nice rumble. I have the original exhaust parts just in case. -3C Fab rear upper/lower control arms made from cnc'd aluminum. If you are familiar with this body style, you will know the rear tires sit far forward on the wheel well. The lowers are extended 5/8 of an inch which corrects that issue (mostly cosmetic) and the uppers I went for the most expensive, fully adjustable to maintain correct opinion angle in the drive shaft. I also did all new urethane bushings. These bars also don't have the five of the cheap stamped steel oem bars. Helps the car handle much better. -Oil replaced with Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil and the rear end fluid was also done. -40% legal window tint. (Mass Law). Not dark at all. Just gives the vehicle a lil more attitude. The tires on this vehicle are from 2001. They are in excellent shape. This vehicle was never abused. I've had it on the lift and I've gone through it thoroughly. I have a folder from the original owner of all service records and slips from the dealer. I also have the tile in hand. I hate to sell but don't have time for it and I hate seeing it sit in my garage when someone could be enjoying it. I really need an other truck as well so trades also welcome. Unique Cool old car. 1969 Chevrolet Caprice with a 5 speed!!!!, Rust free southern car that appears completely factory w/ a professionally installed T5 5 speed transmission. Uses factory pedals and linkages, looks and works as expected, except the bonus of over drive, cruises at 70 mph at only 2400 rpm, helping it get over 20 MPGs on my last run. Car is completely rebuilt end to end, including all brakes, lines, hoses, engine, trans, posi 12 bolt rear, added sway bars and rally wheels with new tires, interior is very good original condition, some water spotting on fabric of seats and a small hole on the drivers bottom section near sear back, I didn't even notice until I was taking pictures to list, rug has one wear spot near the drivers door sill plate, other wise excellent, head liner perfect, dash perfect NO CRACKS, car has been repainted a darker green than original but has had no rust repair ever on the body, floors or trunk. Small depression/dent over right rear wheel well lip, looks like it was there before paint, you can see it at the right angle, see the picture, Frame is perfect. Body has a few chips and bubbles (not rust)over the left rear wheel well. Vinyl top is perfect with not a bubble of seam defect. Runs and drives perfect, odometer reads 25k miles which I am sure are not true miles, probably 125k. Trunk is excellent and cavernous!, Chrome is very good, one scuff on left edge of rear bumper, Engine is a 350 4bbl V8 with plenty of power, no smoke, no leaks, no noises. This is a clean, perfect driving cruise any where car for 1/2 the price of a Chevelle or Camaro.

This car has had an extensive "Frame Off" restoration, and there is no rust anywhere on this car. It has a 327 V8 motor, Automatic Transmission (cast iron 2 speed Powerglide) and Power Steering. The frame, entire body and all panels, hood, trunk lid, doors, and many small parts were all media blasted. The frame and suspension parts were painted black with epoxy primer. The body and all body parts were sprayed with self etching primer, and then it went to the welding shop for all the metal repair including floor pans, trunk pans, and many other panel repairs. From there it went to the paint shop, and then back to me for re-assembly. I have been at this hobby for some time, and this car came out nice. The car runs great, everything works and needs nothing to be thoroughly enjoyed right now. This car is a real SS, (check the VIN) but I restored this car with some minor cosmetic changes that represent the way I always thought a 62 Impala SS Convertible should look. That is why I call it a "mild custom" and I hope you will agree. I remember being at a car show quite some time ago, and side by side there was a 62 Impala Convertible, and a 62 Belair 2 door. I noticed how much better I thought the Belair looked with the tail lights just sitting in the paint, rather than having that large aluminum tail pan. I also thought the dashboard looked better in the Belair, with its gauges just sitting in the paint, rather than having that aluminum trim piece that normally goes behind the gauges. (I also added the Belair thin dash trim that goes under the gauges.) Also, in 1962, the Impala had the Hot/Cold temperature lights instead of a gauge, but I installed an actual temperature gauge that came stock in the 1961 Impala. The aluminum trim that runs along the side of the car has red inserts, rather than the SS silver inserts. The car has been painted with urethane base coat / clear coat, (the best), and the color is 2010 Hyundai Cotton White, (a nice vintage white for a nice vintage convertible). If your curious you can go to a Hyundai dealer and see the color on a car. ( I only say this because I must have drove to 10 dealerships before I decided on this color!). The dash, and all red metal parts have been painted 2010 Ford Bright Red (code E-4). When I ordered the new interior, I told them not to put in that ugly silver piping that comes with the SS, red piping is there instead. The car has new tuxedo carpet and new door panels and nice red seat belts, front and rear. I have installed a nice set of vintage 14 inch Crager Mags, which look much better than the 1962 wheel covers. The results are what you see in the photos. I know this is my opinion, but the car looks incredible. The motor is a re-built (pistons .030 over) 327 V8, and the transmission is a rebuilt cast iron powerglide. The rear end is a rebuilt open carrier 3:08 ratio. All the suspension bushings have been replaced, and there are new rear springs. New gas tank. All new braking components, lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, shoes, drums turned and a dual line master cylinder for extra safety. The brakes work excellent and the car does not pull to either side when the brakes are applied. An external transmission cooler has been installed. All new single exhaust. A rebuilt Rochester 2 barrell carburetor gives this car great drivability and fuel economy. It goes down the road very smooth and quiet, and when you stop at a red light you would not think there is a motor in the car. Power steering works excellent. even the radio works, with both front and rear speakers. The top is new, with new hydraulic cylinders, but the top has some wrinkles from being in the down position most the time. All new weather-stripping. The car has a new red parade boot as well. I installed a new self regulating alternator, but a nice generator and new voltage regulator come with the car, and if you like I can re-install these if you want to bring the charging system back to original. The car is not perfect, the bumpers are of good driver quality and there are a couple of very minor dings in the paint and on some trim pieces, but this car looks and runs great. The car is currently registered and inspected, and I encourage anyone who is interested to come and see it. There are some extra parts that come with the car. This car has had so much work done, and so many new parts, I'm sure I am forgetting something.
