The car was restored by the previous owner in 1994 which remained in his possession until just recently when he passed away. The car came from his estate. The body panels are solid and the fit is excellent. All the bright work is in excellent condition with brilliant shine. When the car completed its restoration it was certified in 1995 when it took the National Best in Class at the Poconos Raceway Split Rock Camaro Show. Since then it has been stored in a climate controlled garage and was maintained through the years. The vehicle still presents very well, and only minor imperfections have developed over time. The headlight doors work and function properly. All floors, trunk pan, subframes and sheet metal are all solid and in excellent condition. It's a racing motor. 4 core radiator estimated 525+hp. Trans Super T 10 2.43 first gear 411 gears original 12 bolt with first gear 2.43 it's like a 456 gear in first Traction bars and subframe connectors all bolted easily removed. There custom channeled subframe connectors they are steel plates welded together that fit over the subframe connector like a cover. It was then bolted that "channel" over the subframe connector. It's much beefier than just the subframe connector by itself. Everything else was either original or factory replacement OEM. No reproduction. The big block was installed in 1993 with the super T 10. Console with working gauges, hurst shifter, power top! Power brakes disc up front, power steering. Correct era bias ply tires add to the original look. I purchased this car in 2007, lucky for me at the height of all the prices. I'm not sure what it's worth but I'm starting it much, much lower than I paid for it, if you're interested feel free to make a reasonable offer. My plans for the car were to put a big block in it and then after more thought I realized that I'd want to drive it regularly so I purchased a 1998 Firebird convertible with an LS1,auto transmission and disc break rearend, (please see my other auction for this car that is also currently listed), with the intentions of creating of a very updated Pace Car that could and would be driven daily, after buying the car then I started buying parts but never got started. Eight years later my priorities are changing and this project just doesn't fit the equation anymore so my intentions are to recoup as much of my investment as possible. The parts pictured ARE NOT INCLUDED in this auction, neither is the 1998 trans Am, if the buyer wants the parts I will sell them for 50% of whatever they are selling for on eBay. What is included is this 1969 Pace Car and a title, oh the last seller, (not the person on the title), had a 350 engine stamped for the restoration of the car, he explained it is not the original motor but an exact duplicate for restoration purposes, it was included in my purchase so I took it, if the next owner wants it I will also include it. The last person that titled the car, (whose name it's currently titled in), purchased the car in 1975, (as stated on the title) and sold it in 1996 so the history is very short on the car with regards to ownership. There is some rust in the car but I wouldn't say it's a rusty car, a trunk pan has been installed in the car but is not finished, it does have rust in the floor and lower quarters but areas like the inner and outer wheelhouses are still white and have no rust at all. This is the only Camaro I've ever owned so no need to email me and wow me with your knowledge, anyone looking at this auction surely knows more than I.
