Up for auction as part of an estate is a 1955 Chevrolet Belair Convertible, one of the nicest you will find. I will try to describe the car as best as I can. The car has been in a private collection for over 20 yrs. The car was purchased from a local guy who had owned it for over 25 yrs but never put the car on the road. The story goes that he bought the car and stored it never driving it. Mr Miller bought the car and had it painted and kept it in his collection for the last 20yrs. The car is rust free and has never had any rust what so ever. the floors and trunk are perfect as you will see in the pictures. I'm not an expert but I believe the car still has it's original spare tire. The interior is completely original including the boot. You will never find one as nice as this, matching number 265 hp engine automatic transmission power brakes. The top works as it should.I have sold a least 50 cars from this estate, this being one of the nicest, please check my feedback. There are a couple of problems with the car that I should mention, as the transmission heats up it's a little sluggish on acceleration from a stop, after you take off there is no problem. The only other problems that I found as I drove the car was the radio did not work and it pulled to the left on heavy braking. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, the reserve is set to sell. (518)955-1256 Shipping is the buyers responsibility will ship over seas.On May-29-15 at 19:01:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of questions about the floors and body mounts, there has never been any rust or repairs on the floors or body mounts. The car was never restored it simply had a paint job about 13 years ago due to the original lacquer paint cracking. The car then was stored in a private collection. The car is well below book, this is an investment quality car and the reserve is not far off.
