Here is a late model Triumph TR6 date of production is July 1975 Although this is a California car it is the confirmation that not all Cali cars are rust free. The Triumph is very much complete with the exception of a few small items (driver side under front bumper turn signal light The Tool kit Window crank handle lever This car was left outside for over 20 years in a city near the beach I suppose the salt air took advantage of this British made car and the floor pans are the ones that suffered the most damage. Both front panels are virtually not existent There is a considerable amount of rust on the deck lid some on the bonnet and the windshield frame as well Doors have some rust on the corners towards the bottom. The frame looks solid throughout the whole car with the exception of the rear beams which they seem to have been affected. It is not a lot but there is rust. Needless to say if have never dealt with rust before and rust does not scare you this could be your ticket otherwise I would not embark into such a project This TR6 can be also considered as a valuable parts car. Engine turns over and although I was told the prefamously "it was running when parked" I made sure myself that the engine was easily turning by hand All gauges and controls are intact with the exception of the Volt-meter that has glass broken. Seats have been taken off the car to check the damage of the pans though seats are present and in decent condition Convertible top frame Front & rear taillights Side reflectors Spare wheel and tire plus the original jack and crank Front and rear bumper in nice condition one turn signal lens and bracket from the under side of the front bumper is missing (driver side) All four wheels with beauty rings and center caps are there. Original and sole driver side mirror has some pitting though glass is good. 1974 Triumph TR6, I have owned since 2011 from Scottsdale, Az. This car is mechanically superb and runs and drives exceptionally well with perfect road behavior and is pure fun to drive, all of the instruments are functioning correctly. The body appears very nice with normal gaps and some minors paint touch-up to some stone chips. This car has been garaged since mechanical restoration. 1976 TRIUMPH TR-6 ROADSTER This two owner restored as needed 1976 Triumph TR6 is a superbly kept and cared for example from the final year of TR6 production. This TR6 is factory correct Java Green with a black soft top and black interior. Never fully restored, this TR6 has been immaculately kept its whole life, benefitting from a professional trim-off repaint in its correct Java Green paint. The black vinyl interior showcases a well-preserved wood dash and bucket seats. Power comes from a 2.5 Liter inline-six engine under the hood that is paired with a proper 4-speed manual gearbox. The car was delivered new in San Jose, California and remained with its original owner, who later moved to Monterey, until 2004 when he sold it to the second owner, also in California. I purchased it at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2015 car auction. Included with the purchase are copies of the original title and 2003 California registration renewal, both in the same owner’s name, various receipts, owner’s manual, and original factory sales brochure, two sets of keys, and an assortment of TR6 information. Also included in print form will be an assortment of photographs, as well as a CD with all the photos that were used for this listing. Odometer is at 27,635 but titled is listed as "Exempt”.
