The A/C blows colder than any car I have ever owned, and the car doesn't use a drop of oil between changes, nor does it leak any. It recently passed smog with flying colors.The car has a salvage title because of a minor cosmetic accident a year ago. No mechanical or frame damage occurred, just minor damage to the hood, headlights and grill, all of which have been replaced with new factory parts and now the car looks like brand new. I can show you a picture of the damage if you are interested. You won't be disappointed with this classic and good-looking BMW. I'm only selling it because I inherited another car from my family. This is a 2003 BMW 540i ///M-Sport with the much desired 6 - speed manual transmission. BMW actually only imported 1265 of the ///M-Sport models in 2003 to North America. 2003 is the only year they were available in the US. Only 58 of these were the Topaz Blue and only 22 of those had the Tan or Sand Beige interior. I am not sure how many were 6 - speed versus automatic. This car has navigation as well as heated seats. The front seats have been upgraded to heated E38 18 way adjustable Sports Contour Seats. The rear differential has been upgraded to a 3.15 rear differential. This improves acceleration and overall performance with the manual transmission. I am putting this up for sale is I have too many cars in the garage. This is a very unique car, especially in this colour combination and with the recent upgrades.
