Classic 1966 Chevy C 10 Custom Pick up Description: I am selling my beautiful 1966 Chevy C10 Custom cab truck. It is in very nice condition, not perfect like a show truck, just very nice original condition body wise. A very strong motor under the hood, good transmission, really good brakes, looks and runs great. This truck is not a show truck, it is a very clean usable pick up that runs and is used almost daily. But with a little more work you could make it into a show truck. The truck is has current plates and registration on it. I have clear title. Details: Of course over the years like almost all these trucks the motors and transmissions have been upgraded. Mine is no different, it has a strong Chevy 350 crate motor under the hood with a band new Carter AFB competition series four barrel carburetor setting on top with nice aluminum valve covers (Corvette Covers I think). Followed up by a brand new turbo 350 short tail transmission that was just rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago, of course I do have the paper work for the repairs. A power boaster was added to the brake system so the brakes are very good. The body is in excellent condition, one tiny rust spot along the driver door jam, and one on the bottom corner of the driver’s door. The truck is very strait no bondo or major dents. It has been repainted once in the past some time using the original color. Some work will be required on the clear coat because it is peeling on the hood (see photo 23). The bed is wooden and has been replaced, and is still in good condition. The tires do not have a lot of life left in them so replacing them would be something to consider down the road. The only mechanical issue that I would say the truck has is a little front end work is due on the driver’s side; the upper ball joint is in need of replacing in the future. According to my mechanic is it a $400.00 repair using quality parts. Other than that the truck is in great shape. It does have a nice aftermarket stereo installed that sounds good, all the lights, wiper, heater, and windows all function as they should. This is a very nice solid original 66 Chevy truck, with one of the most sought after colors on the market. Don’t miss out! For sale is a 1970 Chevy C10 Custom (Survivor). The mechanic who rebuilt the engine informed me that this is the original drivetrain. The newly rebuilt carborator is even original. The truck has new two tone metalic silver and grey paint, all new trim, new grill, custom rear bumper pan, new mirrors, rear tinted window, new bed liner, original Ralley wheels, stereo,new custom interior hand stitched by Julio Valdez at the world famous "Shop" in Los Angeles. The truck has the original three speed column shift (very rare), working factory AC, power steering, custom 2.5 inch dual exhaust. FENTON dual exhaust with muffler from Patricks Antique auto. MALLORY Electronic Ign. PERTRONIX coil new spark plugs and wires. POWERMASTER PowerGen Alt. engine is finished off with WAYNE finned valve cover and sidecover. MOONEYES remote oil filter. 3spd manual trans. Odometer reads 44,000 mi., however, the odometer only goes to 100,000 mi. and I'm sure it's turned over at least once. New radiator core. Runs cool, cruises smooth. Vehicle is lowered in front using drop spindles w/ power disc brakes. Rear is lowered w/ blocks and lowering springs. Frame is unnotched. BILSTEIN Shocks in front. 1964 GMC C-10 Patina Shop Truck....... Orginal running driving 64 gmc shop truck. Runs and drives great, I recently have put brand new white wall tires on it, Serviced the front brakes, the rear brakes have been replaced with new shoes drums and wheel cylinders. Just had a full tune up (oil change, wires, plugs, carb rebuild and new battery). The gas tank and sending unit were replaced as well. The truck has been all gone through mechanically and is very sound. The clutch , engine and trans all work great and have no issues. The interior in the truck was painted white and the gauge cluster was restored at the same time. All the warning lights , gas gauge and water temp gauge work. The seat was recently redone as well. 1969 Chevrolet C10 shop truck. The whole power train in the truck has been gone through. It has a 5.3 ls motor in it with 5k miles on it. The transmission has 1k on it and is a fully built th400. The suspension has all been gone through, power disc brakes, tie rods, coil springs, ball joints everything. All new exhaust , headers, mufflers and piping. I put a brand new grill shell off a 70 c10 on it .Its a great daily driver and a very solid mechanical truck. New door panels, carpet and gauges. The dash has not been cut or modified in anyway. Everything works as it should, lights , brake lights dash lights. The truck runs and drives great ive took it on 500 mile round trips with no problem at all.
