The vehicle was rear-ended in the last couple weeks. The current mileage is 82,433. I drove the car home from the storage yard following the accident. It drives like a normal vehicle with the exception of the rear damages on account of the accident (please reference photos). The only know other known problem at the time is a check engine code for a vacuum leak. This has been a great vehicle for me.

Runs great low miles,no leaks,I bought to repair and resell, real busy these next few weeks so here you go.If shockingly no sale Ill fix the few things and relist in a few weeks for a whole lot more.I was told the water pump is leaking,I havent confirmed.I do know the rear left wheel abs sensor needs to be replaced and the airbag light is on and shows right front seatbelt ignitor bad...small common exhaust leak on the down pipe right off the manifold in the flex joint.....another easy repair..... So a waterpump and a few little things and you have a fairly low mile 5 speed bug that had only 2 previous owners,both women.Has some normal scuffs and scratches,only real damage is right rocker which is a common sight on these bugs.Interior is nice.A/C is cold heat is hot. Has real easy rolling manual windows which i love.4 real good tires.Keyless entry,One key with remote.Would be an easy drive home car but not with the leaking pump.Most likely original as is probably timing belt.No games or nonsense,worth every penny of the buy it now, low offers will be declined. ...trailer it home.Clear NY title in hand.Deposit due immediately at auction close. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Looks like it was a very light hit mainly to the high front hood/bumper and a light bump to the rear. Front and rear frame rails look straight. Most of the front cooling components look to be reusable and AC blows cold air. No suspension damage observed. All airbags are good. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Right quarter glass seems to be off its track. Soft top looks good and has good looking tires. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs good, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. We did notice a light kick on the transmission when the car is initially put into drive from park. We drove the car on a side street and all gears seemed to shift normal and did not notice any other kicks with the transmission. It might just need to be serviced with fresh oil. Overall should be a easy fixer with very light body work and not much parts needed. Many used parts available either here on ebay or at online junk yard website www.car-part.com. Looks like it was a light hit mainly to the right front near the right headlight area and a light bump to the rear. Front and rear frame rails look straight. Most of the front cooling components look to be reusable and AC blows cold air. No suspension damage observed. All airbags are good. Power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Right quarter glass seems to be off its track. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs good, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. We did notice a light kick on the transmission when the car is initially put into drive. We drove the car on a side street and all gears seemed to shift normal. I had the leased the car in Jan 2014, and have 15 monthly payments remaining with the option to buy the car at the end of the lease.
