Up for bid is a black plate California short bed Fleet side c10. Here is your chance to own a truck that has made it all these years without being exposed to the elements. This truck spent its entire life in Bakersfield CA and it shows! There are not many out there like this these days. This truck retains all its original sheet metal. It has never had any metal work or panel replacement to the best of my knowledge. The latch chains were taken off that’s it. The bed has treated wood with diamond plate. All the rails are there if you want it to be original. It has a A/C unit but its not hooked up. Just never did anything with it. This is a 3 owner truck until earlier this year to best of my knowledge. The truck was painted eight years ago (so I’m told by the previous owner). I know it has been garaged for 7 of those years or had a cover on it. The cover comes with the truck. The truck has a new 350 crate motor (stock) from Summit Racing that runs great. Has a new edelbrock carburetor. The exhaust is dual Flowmaster and is new 2 ¼ it sounds amazing. The transmission is new. It’s a Tremic TKO 600 5 speed with the mid shift conversion and the 650 Hp yoke. The drive shaft has new u joints to.Has new rear bearings Has a new power steering kit installed. Has a new front disk brake kit installed. They were installed by my mechanic at Vintage Auto. The front end (parts) as well. Interior is nice and clean. There is some carpet glue that needs to be removed from the previous owner. The mat has some tears its original. The seat is in great shape. All the glass is original and the windows roll up and down nicely. The truck has working wipers, fuel gauge, temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, volt gauge, dash lights, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals. The speedometer is new. Some things do break. The doors open and close great. The truck has been gone through mechanically and has lots of new parts. The front end is basically new all the parts have been replaced with new. It fires right up and runs great through all five gears. Things it needs: Dome light, glue removed. I get compliments everywhere I go in this truck. It truly is a great truck inside and out.
