Number 2245 out of 4200. The car has 220K miles most of them have been on the highway. I have an entire book full of receipts and paperwork for all the maintenance, work and care that have been put to this car. I don't really want to sell it but with Christmas around the corner I can use the money. The car runs and drives like it should. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Hi All, I am sad to have to sell this awesome car. Its so much fun to drive, it runs great, no problems at all and has extremely low miles. I believe I am the second owner of this car and I have only owned it for about a month. I have come up with a great opportunity to return to school which is why I need to get rid of it (I'll be living in a city so no need for it) otherwise I'd keep it as long as I possibly could. The previous owner had the car as long as I know and he worked at the VW dealership the entire time. The car has had regular oil changes every 3k miles, and has only ever been filled with 93 octane fuel to my knowledge. There is an aftermarket cool air intake and cat-back exhaust, the car sounds awesome!! Also the previous owner had done some custom fabric on the ceiling of the car which looks pretty cool, you can see it in the pictures. The leather is in great shape, theres little odds and ends that that need a little touch up, the center console spring is a bit out of wack but its just small stuff like that, nothing major. The car is in great shape, visually and performance wise. Its so fun to drive and Im really kind of bummer I have to sell it. Hi everyone, up for sale is my 2006 GTI. It currently has about 96,000 miles on it but, the miles will go up slowly since I still use it. I have owned the car for about four years now and would like to sell it to buy a minivan for the family.There are no mechanical problems with my car whatsoever. Engine, turbo, clutch, brakes, etc... are all in great/excellent condition. Most of the recommended pre-maintenance/scheduled maintenance was done between 70k-85k miles. Some of these things include:Timing belt and water pump replacements-around 70kTune-up at around 78kClutch replacement-around 80k-Stock clutch (Manual transmission oil was also replaced).Brakes and rotors were changed at 85k-Stock brakes and rotorsFront axels changed at around 90kCabin Filter was recently changed (not so important, but it is done)Radiator was also replaced due to a small leak-Around 75k (did not have to but replaced it anyway)Synthetic Oil Change between every 3k-4.5k---Mobile 1 or Castrol (VW recommended one)Other than these the car has some after market parts installed.Some of these include:APR Stage 2 software3" down pipeAWE Cat-back ExhaustFront DifferentialK&N Intake-Filter was cleaned recentlyUpgraded DV (upgraded to the new-electronic one)Aftermarket IntercoolerDogbone MountBoost GaugeAftermarket Tail Lights (Euro)I have receipts for the major repairs such as clutch, timing belt, etc...
