You are bidding on a SUPER CLEAN LOW MILEAGE 1985 CADILLAC SEVILLE that my father bought new in 1985. My Mom wanted it out of the garage in 2013 and I need to get it out of my garage in 2016. Most of its life was spent in North Carolina. It is in great shape and starts right up with a new battery. I had a new air conditioner put in it when it came to California. I also put in a new headliner and the installer of the headliner slightly cracked the windshield around the rear view mirror during this process. I haven't replaced the windshield or the tires since I got the car and have barely driven it. But I have had it serviced in order to pass the smog inspection tests here in California. My father owned 2 of these Sevilles and had them painted the exact same color. His first was a 1981 and my neighbor bought it from me and then sold it on eBay a year or so ago for around $2500 as it was not in as good of condition as this one. The reason I am going down memory lane is that my father swapped some of his favorite parts from the 1981 to the 1985. As you see there is the flying lady hood ornament he was thrilled to put on and this changed the grille requirements. So ... on this 85 there is an 81 hood grill top piece without the attaching long silver piece that divides the hood in half like on the 81's. I have this 1981 part in the trunk picture that I had intended to have installed when I got the hood ornament removed ... it is included in this auction. Also you will see that he has the 1981 side mirror that has the thermometer on it as well as the 1981 wheels. At one point he had a phone and you can see the antennae centered on the back windshield. The hood and trunk do not stay up when you open them and you have to hold them. Other than that I don't know of additional issues other than it needs a good hand wash. The INTERIOR is in INCREDIBLE SHAPE!!! The Engine works well and has no known issues.

Up for sale is an absolute one of a kind, historical custom Cadillac Seville San Remo convertible originally purchased new by the last reigning princess of Hawaii, Princess Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawananakoa of the House of Kawananakoa. This vehicle has the utmost in historical significance in every respect. It was purchased new from Ogner Motors in Los Angeles, Ca right at the beginning of 1980. It was used as her personal estate car to transport celebrities and dignitaries alike. This car has a fully documented 16k Original miles from new. The unique part of this car is not only it's royalty history, but it's documentation. I have never owned a car documented so well as this one. It comes with everything from the original purchase contract from Ogner, personally signed original checks for the purchase and every repair, copies of all bank statements, insurance paperwork, transport paperwork, receipts for repair and service, and the best of all... personal letters from Ms. Kawananakoa to her personal secretary, helpers, chauffeur, lawyers when she was suing Ogner and the Dealer in Hawaii over unacceptable repairs, The documentation is like a very complete biography of this car from the day it was new. The personal letters are priceless.. mostly unhappiness over issues with the car, repair shop (Shuman Carriage), staff, etc.. including the return letters from the staff, letters from staff to other staff, Letters to and from her attorneys, from Ogner motors directly, from the repair shop, etc... It is unbelievable.. There is more and more... Simply the best documentation anyone could ask for... and lots of royal stationary. The car itself is very original. Most of the original lacquer is in place, however there have been a couple of small repairs over the years.. done well, of course. The original finish does have some checking on the top surfaces, but still presents well. Very straight original body with maybe a small ding or 2. Nice filler panels. Original trim is very nice with some slight aging/pitting on the a couple of pieces of trim. Still very presentable and shiny. After all, it is from Hawaii.. The top was replaced about 20 years ago to the tune of $5K and is standing up well with only a couple of slight rub spots in the fabric right behind the windshield. Could use some selected weatherstripping replaced around the top and doors, but not bad. Very nice chrome bumpers and lights with a couple of small repaired cracks in the RH headlight bezel and possibly the LF bumper corner pushed toward the filler panel a little? maybe??. Very nice glass all around and nice plastic rear window that is still very usable. Power top car. Top working fine last opened, but have not tried since stored. Comes with the ORIGINAL leather parade boot/cover. Mechanically, she runs well. The fuel injection seems to work proper. The car drives well and has great power. Ice cold A/C and good heat. A very well maintained car and smooth driver. No major leaks or mechanical issues. The car was sold to a collector in Hawaii before our ownership. He had dual exhaust installed with custom mufflers and resonators. It has a very nice, deep sound to it. I believe it might need an alignment, but could be wrong on that. The complete brake system has been replaced/rebuilt in the last year with new master cyl., 4 new calipers, new pads, brake hoses, etc. the service has been brought up to date recently and the chassis lubed and inspected. The original and very rare factory small hub wire wheels are beautiful and retain their original matching GM center caps. There are 4 brand new tires and tubes and were balanced with weights on the inside. The engine wa replaced by Shuman Carriage in Hawaii... twice.... the paperwork is a bit interesting as to why and what happened to the first replacement. Needless to say, unhappiness ensued and another replacement engine was shipped overnight! at the cost of the shop to satisfy the Ms. K. What a mess for the shop... So, the engine was black when installed, not 1979 blue. The valve cover gaskets were replaced recently and a inspection revealed a "as-new" engine on the inside.. It looks as if it has no miles on it. The car came factory with air leveling suspension and it seems to function properly. New rear fuel lines and fuel filter were also recent. A very, very clean chassis showing a pampered 16K original miles.. This car was optioned with the Ultima interior. It is absolutely original and in very,very nice shape for it's age with only minor wear on the driver's seat. Some fading but that is to be expected. Very nice dash and trim. Carpet is nice and black but at some point they put a small patch on the floor of the driver's side. It is in the paperwork and is covered by the floor mat.. But looks good.. if you notice it under the mat. Upgraded Alpine stereo installed by previous owner sounds very nice. Some slight drying of the leather on the top of the rear seat but all in all, very supple and luxurious for a beautiful Italian interior. All in all, this has to be one of the rarest, best documented custom coach built Cadillac's in existence. This car is all original. One of 24 reported built, only a few in existence and in very private collector hands. Most in existence have had major restoration done. This one is ORIGINAL! As built. And you know they are only original once. This car is absolutely a top quality investment and a fabulous addition to the most astute of collections... I believe it is the only ROYALTY owned San Remo in existence. If you are looking for a blue chip collector investment, this is it. Ms. K paid $59,000.00 for this new in 1979! A museum piece for sure. Let's take this one for a spin. The door opening is fairly narrow for larger folks, but the super-light steering makes for easy cornering and handling around town. 1976 Cadillac Seville with original 69k miles ,white with black leather ,this car is in great condition as you can see in the pictures ,the interior looks the same way it came out of the show room back in 76 , this car is my daily driver and i am picky as hell so i have fixed everything on this car ,the whole Air Condition system is new and was done last December (R134) ice cold. Compressor ,filter drier,and everything else was replaced ,valve cover gasket has been changed ,new spark plugs, Distributor Cap and rotor,ignition wire set ,fuel filter ,thermostat ,and so on was done December of last year at 65k miles ,brand new front tires less than a month ago ,paint is very nice without any major scratches ,no dents ,only flaw in paint is the rear quarter that had a dent and was removed by Dent master ,vinyl top looks brand new as you can see ,it passed California Smog check by flying color ,how many of these can you find in this condition ?
