Up for sale is my 1963 Cadillac Fleetwood. I bought this beauty from a dealer in Austin, TX about 3 years ago. Went through everything I needed to get it registered here in California. I bought this as a wedding present for my wife and I. I imagined us cruising all over SoCal in this thing but shortly after we were married we got pregnant and now we have a 1 year old and unfortunately this isn't the best car for a pregnant wife or a baby (no seat belts back in 1963). I would love to see this thing go to somebody that is going to show her off often! She has always been garaged. Batteries always on the trickle charger and started regularly. She fires right up and drives fine. Here is my breakdown- Engine- Runs Strong- Fires right up- doesn't overheatBody is straight- there are no dents- All handles have been shaved and there are door poppers all the way around on a remotePaint- Probably a 8-9 out of 10- It has a small few chips / dings in it but you have to be right up on it to notice themLights- All headlights, taillights and turn signals are working good. Tires and wheels- Are all in great shape. She probably needs an alignment because she does pull a little bit to the right while drivingBrakes- The master cylinder was just rebuilt along with the 4 drum brakes. There are all 100% perfectWindows- They are all four automatic windows and they all work. There is a short somewhere that causes the passenger side to stop working every once in a while. Probably just a loose wire somewhere because it'll just go back to working after closing a door or driver her around. Interior- I would give it a 7-8 out of 10. The white interior is somewhat worn but still looks great. There are not rips or tears in it anywhere. There are a couple spots where it could be tucked back in but nothing really too bad. The wood grain is in good shape on the doors and center console. There are a couple spots where it seems to be warping. But again, you have to be right up on it to noticeThe original dash is in it but nothing on it is working besides the gas gauge. There is a center console that has been built for her with 2 speakers and a head unit. Its all works good. Looks like somebody before me might have had an amp and sub woofers in the truck because there are wires running back there but I never got that far with it. All in all this is a sweet ride. I would love to keep her but I really don't have the time to take her out and show her off. I have the pink slip in hand and registration is up to date. This is not a salvage title. We are listing this Cadillac, that must be sold, to settle an estate. It has only 90,000 miles on it. Incredibly it has only been driven 6,000 miles since 1998! The owners pampered it! It is in very nice condition. Everything works including A/C and heat, auto/delay headlights all windows, door locks and power seats function as they should. Always garaged. Never smoked in. The body is nearly perfect with no dents or dings. There are a few minor nicks in the paint, barely noticeable. The interior is very nice too. The seats and carpets show almost no wear. The dash and door panels are excellent. The headliner has a few saggy spots, due to age. The 4.1 L V8 engine runs excellent. It is so clean, under the hood, that you could literally eat off of the motor! I just had it smogged. The tags are good thru 12/2016. The battery is brand new. The tires and brakes are almost new. This is a one owner Cad. It was owned by an older couple who have both passed on. I do have a copy of the original title, that we just had to surrender, to remove it from their names, to clear the estate. I have the original owner's manuals etc and lots of documentation over the years. The estate administrator has set the price at $3500.00 or the highest offer near that amount. This is a 38 Cadillac 60 Special with a straight solid body. It has been stored indoors in a barn for many years. The interior floors and trunk floor look good. Body has only surface rust. Body is very straight and doors close well. I bought this car from a friend who said he had it running. I was told the engine was rebuilt. It will need a complete restoration. Definitely not driveable as is. I also.have the original radio, 3 extra hubcaps, 38 California plates, an extra front fender in excellent condition and many extra engine parts in the trunk. I have an old registration and I believe it came from Tulare California. I will add pics of the interior and engine when I can get them to download. The front and rear bumpers are rechromed and a lot of the small parts and handles have been rechromed also. There is a new wiring loom, wheel cyl kits, spark plugs, front bumper guards and various other new parts [see pics]. Will roll for loading. Will not start now. clear California title on non-op. This is considered a classic by CCCA. #1 condition is $68,000 and #5 condition is $8,160 in old car value guide This car comes with new parts and chrome. This car was in a garage since 86 so after purchasing it I had to replace the fuel tank and sending unit to get it running. I also removed the oil pan and replaced the oil pump as preventative maintenance. Car runs and drives well. I have been driving it four days a week for about a year now without any major issues . I noticed the odometer and trip gauge no longer change but the speedometer works fine. Four of the wing Windows are inop but the pass front works. I also replaced the radiator and had the water pump rebuilt. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and charged the ac with 134 A. The ac lasted about a month before seeping out the refrigerant. The heater works very well with no leaks. The car could use some paint because it looks like it had a cheap paint job done at one point in time and is beginning to come off. It has the hi lift Jack and original spare with metal cover. I also replaced all the headlights with new bulbs and replace all the brakes. It holds a salvage title but is very clean. No major rust and looks very good under the car . The power seat makes noise but doesn't move . Not Shure what is wrong. The wipers don't work and in not shure what it is. All the fuses look good. I replaced all four tires and painted the rims. It has all new spark plugs and wires.
