This was also the first major re-design to the body shell. The Carrera model had a 0.30 coefficient of drag. The Type 996 spawned over a dozen variations, including the Turbo, four-wheel-drive and twin-turbo, often made appearances in magazines' lists of the best cars on sale. The Carrera underwent revisions for model year 2002, receiving clear lens front and rear indicator lights which were first seen on the Turbo version two years earlier. A mildly revised front fascia was also introduced, though the basic architecture remained. Engine displacement was increased in 2002 to 3.6 L. The roof system on the convertible transformed the car from a coupé to a roadster in 19 seconds. The car is equipped with a rear spoiler that raises at speeds over 120 km/h (75 mph). It can also be raised manually by means of an electric switch. 996 Turbo (2001--2005) In 2000, Porsche launched the Turbo version of the Type 996 for MY 2001. Like the GT3, the new Turbo engine derived from the 911 GT1 engine and, like its predecessor, featured twin-turbos and now developed 420 PS(309 kW). Also like its predecessor the new Turbo was only available with all-wheel drive. The Turbo can reach a top speed of 189 mph (304 km/h). The styling was more individual than previous Turbos. Along with the traditional wider rear wings, the 996 Turbo had different front lights and bumpers when compared to the Carrera and Carrera 4. The rear bumper had air vents that were reminiscent of those on the Porsche 959 and there were large vents on the front bumper. Turbo The 996 Turbo debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September 1999. It went on sale in the US in summer of 2000 as a 2001 model. The turbo was powered by a water-cooled twin turbocharged/intercooled 3.6L H-6 derived from the 1998 LeMans winning GT-1 car. The engine produced 415 hp at 6000 rpm and 415 lb·ft (563 N·m) of torque. The 996 turbo featured all-wheel drive and was available with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission. The turbo had revised styling and a wider stance than the naturally aspirated 996 Carreras along with new bi-xenon headlamps. The turbo also came with VarioCam Plus as well as stability management. In the US, the rear spoiler would automatically rise at 76 mph (122 km/h) and lower at 36 mph (58 km/h). The turbo had revised bodywork to allow airflow to 3 radiators up front and to accommodate 18-inch wheels and tires. Other features introduced in 2002, was a glove box, center mounted cup-holders, an optional Bose stereo and rain-sensing wipers. In 2004, the Turbo cabriolet debuted which was the first 911 Turbo Cabriolet since 1989. The Turbo, GT2 and GT3 models use the Aluminum crankcase of the air-cooled 911 with its true dry sump oiling system. The six separate individual Nikasil lined cylinders in this engine are covered with two separately installed water jackets each covering a bank of 3 cylinders on each side of the engine, thus adding water cooling to a crankcase originally designed for air-cooled cylinders (the normal 996 Carrera engine has the cylinders and water jackets cast together with the crankcase). This engine is very similar to that of the Le Mans winning Dauer Porsche 962 and Porsche GT1 racing cars' engines. Shipping not included, but I will coordinate transport to anywhere in the U.S. Feel free to contact with any questions! Thanks!

The rear bodywork was a total of 88 mm (3.5 in) wider than its predecessor. However, the most notable aesthetic difference between the 997 and the 996 was the return to oval headlights like those of pre-996 Carreras, with separate indicator units. The interior was re-designed with new controls; however, it was more reminiscent of classic 911 interiors than of the outgoing 996. The body in general remained low profile with a drag coefficient of 0.29 for the Carrera and 0.30 for the Carrera S.[citation needed]Performance[edit] The base Carrera has essentially the same 3,596 cc (3.596 L; 219.4 cu in) flat-6 (Boxer) engine from Type 996 Carrera. According to testing carried out by several American automotive publications, the Turbo model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in about 3.4 seconds with an automatic and 3.5 seconds with the manual transmission. Note, however, that these figures are conservative Porsche statistics. The viscous clutch all wheel drive system (997.1) sends between 5% and 40% of engine torque to the front wheels as needed.Cabriolet For the first time, development of the cabriolet version of the 997 led the design and engineering effort at Porsche with the coupé following. Porsche applied the logic that if you started with the more difficult cabriolet challenges (for chassis stiffness) the coupé version would simply be more rigid. Despite additional weight, the cabriolet versions attain nearly the same performance figures as their coupé counterparts. Even the rear tail comes up slightly higher on the cabriolets to compensate for differences in drag over the canvas top vs. the smoother coupé shape. The 997 Turbo debuted in February 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show. It featured a new front bumper with LED turn signal strips in the air intakes; the fog lamps were moved to the corners of the bumpers. Large air vents fore and aft of the rear wheels provide other obvious visual cues of the Turbo model. Also featured was a retractable rear wing, as used on the 996 Turbo. The engine was based on the rugged and reliable 964/GT1 design rated 480 PS (350 kW; 470 hp) and 620 N·m (460 lb·ft). The turbochargers are fitted with a two-stage resonance intake system. The engine uses two BorgWarner VTG turbos, a first for Porsche. The Variable Turbine Geometry incorporates guide vanes on the turbine wheel that change their angle of attack with exhaust speed, reducing boost lag at low speeds while opening up to prevent excessive back pressure at high RPMs. With the exception of the 1988 Honda Legend Wing Turbo, such variable geometry turbines were previously only available on diesel engines. The optional Sport Chrono package allows the 911 Turbo to overboost for ten seconds (1.0 bar to 1.2 bar), increasing peak torque over a narrow RPM range. According to official Porsche figures, the 997 Turbo Gen 1 accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds with the manual transmission, and 3.7 seconds with the 5-speed Tiptronic S transmission. Benchmark times to 200 km/h (124 mph) are 12.8 and 12.2 seconds, respectively. Maximum speed with either transmission is 310 km/h (193 mph). Turbo Cabriolet Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet Porsche AG announced on May 7, 2007 that the 911 Turbo Cabriolet would go on sale in September 2007. The Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet became one of the fastest convertible sports cars in production. It is capable of similar top speeds and acceleration to the standard Porsche 997 turbo coupé, a notable feat due to the typical problems associated with convertible variants of hardtop coupés, such as the poor aerodynamics of a soft top, a lack of torsional rigidity, and the consequential weight increase from structural members. Note. Car made Vintage spiders. This a chromoly tube frame not a VW panNearly the entire interior has been customized in aluminum. Even inside the doors. Possibly the pictures don't do it justice. This is $50k build. The engine is a $10k porshe 356 motor, not some hopped up unreliable type 1 VW. The car has 24,000 miles on it. The motor has les than 3,000 miles on it. Excellent condition 1956 Spyder Replica. This car was built in 2003. It has -Porsche A series drums-new pistons and calipers-New Techno magnesium wheels, If you don't want these I will reduce the price by $3000- fresh (3000 miles)1967 912 engine, Short Skirt pistons, MSD ignition.-Transmision was regeared to match a 356 porsche. I know other cars talk about a tall 1 and 2 or 4th etc. but they never seem right. When I first got the car, it had tall gears and then I changed to a hybrid but it still wasn't right. When I had the motor done, I also paid a Buggy racing shop to redo it and the difference is very noticeable. I also have a 356 and it feels the same. -custom aluminum interior work with a 1967 Les Leston aluminum wheel-custom headrest faring-mid height Plexi glass windshield. Perfect wind flow just over your head. No back flow.-Correct twin bosch horns behind customs aluminum grill. These are Mercedes because the Porsche were only 6 volt but other than that the same horn.-Custom aluminum mirror housing and stainless Porsche review mirror. -comes with extra set of original steel wheels and a set of old Michelin XZX tires If you've looked at other Spyders, you will notice the front wheel wells are not finished well. I've had the fronts flared about 1 inch and the outline changed to correct this. If you put a stock car side by side it is easy to notice the difference. -Rear coilers are double adjustable. On a swing axel car it is very important to keep the inside rear wheel from coming up to fast. With these, you can adjust the shock rate up and down independently. This is the only car I have seen with these and without them, you just have to set the car super stiff.I am 6'2" and have done several small details to get more space. Cut down seat, custom recess in double wall aluminum firewall, etc. There are some small scratches in the paint so it isn't perfect, but on a race car they honestly don't seem out of place. The color is a mercedes silver from the period. It has a hint of brown and the red is very dark, really adding to a vintage look. Some 550s are bright or blue silver and just look fake to me. The numbers and spears are outlined in a mustard yellow-not gold-again making the car look old. Every time I have showed it next to other 550s it was the favorite with the exception of one car that had $40K in aluminum modifications. It was very nice. People ask me how much better it would be to get a new one? Let me just say these are built one at a time by small factories. A lot of mistakes are made. I have spent hundreds of hours and $ on mechanics correcting big and little details to make this car safe and reliable. You will never get that with a new one. Note. The mileage is 24,000 not 24. If you would like more details you may call 8056375559 west coast hours please

1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet Message - 12k Original Miles- Two Fully Documented Owners- Entirely Original, Including Paint- Impeccable Original Interior- Mechanically Excellent & Fully Dealer Serviced Dealership Information Goodman Reed Motorcars805-202-4557info@goodmanreed.comwww.goodmanreed.comSanta Barbara, CA Description 0 0 1 628 3583 Goodman Reed Corporation 29 8 4203 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Offered for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, 12k original mile, entirely original, dealer serviced, two owner, collector quality 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet, finished in perpetually tasteful, completely factory original Linen Grey Metallic paint over a Linen interior. Sold new with a sticker price of $56,342 ($102k+ in today’s dollars, adjusted for inflation) by Scottsdale Porsche Audi on March 31st, 1990 to a Mr. and Mrs. Johns of Lake Havasu City, AZ, the car would remain in their care as their sparingly used garage queen until 2010, when it was sold with only 11k miles to its second owner, a businessman and Porsche enthusiast from nearby Flagstaff, AZ. Over the course of the second owner’s four year tenure, he accrued a mere 1,000 miles of additional use and had Scottsdale Porsche replace the all-important timing belt and perform the preemptive 15k mile service, amongst a litany of other associated dealer-performed services. Each of the car’s two doting owners always ensured that the car was exceptionally well cared for, always keeping it garaged and maintained and always using it sparingly as a prized occasional driver. The mileage and quality of service is documented by both a stack of service documents (all at Scottsdale Porsche) and an entirely clean CARFAX report. Considering the car’s history, the uncommon Linen Grey Metallic finish is unsurprisingly impeccable, 100% original and marred only by the most minor of imperfections, none of which are significant enough to appear in the pictures or detract from the car’s considerable appeal. Never in an accident, the body is factory straight and correct, retaining entirely consistent panel fits and gaps. The glass and rubber are in the excellent condition one would expect of a well-cared-for 12k original mile car and the factory wheels are exceptionally clean and wrapped in Goodyear tires with plenty of remaining tread. The car’s interior is commensurately virginal, the Linen leather seats and original carpets showing effectively no wear whatsoever and the dash entirely free of cracks, housing fully functional, all original gauges and components, including the original Blaupunkt head unit and optional Blaupunkt BEA 80 Equalizer Amplifier Unit. The car’s original soft-top, rear window and boot cover are all in excellent condition, and the car comes with an unused front bra system, car cover, records, two sets of keys, the spare and toolkit, the original MSRP invoice and odometer sales documents and all of the original books and manuals (including the stamped Service Booklet). Please Note: While the original Owner's Manual isn’t in the picture, it is included in the sale. Always well maintained despite its sparing use, the car is also extremely strong mechanically, the original, normally aspirated, dual overhead 3.0L Ventiler engine starting effortlessly, idling consistently and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the 5-speed transmission’s gears. Compression is excellent across all cylinders and the car’s road manners are faultless. What’s more, as a 993 owner and driver, I can honestly say that while quite different, the 944 S2 is surprisingly quick and the experience from behind the wheel is thoroughly satisfying and Porsche to a T. It’s becoming awfully difficult to find unmolested, extremely low mileage examples, and considering that only 2,402 NA 944 S2 Cabriolets were produced over the three year production run, this is undoubtedly one of the finest remaining, lowest mileage 944s – certainly that’s available on the market today. Let’s rehash the most important points: 12k Original MilesTwo Fully Documented OwnersEntirely Original, Including PaintImpeccable Original InteriorMechanically Excellent and Fully Dealer Serviced This is a rare opportunity to acquire an incredible, truly collector quality, low mileage, entirely original example – one that is as honest and original as any on the market and one that can be thoroughly enjoyed as it continues to follow its Porsche brethren in the appreciation curve. This is a truly special 944 S2 Cabriolet, worthy of the garage of either the weekend enthusiast or the seasoned collector. Neither will be disappointed. ? ? ?Contact Us About Us Goodman Reed Motorcars is a boutique vintage car dealership specializing in the sale, location and brokerage of rare and collector quality vehicles. This is a 2014 Porsche 911 in Dark Blue with Luxor beige interior. I purchased it only 14 months ago in August 2014. It is one of several cars I have and only has an ultra-low 4520 miles on it. Original MSRP was $102,070. Options include 7 speed PDK transmission, 20 inch Carrera S wheels, colored Porsche crest wheel center caps, Porsche dynamic lighting system, park assist sonar front and rear, glass sunroof, sport design steering wheel, power sport seats, premium package plus (includes ventilated and heated seats), and the BOSE audio package. This vehicle was always driven sanely and never raced, tracked or wrecked. I used a Porsche outdoor cover which I am including with the purchase. I also have the very nice Porsche front trunk liner and Porsche black front rubber mats in addition to the standard Beige carpet mats front and back which I will include with the asking price. The car is mechanically perfect and was just serviced by Porsche a few days ago with an oil change and fresh service updates. Cosmetically the car looks like it just came off the lot. The only cosmetic defect of note is a tiny spot of curb rash on the right front wheel. This was carefully buffed out and painted with touch up enamel. I included a macro photo of this millimeter sized area. It is not obvious unless you know where to look. I love this car. The 991 911 is vastly superior to the 997 that I had just a few years earlier in every respect. I also think it has the best-looking color combination ever offered in a 911. The dark blue metallic must be seen in person to really be appreciated. Unfortunately, practicality (ability to haul things) dictates that I replace this car with a Macan. That is the only reason it it being sold. The car is located in Santa Barbara, California. It has a clean title with no liens. I can take payment only by bank wire or cash in person. If you want the car shipped I would recommend covered trailering and I am happy to help load the car for your transportation agent. All funds must be received before the car can be taken.

1990 Porsche 911 Carrera Message - 43K Original Miles - Extremely Original Example (Including Paint) - Only Two Owners - Mechanically Excellent - All Books, Records Clean CarFax Included Dealership Information Goodman Reed Motorcars805-202-4557info@goodmanreed.comwww.goodmanreed.comSanta Barbara, CA Description Offered for sale is an absolutely stunning, extremely original 43k mile, two owner, mechanically strong 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet finished in iconic and factory original Guards Red paint over Champagne leather, a particularly appealing and era-specific livery. As mechanically tight and sound as it is beautiful, this example has always been well cared for, has never been in an accident and comes with a folder of service receipts, a stamped service booklet and an entirely clean CARFAX report. The car was sold new to its original owner in Brookfield, Wisconsin, who would own the car until 2009, at which point it was sold to its second and last owner, an enthusiast from a suburb of Chicago. He would own the car for an additional six years and, like its original owner, would only use it in fair weather months, would always keep it garaged and would use it sparingly. The completely original Guards Red finish is striking, in excellent condition throughout, cloaking an entirely straight body with correct and consistent panel gaps and fits. The body and finish is marred only by incredibly minor imperfections, none of which are significant enough to appear in any of the pictures or detract from the car’s considerable overall appeal. The glass and rubber is all in excellent condition, as are the original alloy wheels, which are wrapped in Goodrich tires with plenty of remaining tread. The car’s interior is equally as clean, the original Champagne leather seats, carpets and interior panels all showing only minimal wear. The original dash is free of cracks or warping and the original Blaupunkt radio has been replaced with a high quality Alpine unit, aftermarket speakers and a K40 Radar Detector. The rest of the car, however, is entirely factory original. The original soft top (including the plastic rear window) is in great original shape, as is the original boot cover. The car is mechanically excellent, the original, numbers matching 3.6L engine starting immediately, idling consistently and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the 5-speed transmission’s gears. The compression is excellent across all cylinders, the car drives and brakes straight and true and its road manners are exceptional. The car is entirely comfortable cruising down the highway or tooling around town, but Porsche’s legendary handling also becomes abundantly clear when pushing the car through back-road corners. Everything works as it should, including the power spoiler, power soft top, power seats and power windows, making this a truly turn-key example that needs nothing to be enjoyed but an appreciative new owner.Over the last ten years the 964 model reached the bottom of its depreciation curve and has been quickly appreciating, having recently joined its predecessors in the ranks of timeless Porsche classics. This should come as no surprise, considering that between 1989 ½ and 1994 (the 964’s production run), the U.S. economy was dealing with a recession, yielding considerably lower production numbers compared to its 3.2L predecessor and 3.4L successor. Further, the 964 is exceptionally comfortable compared to earlier 911s, yet it still retains that visceral, grin-inducing Porsche ride quality and air-cooled engine tone. There will inevitably come a time when enthusiasts’ will wish that they’d acquired a 964 at 2015 prices, making this an excellent opportunity for weekend enthusiasts and collectors alike to acquire a low mileage, mechanically strong, cosmetically beautiful example finished a rare-special order livery and outfitted with desirable options. ? ? ?Contact Us About Us Goodman Reed Motorcars is a boutique vintage car dealership specializing in the sale, location and brokerage of rare and collector quality vehicles. 0 0 1 813 4638 Goodman Reed Corporation 38 10 5441 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Offered for sale is our absolutely stunning, 42,153 original mile, heavily optioned, mechanically strong 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet finished in its original and iconic Guards Red over special-order supple Classic Grey leather with red leather piping to sample, an uncommon and particularly appealing livery. As mechanically tight and sound as it is beautiful, this example has always been well cared for and comes with an entirely clean CARFAX report. Delivered new to its first owner by Negherbon Porsche in Oakland, CA (now Porsche of Livermore), the car would stay in the San Francisco Bay Area until the original owner moved to Nevada in 2001, bringing the car with him. It was subsequently sold locally to its second owner in 2002 and his tenure with the car would last for another eight years, before it was sold to its third and most recent owner, also a Nevada resident, in 2010. The original Guards Red finish is striking, in excellent condition throughout cloaking an entirely straight body with correct and consistent panel gaps and fits. The finish is marred by only incredibly minor imperfections, none of which are significant enough to appear in any of the pictures and none of which detract from the car’s considerable overall appeal. The glass and rubber is all in excellent condition, as are the original five spoke wheels with colored crest center caps, wrapped in nearly new Yokohama tires The car’s interior is equally as clean, the original Classic Grey leather seats with distinctive special-order red piping, carpets and interior panels all showing only minimal wear, commensurate with what one would expect from a well cared for 42,000 mile car. The car was optioned from the factory with desirable “Raffleder” gathered leather seats (code 980, also known as “supple” leather), leather piping to sample (red), adjustable heated seats (driver and passenger side), on-board computer, automatic speed control and an amplifier system. The original Blaupunkt radio has been replaced with a high quality Alpine unit (with auxiliary plug in capability) and Infinity speakers, however nothing else on the car is custom or aftermarket. Lastly, the original soft top was recently replaced with a German canvas top and is consequently in excellent condition, as is the original boot cover. The car is mechanically excellent, the original, numbers matching 3.6L engine starting immediately, idling consistently and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the original 5-speed transmission’s gears. The compression is excellent across all cylinders, the car drives and brakes straight and true and the road manners are exceptional. The car is entirely comfortable cruising down the highway or tooling around town, but Porsche’s legendary handling also becomes abundantly clear when pushing the car through back-road corners. Everything works as it should, including the power spoiler, power soft top, power seats, heated seats, on-board computer, power windows and air conditioning (which does blow cold), making this a truly turn-key example that needs nothing to be enjoyed but an appreciative new owner. Over the last ten years the 964 model reached the bottom of its depreciation curve and has been quickly appreciating, having recently joined its predecessors in the ranks of timeless Porsche classics. This should come as no surprise, considering that between 1989 ½ and 1994 (the 964’s production run), the U.S. economy was dealing with a recession, yielding considerably lower production numbers compared to its 3.2L predecessor and 3.4L successor. Goodman Reed Motorcars We try to give accurate descriptions of the cars we’re selling, but we’re enthusiasts, not experts, and we encourage and are happy to help facilitate personal or professional inspections. But please do so before bidding, as the alternative harms our ability to make sales to other interested parties who have done their proper due diligence before bidding. For U.S. buyers a 10% non-refundable deposit is required within 3 days of the auction’s end, the balance to be paid within 7 days of the auction’s end. Foreign buyers must pay in full within 7 business days of the auction’s end. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however we’d be more that happy to help with recommendations and arrangements. The car is listed locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time should it sell prior to auction’s end. Thanks for your interest.

1962 PORSCHE BARNFIND- Car has been sitting since 79, I don't know much about it other than the lady I got it from said she purchased for a workmate in 1971 who had it shipped from France. In 1979 she decided to have it repaint, paint was stripped and there it sat... the motor is not frozen as I turned it over by hand. I am sure it needs to be rebuilt as sitting, the car needs a total restoration. there is a bill of sale as the title is missing and out of DMV records, as is the ignition key, there is rust up in the front valance , pans look pretty good, passenger side window, door wont open, maybe its locked and no keys. I am taking offers on it, as is, where is, buy responsible for pick up, non -running vechicle.

Offered for sale is a unique and rare period correct Crown Turbocharged 1972 Appearance Group Porsche 914 1.7. Black on Black with 5 genuine Fuch wheels. This could be the black sheep bastard younger brother to the very fine 70 914-6 currently up for auction here on ebay. The potential is here in Spades. This car has some issues that will be described in the condition section below. I will be putting the best offer function up on Sunday, feel free to make a good one time offer if you are interested in this 914. I will sell this car to the highest offer prior to the end time on Tuesday. I have owned this 914 for roughly a year, and will tell you what I know of the history. The car had a early 1990's makeover, including black paint, 911SC rear trim piece, lower rocker trim, Appearance Group front spoiler, crome bumpers (which were blacked out), center console and seats. I believe the car was turbocharged prior to the makeover and it is a very rare 1974 Crown kit with the original documentation as shown. The car has it's original correct EA code engine. I was told from the prior owner that the engine displacement was increased to 2.0 liter when it was rebuilt with the Crown turbocharger. I don't have verification to prove this however. The Crown kit appears to have been professionally installed and includes a Bursch tuned exhaust. The car was converted to 5 lug 911 and from what I was told front 911 front suspension components were added. The rear has upgraded Bilstein gas shocks. Included are 5 period correct genuine 911 6x15j Fuch wheels. The 4 on the car would be correct for this 72 car if it were a true 914-6. They all are dated 7/71 except for the spare which is dated 73. The wheels are in amazing condition with no curb rash. These 5 wheels on their own would fetch $2500-$3000 I was told. It's riding on Pirelli P400 185 65's with less than 100 miles since mounted. The car had a turbotail spoiler on the back which is included but was removed at some point. Condition Mechanical: This car has been off the road for roughly 4 years. Prior to taking ownership, the former owner told me that the car died while idling at a stop light. He was able to restart it and get it home. Then he parked it in his driveway covered until I bought it last year. It was driven regularly until parked. The owner told me he was pretty sure it had an electrical gremlin that caused it but other than changing the fuel pump and a few relays didn't full sort it out parked it covered and stopped driving it. Upon taking ownership I replaced the spark plug wires, plugs and points, put new fuel injectors in it, changed the oil and filter, bought a good used fuel injector computer (2 will be included), put fresh gas in it and got it running and drove it short distances. I also replaced the ignition switch. I never fully sorted it out myself with my limited mechanical ability. I found that it would misfire and backfire and sometimes it would pull strong with the turbo others time it would stall and die. It idled fairly good the times I had it running. I am by no means a Porsche mechanic and this is as far as I got with it. I believe the fuel tank and lines need to be looked at and cleaned out fully and perhaps the valved adjusted. It's been sitting now for about 6 months and I never got back to it. My original plan was to remove the engine, sell the Crown kit (I was offered $1500 for it, probably worth $2000) and put in a Porsche 6 engine to make this a very nice 914-6. At any rate I got short on funds and have parked in my driveway covered since. I believe the wiring should be gone through, especially the fuel injection wiring and back relay board, I think that's where the problem may lie. The throttle cable end came off so it will need a new throttle cable or fixed on the back end. I also bought a bushing kit for the shifter front and back as the shifting was a bit sloppy. The clutch and gears appear fine. The brakes are working but should be renewed I imagine. Body: The cars outward appearance is fantastic! It sits beautifully and many people have commented how nice it is. It appears there was some rust repair done before it was repainted. The passenger side rear jack point needs to be addressed for rust repair. While the car was sitting for 3 years water was trapped on that side from below the battery box and it rusted through that side of the floor pan. I have shown it in the photos the best I can. From what I could tell the car was sitting on un level ground favoring that side and it attacked that side only from what I can tell. I have shown photos with the seats out. The floor pans otherwise appear to be in good shape. That jack point area will need to be fixed since it affects the rigidity of the passenger side seat floor pan. The car sits level to my eye. Looking under the car underside pan looks decent other than some surface rust. Other spots I can see slight rust are a passenger side rear corner of the trunk, a small spot on the front drivers side trunk area down near the spare tire, some bubbling paint areas on the rear trunk lid and small surface bubbles on the hood. The paint is in nice shape, there are blemishes here and there and you can see some slight variation in the paint where the rear whale tail was removed and subsequently painted over. The seats look pretty good. The interior was re carpeted in a black/blue motif that looks very tasteful. The center console has VDO gauges including a boost gauge from a 911 turbo. It has the original banjo steering wheel. The glass is all very good. This car could be considered a very unique, very nice project car with some rare parts. I believe a handy Porsche enthusiast could have this back on the road in no time, either with the original turbocharged engine or a six cylinder dropped in. The car will be sold as is with no guarantees. $1000 non refundable paypal deposit required within 48 hours. I have 4 original 1967 Porsche 912 chrome Lemmerz 15 x 5 1/2 wheels that I can include for $400. I am willing to ship the car worldwide, buyers will have to make all arrangements ahead of time and know what it entails before doing the buy it now. I am willing to store the car for up to 3 weeks, but full payment will need to be made within 5 days. Please be serious if you click on buy it now. It waists everyones time if you don't intend to follow through with the purchase. r>

This is a rust free example of a racecar conversion made to a 1973 1.8 litre 914-4. Only best in suspension and engine components have been utilized to make this lightweight and very fast PCA or POC or HSR? Racer. This 2.1 Liter 4 cylinder car was built in Texas by a wealthy and experienced racer. Car is fully dry sumped. I bought this for a father and son project but we have located a 914-6 to restore so we need a new home for this signal orange beauty. I have all build receipts by previous owner. Break in hours only on a totally fresh pro no expense spared rebuild. I think he invested about $30k in this car. If you want a very fast, lightweight and safe 914-4 for track or for relatively easy street car conversion this baby is perfect. includes headlight motors, has rear lights and turn signals and wipers so depending upon your state should be no big deal to make her street legal but this is between you and your DMV. Sold with Bill of Sale only. I was planning on making a street legal vintage rally car. She runs light a bat out of hell. I will double check as the engine might actually be 2.3. I can email build sheets so you can see all that was put into her, but the list is long from Bilsteins to Webers only the best was used. This is a racecar so paint is not a show car but very presentable. There are chips and scratches as you would expect from racing. Original color was red. Bumpers are fiberglass as are rockers. Hood and rear lid are steel, fenders are steel. Tires are new. Have fun. Make Offer or ? I collect 911's and 911 Engines
