This car was in a garage since 86 so after purchasing it I had to replace the fuel tank and sending unit to get it running. I also removed the oil pan and replaced the oil pump as preventative maintenance. Car runs and drives well. I have been driving it four days a week for about a year now without any major issues . I noticed the odometer and trip gauge no longer change but the speedometer works fine. Four of the wing Windows are inop but the pass front works. I also replaced the radiator and had the water pump rebuilt. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and charged the ac with 134 A. The ac lasted about a month before seeping out the refrigerant. The heater works very well with no leaks. The car could use some paint because it looks like it had a cheap paint job done at one point in time and is beginning to come off. It has the hi lift Jack and original spare with metal cover. I also replaced all the headlights with new bulbs and replace all the brakes. It holds a salvage title but is very clean. No major rust and looks very good under the car . The power seat makes noise but doesn't move . Not Shure what is wrong. The wipers don't work and in not shure what it is. All the fuses look good. I replaced all four tires and painted the rims. It has all new spark plugs and wires. FRAME IS SOLID there's a little rust in the front rocker panels right behind the front tires (common place for 59 Cadillacs) some rust in one of the door skins. The car is not running been sitting since the 1980's it's missing the fender skirts the carburetor the hubcaps the radiator and condenser. Front windshield has a crack on the passenger side I can order a brand new windshields for $1000 These cars are rare with very low production numbers only 690 made! great party, concert, special night out car. arrive in style in the same model Cadillac that Gene Wilder and Clevon Williams exited in at the end of the classic movie "blazing Saddles"! car is in overall good condition, runs good. some of the "Fleetwood" letters are missing but new will be supplied to buyer. right front fender trim spear is missing but will be supplied. I don't want to install these items in case buyer chooses to repaint car. the letters are difficult to remove with attaching studs intact. the interior is pristine with black and silver brocade in back and black leather in front. trunk interior is perfect. new tires are installed. I would rate the paint condition at 80-85%.

You are viewing an original 1937 Cadillac V8 5 passenger 7509 Formal Sedan. This is another California "barn-find". According to the Cadillac Archives, this car was delivered new to Don Lee Cadillac in Los Angeles, California. This true survivor is missing very little including window crank and two cigar lighters. The interior is complete and original. The All the whistles and bells are present. According to the Archives report, the car was a special order. The car is equipped with a rear radio.. But "special order" status could be as little as the initials of the owner on the rear doors. The engine compartment is 100% complete including the air-cleaner and engine pans. This car starts and runs smoothly although a complete fuel, oil and coolant servicing is needed before touring. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly and without any distraction. The car has smoothly operating brakes without showing wear.. again, an inspection is needed. The engine is running from a small gas can. The condition of the tank and lines are "as found". The engine is out a 1941. This car was "hot wired" years ago and I would assume there is an ignition switch issue. The spares are in the wells as well as the complete covers. The windows operate without strain. The instrument panel is perfect.
