Up for auction is a 1969 Triumph Spitfire MkIII. He's owned the car since 2000. He purchased the car in the Pittsburgh area and drove it home in its present condition. The car was driven right into the barn and has been there ever since. Will make someone a nice winter project. PA title is clear (odometer may not be accurate). Since I haven't pulled it out of the barn yet, I really can't tell you much about its present condtion. Sitting next to the 66 (green) Spit in the barn - more pictures and details will follow this week hopefully. You are always welcome to make arrangements and come and inspect it for yourself. Car spent sometime overseas in England and was shipped home by a US Air Force officer (see license plate and window sticker). Royal blue painted over original yellow is checkered and dull. andys_equipment Store Auctiva's FREE Scrolling Gallery will enhance your listings.1976 Triumph TR-6 roadster that has been restored and is in excellent condition. I have put $17,500 into this vehicle to make it the beauty it is. I have owned the Triumph since 1998. This car has only had 2 owners and I am the second owner. I've had the engine carefully rebuilt 12,000 miles ago by a racing motor specialist. The engine was balanced and blue printed. It has a new 3/4 Race Isky Cam and high performance clutch. It has new valves, new pistons, new bearings, new timing chain and gears, the rods were magna fluxed, and a new oil cooler was added. The heads were shaved to give it better compression. The transmission has been rebuilt. It features a newer interior, top, rubber, shocks, and paint. It also has new headers and Weber carbs. It has been rebushed, and has new springs and has been converted to unleaded gas. The vehicle was repainted in the original color with an Imron base coat and then clear coated. We believe the original Roadster color was Imperial Blue. Also a hard top goes with the car but is not pictured. It spent half of its life in California, in Pennsylvania, it is garage kept and seldom driven. There are a few tiny paint bubbles, one can be seen in one of the pictures. To the winning bidder, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is due 3 days after auction close and the balance is due 7 days after auction closing. This vehicle is located in Erie, PA. This car will definitely keep up with today's traffic! Buyer to pay all costs associated with shipping and must contact us for shipping or pickup arrangements. Feel free to ask any questions you may regarding this vehicle.

1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500Convertible Up for auction is a running 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. I've owned the car for several years now; since 2009. I purchased the car in the Pittsburgh area and drove it consistently for the next several years in good weather. The car has sat the past two years basically not driven but started and 'driveway' driven. This year, my intentions were to have my mechanic inspect the car and make it roadworthy. I purchased most of the necessary parts this spring from The Roadster Factory, but never had a chance to have the car looked at because of my work schedule. The new parts are included in the sale of the car*. Will make someone a nice winter project and be able to drive in the spring. Last fall, I replaced the (new) slave cylinder for the transmission. At the same time, I installed a used radiator to replace the leaking one; and also installed all new hoses, new overflow bottle and coolant. Car runs well and starts easily, can be driven onto transport. PA title is clear, mileage exempt (odometer may not be accurate). New parts include:New, gearbox transmission tunnel and mounting hardware.New, two (2) new oil filtersNew set of front disc brakes including pads and rotor, hardware.New set of rear brake pads, hardware.New (2) rear brake adjustersNew (2) rear wheel brake cylinders and hardware.New emergency brake cable You will need new tires and a battery to make it roadworthy. All lights and gauges work (except for the cd/radio - I forgot to hook it back up when I replaced the slave cylinder). Interior is worn but useable, seats have covers on them. Paint is in poor condition, but can wait. The red was put on top of BRG, top coat has worn off, not holding a shine. Surface rust, but holes or putty that I am aware of. P/O had stickers of the door panels (not appropriate - #53 Herbie) when removed it took some paint on the drivers side. The convertible top will need replaced, functional but not good. Has a hole in the top and a couple of holes at the plastic windows. Like I said, I was planning on driving it this summer with more restorations in the future, but now I need to sell the car. I am selling off all of my Triumphs here in the next few weeks - if this is not the one you want, stay tuned for my 66 Spit, 68 Spit or the 69 Spit. All coming out of the barn in the coming weeks - My loss, your project. There is no warranty or guarantee implied here. The car is 36 years old and I am not a certified mechanic. Car is sold in the 'as is' condition. Before you try to give me a low offer, please understand the new parts are valued alone at about $400.00. *If you don't want the parts, I am acceptable to a lower price. Make your offer, just be reasonable, maybe we can work something out. I would like the car picked up as soon as possible - My barn is coming down and no longer will have dry storage. Car will have to be paid in full at that time. I am asking for a deposit only to keep people honest. See my other auctions and feedback as Lovemytriumph. Check out my other items! This is a really nice Spitfire 1500 with about 58,000 miles. Last PA inspection was 2012 having only 200 miles since. Body is super straight with no rust, solid floors and really clean frame. Car was originally brown but repainted years ago and done very well, hard to know color change, everything was painted well. there are some chips and a paint crack on the hood near one of the lights. paint shines and look really good. Trunk is clean with no rust too. Top is excellent but zipper needs repaired, I'm still working on trying to get it working. Boot cover included, spare and original jack. All glass is clean and clear including the rear window. Interior is excellent and I just installed a complete new carpet kit, no rips or tears in seats but they could use new foams at some time, door cards are good. All gauges work as well as an after market oil gauge, no cracks in dash and very nice wood treatment. All electrics, lights are sorted and work perfectly including the horn. Engine starts easily with a pull of the choke and idles well, new temp sending unit, runs cool and had good oil pressure. Engine compartment is clean as seen in photos, tires are good as well as all wire wheels. Car runs and drives and handles really well, brakes and shifts as it should. No rattles or shakes even at 60mph. Have clear PA title showing 1978 Triumph, 57938 miles in 2009. I will assist in shipping provided buyer makes all arrangements in advance. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. You are welcome to come and inspect the car or call me at 814-931-0627 to ask any questions. I try to describe all my items the best I can so there are no surprises, check my feedback. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Thanks and bid away!!

RELISTED!!! PRICED TO SELL! I purchased this car a year and a half ago on line. Now! This vehicle runs as good as it looks. But not initially. It needed a lot of new parts ( stainless steel exhaust, bushings, etc...) to get it inspected and run well. Buyer beware! There are a lot of TR6's out there that look great in the pictures but needs thousands of dollars of repairs just to get it on the road and driving safely. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Rest assured this is as clean as it looks. I had $7000 worth of body work done to fix what initially looked like a small rust spot on the front right rocker panel, but it obviously was much worse. This car has NO rust. It comes with a factory hardtop that fits and looks great, tonneau cover and boot for the soft top. The only thing that is not A+ is the soft top. There are no rips; the plastic windows are a little yellow, but this is a car to drive with the top down. Also a few of the rivets that the soft top connects to are broken but I had no issues with the top fitting snugly. Always garage kept by me and previous owner. I can produce the work invoices upon request.

For sale is a beautiful 1973 Triumph Spitfire Mark IV 1500 with it's original, matching numbers, engine and transmission. The car was made while the factory was upgrading the Spitfire model from the MK IV to the 1500 and this car has both sets of badges. The engine is the 1500cc engine from the later 1500. Car was restored to a good driving condition about 6 years ago by my father and I. Restoration included repairing all body work and a professional paint job. New interior and convertible top. Refresh of the engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, brakes, and carburetor systems. New wiring harness installed (no more prince of darkness Lucas electrics!) New gas tank and new electric fuel pump. All chrome trim and bumpers are original and have been polished. Car has black leather seats and custom made denim seat covers with Union Jack Flag insets (Black leather gets hot on a summer drive!) All gauges are in good working order and we added an auxiliary temperature gauge wired into the thermostat. Also added an electric fan to the radiator and have had no overheating issues. Original wood dash has been re-veneered and looks great. The frame was cleaned of rust and POR-15 coated. The body work and paint job is absolutely stunning and really shine. You won't find a nice painted Spitfire. Since the restoration was completed this car has been a reliable driver that I would take down to the beach for the weekend or cruise around in style. The car has sporty handling and feels like a big go-kart. A great car to cruise in and enjoy the scenery. There aren't too many Spitfires around and everywhere I drove it I always got people giving me thumbs up and coming over to ask about it when stopped. It's a great "see and be seen" car and holds its own against the all the muscle cars at cruise nights. The last time I entered the car in a ranked show (all british) the car scored an 85 out of 100. I was very happy with that as I built it to be a driver and not a show car. However the car has sat for two years and life has gotten in the way a bit so it's time to sell my baby. I want someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. The car still starts and runs great however the clutch fluid disappears (no puddle beneath the car) and the clutch starts acting up when driving. It could be as simple as bleeding the lines but I haven't been able to look at it in depth. The engine bay could use some fresh paint and line organization and the car would really be in perfect shape. A great car for someone looking to have a unique car to drive and tinker with! The perfect hobby car! The car is located and can be seen in Kutztown, PA. The buyer will be responsible for shipping. I'm asking $8500 but feel free to give me a counter offer. I think that is a fair price for the car and it's condition. Thanks.

1962 Triumph TR3B Roadster Rarest and Most Collectible TR3 with TR4 Engine & Full Synchromesh 4-Speed Transmission Triumph Racing Green with Biscuit Leather Interior Restored with Performance Upgrades Serial # TCF1354L About the TR3B The Triumph TR3B is an unofficial name given to the final version of the TR3 which was offered concurrent with the TR4 between March 1962 and October 1962. The TR3B was a special, short-production run by Triumph in response to dealer concerns that U.S. buyers might not welcome the new TR4. The TR3B appearance was identical to the late U.S. version of the TR3A. Two series of TR3Bs were produced, one with a serial number preceded by TSF of which 530 were produced and one with a serial number preceded by TCF of which 2,804 were produced. The TSF series were identical to the last run of TR3A with the 1998 cc (2.0) liter engine and the TR4 all-synchromesh gear box. The TCF series had the TR4 all-synchromesh transmission and the 2138cc (2.2) liter TR4 engine with 105 hp at 4,650 rpm and 127 ft lbs of torque at 3,350 rpm. Fuel mileage was around 20 to 30 miles per US gallon and the top speed was about 110 mph limited by the gear ratio. It weighed 2,137 lbs. Automobile Magazine (October 2013) featured the Triumph TR2/TR3 in its Collectible Classics series stating: “The TR3 packs a lot of style in a small package. These Triumphs feature great, down-swept bodywork and faired-in headlights that could almost make them a poor man's Jaguar XK120. With these cars, the styling isn't just something you admire from the outside; it's integral to the behind-the-wheel experience, as well. The cut-down doors, padded along the top, make for perfect elbow rests. Combined with the delicate, chrome-framed windshield, they create a real out-in-the-elements experience, almost like riding a motorcycle. These Triumphs offer the unfiltered British roadster experience, with style that belies their diminutive size. Performance that's better than many of their contemporaries makes them enjoyable on the road even today. Simplicity and widespread parts availability help keep them on the road tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, TR3 prices have been quietly sneaking higher but have yet to really skyrocket, leaving plenty of appreciation potential.” This CarLeft-hand drive TR3B built in August 1962 for export to North America. Numbers match the factory records - chassis, body, engine and transmission. Serial # TCF1354L , Body # 1917-TSF. Triumph racing green with biscuit leather interior. Chrome wire wheels. Original 2138 cc engine (TCF1401E) and 4-speed full synchromesh transmission (TSF1828). Original factory equipment included heater, black tonneau cover, all-synchromesh gearbox, 86 mm pistons/bore engine, windscreen washers, adjustable steering column, 590x15 whitewall tires. Three owners since 1974 (40 years). Ground-up restoration beginning with a numbers-matching car with very straight, original body panels and very little rust. Only the rocker panels under the doors were replaced, all the remaining panels are original. The chrome is original and in very good condition except the face of the right front bumper overrider on which the original chrome has peeled. The previous owner stated he spent over $50,000 on the restoration not including the cost of the car. Over $5,000 (parts only) in performance upgrades: - Rare 42 DCOE side draft Weber carburetors, - Exhaust header with Monza sport exhaust, - Stainless steel fuel tank, - Moto Lita steering wheel & adapter hubs, - (5) 15 x 4.5” wire wheels, knock off caps, etc, - Vredestein 185/70R15 tires. Interior has leather seating surfaces, door tops, etc. Black carpets & rubber mats. Black soft top, side curtains and tonneau cover. Soft top frame included but removed because the car is never driven in the rain. I decided not to install the side curtain anchors (included) since I will never use them and prefer the clean appearance of the door panels without them. Jack, brass hammer, tool roll, owners manual and spare. Great opportunity to buy a wonderful example of a TR3: - Rarest and most collectible TR3 with more powerful TR4 engine and full-synchromesh 4-speed transmission, - Stunning colors - Triumph racing green, biscuit & black, - Restored straight, solid, numbers-matching example, - Performance upgrades - Weber side-draft carbs, sport exhaust, Moto Lita steering wheel, etc. Terms If you have questions or a serious interest in buying this car, please send me a message via the eBay "Ask Seller a Question" function.
