The RS "Split Bumper" package on this car is believed to be original from the factory due to determining factors such as factory drilled holes in the bumper, hidden windshield wipers, beefed-up support for the front bumper, etc. It is indeed a true Z28 car, which is verified by the VIN. It was a recent recipient of a professional restoration, which is clear in the finishing details and incredible curb appeal. The car not only looks amazing, but it drives just the same. The car is powered by a 350cid V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter. I have owned this car for the last 14 years and with much thought and consideration have decided to put the vehicle up for sale to see if there is any interest. The car started life as a bone stock 92rs with lo3 and automatic. The following is a description of the build. Engine: 2000 LS1 stock block New cleveite rod and main bearings Durbond Cam bearings. Resized rod caps with ARP 2000 bolts ARP main stud kit SLP timing chain and pump. Cartek Stage 2X Milled 243 heads with their camshaft Yella Tera 1.7 rockers. Ported FAST 92 with a Nick Williams 92 t-body. 98 corvette fuel rail with 38 pound injectors. Meziere Electric Street water pump SLP under drive Catch CanNitrous Outlet Steam Vent line kit Jet hot-coated hawks swap headers with coated y-pipe Hooker cat-back Electric cutout Drive Line 2001 Stock T56 with Spec clutch and a MGW Shifter. Drive shaft is aluminum 3.5 inch PST. The ecm mounts in the factory position on the passenger side lower dash area. All factory gauges work and were calibrated for the swap. Check engine light even works on the factory instrument cluster as it should. The ford 9 inch has a little whine to it at the 60 mph plus range. The air conditioning and heater hoses are not hooked up currently. The paint is in very good shape. I had the front hood stripes painted under the clear, also the fenders nose and doors were painted at that time. The rear quarters and rear deck lid have original paint. No rust, no dents. Z28 Front grille was installed. All the original 25th anniversary badges are on the car. Few rock chips behind the rear tires. The interior of the car is original, the seats, and carpet. The driver’s side seat foam is starting to show its age. The inside of the car is still very presentable of a 23-year-old car. No dash cracks. The car is a blast to drive. I don’t drive the car at all anymore, job, life; whatever it just sits and I can’t see hanging on to it anymore just to just look at. The car has gone 120 in the quarter. New battery. The tires are top of the line Cooper tires with less than 3,000 miles on them. The routine tune ups have been kept up since I owned it. Engine runs and starts great, new coolant pump, new crank sensor, new iridium plugs, no leaks except for the oil pan gasket and A/C compressor. High flow/reusable air filter. Interior in good condition, never been smoked in, as far as I know. Like I said some of the paint has faded and it is noticeable. Averages about 16 MPG. Drives great, if I didn't have other obligations I would have like to keep it.

I have a 1990 Camaro rs convertible that starts every time, runs and drives good. The top also goes down it is manual. The A/C blows cold, windows work and all lights work. This car was just driven on a 2 hour trip no issues, the exhaust is nearly gone and will need to be replaced, the engine was correctly upgraded to a 350 now as the 305 had a ton of miles on it. the body has some rust, no dents the interior is fairly clean with a couple tears in the seat and dash, the convertible top is presentable condition, this is cheap transportation you can fix the exhaust and drive as is or it would make a nice father son project to fully restore to pristine condition.
