A straight body with original paint . There are no dents. All glass is good, but with any 65 year old car there will be some rubber that will need to be replaced. At this time it does not leak. It has original interior upholstery and it is not ripped. With cleaning it would probably be fine. Lenses are made of glass and are all there and in better than good shape . This is a car of many potentials. As an original or as I saw it a perfect street rod. with a V8 with Hillborne Injectors. This could be such a sleeper. First come first served.

0 0 1 209 1195 Ebby Halliday, Preston Center 9 2 1402 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE The original factory yellow paint is showing no signs of repair and no significant dents. Minor rust in the body is confined to the area behind the bumper and above the exhaust. Other minor rust is found in a few spots in the trunk and floorboards. The now great running engine had been rebuilt in the past but never run until my ownership. New parts include, water pump, belts and hoses, fuel pump, plugs and wires. The original radiator was reconditioned, the fuel tank was cleaned, and the exhaust was repaired. All brake hydraulics were rebuilt and shoes were replaced where needed. Both the front and rear seats were professionally recovered, the power top system was made to work with a new pump, hoses and rams. Both the front and rear bumpers have been re-plated. The car starts quickly, runs, drives, stops, the steering is tight, three of the four windows roll up and down as intended and all of the doors-trunk and hood fit well. The one mechanical problem not addressed is the driveshaft that bangs the under side and appears to be to short. The headlights, taillights, brake lights and interior lights are working, there is no radio or antenna and there is no fabric at all on the top frame. This is an original, fine, straight and solid car that needs restoration. Clear Texas title in my name. I will sell either of the two cars for $6,000.00 or I will sell the pair for $11,000.00. After my last experience with an insane Studebaker fan, I have decided not to risk using the auction format. Pete @ 214-505-5005
