Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I bought the truck a year ago up north from me. The prior owner had been rebuilding the truck when the son needed funds for college. At the time it was ~80% complete with fresh paint and I finished putting it back together over the following year. I’ve lowered the truck and added 4 new BFG’s to round out the classic look on the rallies it’s sporting. The prior owner had reupholstered the bench seat and installed new carpet, so I replaced the dash pad due to typical cracking. I addressed the fact it was manual breaks and manual steering with all new power components. No rust issues/spots that I'm aware of. The truck get’s a lot of attention with head turns and/or interests. It’s a great truck and cruises nice (will put down some rubber !). Perfect for a father/son project or even a shop addition. I have parts that the prior owner gave me and a few extra bits from prior orders that I will include: (Aftermarket A/C (not installed), original spindles, rear hangers/shackles (so a 6” flip kit can be installed), C10 Custom Deluxe side fender badging, New body side molding, and a bunch of miscellaneous bits) Father/Son Project Items left to do; - Weather stripping between the cowl and hood,- Clear coat or re-spray (roof paint is thin showing orig. brown paint)- Window tint- Install radio antenna- Possible Gas tank – small quarter size patch- Use for A/C or patch prior A/C routing holes on passenger side at fire wall Motor: 1998 350 Vortec (recent rebuild: 30 over, rv cam, roller lifters), Holley 650, Moroso Oil Pan Transmission: Manual SM465, Hurst Shifter Milage: ~2500 on rebuilt motor Color: GM Greystone 213m (Original color was brown)Exhaust: FlowMaster knock-offs, dump before rear axle. 1972 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe (LWB): The most popular Chevrolet trucks with collectors are those built between 1967 and 1972. Several factors explain the collector popularity of these trucks. First, they're just damn good looking! To many, the lines of Chevy pickups in this styling series, particularly the 1969-1972 models, are a "classic" expression of what a pickup truck should look like. Second, with this series Chevrolet offered truly carlike interiors, complete with color-coordinated carpeting on the floor. Third, all power accessories once found only on cars were now available on light trucks. A pickup from this "Integrated Styling" series could be equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio - virtually any accessory you could find on a car. Forth, and perhaps best of all, with Chevrolet's all-coil spring suspension, pickups of this series offered a ride as smooth as that of a Chevy Bel Air sedan. Fifth, as an added bonus, Chevrolet equipped its light trucks with a range of engines and transmission options that was nearly as wide as could be found in any of the company's car lines. Buyers could fit their truck out for miserly fuel economy with a faithful six and three-speed transmission, or as an interstate cruiser with a high-powered V-8 and automatic transmission. This beautiful Chevy was recently purchased from it's previous owner here in Texas and arrived in impeccable mechanical and cosmetic condition. The factory original white and blue plaid Highlander interior really sets this truck apart from all others you will find. We have sold numerous 70-72 C10s over the last 10 years and can honestly say that this truck is in the top 3. Everything about the truck would lead you to believe it rolled off the assembly line less than a few years ago. There are no signs of rust or previous repair, the dash is uncut and all the panels line up perfectly. This truck checks all the boxes for what you want to find on a '72. As visible on the SPID tag, this is a nicely optioned Custom Deluxe that, with exception of the upgraded wood steering wheel and spray-in bedliner, is very factory original. This C10 needs nothing and we wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive it anywhere. It starts easily, shifts smoothly, stops like it should, and does great at highway speeds. Features and options include; 350 V8, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Factory A/C, Factory Delco AM Radio, Rubber Floor Mats, Owners Manual, Chrome Bumpers/Grill/Mirrors, Soft Ray Tinted Glass, Dual Exhaust, 15" Factory Wheels and thick 235/75 R15 White Wall Radial Tires!
