Unbelievable find. Purchased from the original owner 12 years ago. Original open title and protecto plate. 326 2 bbl, power glide, PS, PB, clock, console/floor shift, AM radio, AC (blows cold with R12), wire wheel spinner caps. The car is a virtually rust free Missouri car. The car was painted years ago with enamel (1980s). Not a show quality job but overall presentable. Original paint in the door jambs and trunk. Perfect trunk floor, floor pans, lower quarters, doors, fenders, no rust, no patches. Long scratch on lower RH rear quarter and some nicks in paint. Excellent original chrome and bumpers. Nice original weather stripping. Perfect original glass. Mint vinyl top with perfect moldings. The interior is like new and all original. The carpet is original and shows very little wear. No split seams on the seats. The gray slate headliner is perfect too. Under the hood is untouched. All original fasteners, decals, paint, spring ring battery cables, etc. It even has the original dealer emblem on the trunk! The car has been a great resource for many concourse restorations over the years. This car has always been one of my "keepers" but the time has come to let some one else enjoy this time capsule. 1969 Pontiac LeMans Convertible ORIGINAL COLOR: Lime Light Green Metallic on Dark Green Glossy InteriorORIGINAL ENGINE: STRAIGHT 6 CYLINDER This car is equipped with a Date correct 1969 Pontiac 350 and has a 2 barrel carb. The engine runs. The brake line leaks in the rear so brakes dont work. The car has the original 4 wheel drum brakes still on it. The power top does work properly with the switch on the dash. The passenger side rear window does not roll up but is there and in place, all other windows work. Doors shut good and work properly. The ignition lock set is not there (*Car starts with push button). The Wisconsin TITLE is clean and clear. While loading with forklift pushing forks through front end of the car it was lightly smacked with one of the forks on the passenger side of the frame right behind the front wheel but is otherwise in good solid condition. I have experience selling classic cars on eBay in the past and can help you out with whatever you need. This Pontiac would make a great candidate for some one whom is meticulas and wanting to do a restoration their way and their way only... whether that be a GTO Clone or an all out OEM Original Restoration this car is an excellent base to start with. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I bought this car new for my High School graduation and drove it proudly for several years. It has rarely been driven since 1997. Some subtle pin-striping was added at the Car Craft Nationals in Springfield IL to make it uniquely mine. I also added a cassette player in the small recess under the radio. The catalytic converter was removed. These are the only modifications to the car. The original wheels are not on the car but will be included. The wheels that are on it now are chrome and have some rust. There are a few door dings, chips and blemishes from being my everyday car for the first 10 years. Left rear tail light lens has a small chip. There are small spots on the left front fender and hood corner where an unknown liquid was splattered on to the paint (Please see photo of the area). I simply am not doing this beautiful and rare classic muscle car justice and would like to see it go to someone who will be as proud of it as I have been. No rebuilds. Original paint. The water pump needs replaced or repaired. All original paperwork and window sticker. If I remember correctly, the cassette player that was added was connected to the rear speakers and the radio remains on the front speakers. $500.00 deposit. All cost of Pickup or Shipping is buyers responsibility. The Pontiac Can Am is a muscle car built by Pontiac that was based on the Le Mans Sport Coupe. The Can Am was a special edition option package, and only available in 1977. It was named for the Can Am series, corresponding with the race theme started by the Le Mans and Trans Am. When the Can Am was first introduced to the dealers, Pontiac envisioned producing 2,500 units; the response from the buying public was much more than expected and over 5,000 orders were submitted. Unfortunately, the mold used to produce the fiberglass rear spoiler broke, and production at Motortown ended. Pontiac upper management, already worried about losing sales of their Grand Prix models (the Can Am and the Grand Prix used the same dashboard and console, so a sale of a Can Am was seen as a loss of a sale of a Grand Prix by some senior Pontiac executives), decided to scrap the project after approximately one half year of production. The number of Can Ams produced has never been accurately determined, but the number most commonly used is 1,377.
