Offering a 1969 Triumph Spitfire. Have had this car for 7-8 years and it was garage kept for almost all of that time. Car ran well until it was involved in a small collision. As a result of the collision, the motor mounts, gear box mounts, and a good deal of the electrical wiring had to be replaced. During that time the distributor was upgraded to an electronic ignition and the coil was also upgraded. The carburetors were recently rebuilt and the head gasket was also replaced as a preventative measure. The front hood (bonnet) had to be replaced and has currently been fit to the car, but needs to be adjusted and painted. It looks like the speedometer was replaced by the previous owner so the millage is likely inaccurate. The front bumper also needs to be reshaped. The driver's side door was dented on the one day it was parked on the street. The car runs well now, but definitely needs a tune up before it can really be driven. This car is terrifically fun to drive, and makes driving on twisting back roads an adventure. It is a great car as is, but it can be a wonderful platform for upgrades. There are numerous Triumph forums around the internet that detail the many upgrades that are possible. Included with the car are a good number of extra parts that can be used as replacements as necessary.
