Thank you for looking at my auction. Here is a one in a lifetime chance to own a piece of American Automotive History, What we have here is a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop, that has been disassembled and ready to be restored. This Bel Air has been tucked away for almost 45 years, It was originally customized by Henry Contreras, (Google Henry Contreras 1599 Chevrolet) In the late 50's. At Branson Auto Body in Artesia CA. Many of the things Henry to this Bel Air was Louver the hood, Added Mercury Pan as well as front and rear bumpers. The tail lights are custom from a 1956 Packard. The car is in very solid condition. There is a small spot of cancer on the drivers side rocker. The car has a clean California Title. The original motor and trans are available, But are not operational. This car appeared in many Hotrod magazines in the late 50's including.. Hot Rod 1957. Custom Rodder 1957. Styles 1959. any many more. the car is here in So, California. 56 CHEVY SOLD AS IS, 427 ENGINE DRIVABLE CAM SHAFT, EDELBROCK AIR GAP MANIFOLD, HOLLEY CARBURETOR RUNS GREAT. 400 TUBO TRANSMITION LIGHT SHIFT KIT . REAR END HAS 355 GEARS IN A 12 BOLT POSSI, TRACTION BARS. HAS SMALL LEAK IN REAR WHEEL CYLINDER, STEERING COLUMN RUBBER SLIPPED OUT BUT IS GOOD. GREAT DRIVER . HAS FULL GAUGE PACKAGE ALL GAUGES WORK PERFECT. TILT WHEEL HAS NON OPERATION BUT HAS CLEAN TITLE AND HAVE PINK. BODY IS ALL SOLID METAL , THREE SMALL CANCER PLACES , TWO UNDER REAR WINDOW SIZE OF QUARTER AND ONE ON RIGHT REAR FRONT QUARTER PANEL VERY SMALL. NO CANCER OR RUST UNDER CAR. SOLID BODY ALL AROUND. LEFT REAR WINDOW GLASS HAS CRACK.

Very solid very straight 57 bel air hard top. California car, Floors and trunk are rust free. Very little rust in most common areas (shown in pics) drip rails and around front and back glass very solid and rust free. No engine no trans, no interior. Missing body trim. All stainless on car is in great shape. Good bumpers. Previous owner covered car in house paint to preserve.
