I have a 1981 Trans Am in very good condition. Original 301 (4.9) Motor and Original Transmission. The car has a clean title. The car was painted about 2 years ago, the interior is super clean with a digital radio, USB, and aux connections.. I recently just had a full tune up completed. Hello and thanks for checking out our Trans AM for sale! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! THIS CAR WAS NOT INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT IN 2013!!! I had a jeep that struck my wife's Toyota in our driveway, NOT THE GTA!!! Insurance reported it wrong, but can't take it back; thanks, Allstate. Also, I have the report and receipts from the other accident- which was minor in the mid 90s. 1988 Pontiac Firebird TransAm GTA Y84 WS6- Excellent condition. 92,000 miles (~82000 corrected, read on). Original blackpaint (clear coated twice) tinted(35%). Black cloth interior is beautiful and near perfect. (new carpet, Mats &headliner). I am 3rd owner; I flew to Maryland, bought the car with 90,000 miles and drove it back to Western New York. It has been garage kept its whole life.It's a high 12 sec car w/ tons of performance mods; this is not a typical dog 3rd gen firebird! GM L98 350 (5.7 Liter), theblock/pistons/crank are original numbers matching, everything else upgraded. A/C is fully functional and COLD- was serviced, and has held charge for several years, so no issues there. Upgrades: Ventilated Baer 4-wheeldisc brakes. New Stern ST7 Staggered 18" rims (8.5" front, 9.5" rears) with new Eagle F1 tires. Original style 16" gold snowflake wheels included, only they are brand new and shelved with correct OEM rubber to keep in mint condition. Hotchkissuspension-struts/springs/trailing arms/panhard rod/strut brace/polyurethanebushings, and lowered 2 inches. GM ZZ3 aluminum racing heads w/ matching cam Manley roller rockers SLP Coldair intake box with under-valance ram air 1000 cfm foiled throttle body Milled plenum w/ larger SLP racing runners Bigger fuel injectors & fuel rails New flashed cpu March underdrive pulleys 160 degree thermostat Edelbrock Long-tube headers w/ 3-inch exhaust, Flowmaster muffler, Hiflocatalytic converter. Original automatic was replaced with NEW GM Hi-Performance 5-speed conversion (World Class T5, I believe). New GM Hi-Performance rearend w/ 355 gears. All work professionally installed by previous owner's father's prominent speed shop in Maryland. NEW Parts alone topped $10k in the 90s. Nothing was borrowed/taked from donor cars. All from GM Warehouse. Lloyds Gold Bird Floor Mat set Leather Shift knob Minor problems: Radio is not wired to speakers: I never needed/wanted. (original radio is included). Paint has 3 small imperfections: 1. scuff on left side rear bumper, not cracked. Repair estimate is $400 to pull, repair repaint/re-install. It's really not that bad which is why I never repaires it (see pics) 2. pressure crack on hood by latch, and a small repaired bubble on driver's door trim. 4. Typical crack at back lower corner of spoiler on both sides. #2-4 aren't noticeable except up close. The rest of the paint is GORGEOUS! Shines like brand new, no fade or spidering. 5. The center console soft rubber has some separation from the hard plastic top-plate. Car has ~20,000 miles on the performance upgrades. With new gears and transmission, the speedo was not corrected and reads 85 when going 60mph, so the mileage is more accurately near 82000 for the vehicle. Car runs strong, a blast to drive, & can compete w/anything on the road- estimated 350-400 horsepower, 400+torque. Comes fully detailed, NYS inspected, rust-free (oiled to ensure no future problems). 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with original paint and decals. Original 403 Oldsmobile engine and original automatic transmission. New tires, master cylinder, rear calipers, headliner and floor mats with 52,181 miles. The car was purchased from the original owner in 2009. This is the original 36 year old paint and decals so it has never been restored and is not perfect. The interior is in excellent shape and the factory clock still works. The engine is clean and it does leaks a few drops of oil occasionally. The car is PHS certified and has the WS6 option with the 15x9 snowflake rims and 4 wheel disc brakes. I have a copy of the window sticker, the 1979 Pontiac brochure and owners manual. The car has been in several local car shows and has done well. The dash is in perfect condition with no cracks and the car has been garage kept its entire life and never driven in the winter. Classic 1997 Firebird Formula 5.7 V8 Convertible 112k, LT1 5.7 V8. Options include power top, power windows, a/c, cruise, tilt, heated seats, steering wheel radio control, traction control, driver and passenger airbags, color matched honeycomb wheels as well as color matched "Trans Am" bird on hood. Mechanical: Performance mods include a B&M shift kit (shifts the auto tranny at a higher point when laying on the gas for more throttle response, shifts evenly when accelerating normally), full Flowmaster exhaust provides a nice low growl, fairly new sport shocks and struts all around, performance polyurethane bushings all around (all front end and connectors as well as all rear suspension bushings for trailing arm, etc) and a K&N cold air intake (original air box included). Recent work includes new water pump, hoses, belts and a full tuneup including wires, plugs and a $200+ module controlled distributor cap (tune ups are a lot of labor on these cars) as well as new semi metallic brakes and new rotors as well as a new tranny mount. Wheels have aggressive new rubber with about 2000 miles on them. The Firebird handles incredibly well, my friend who drives a Porsche 911 had to admit that even he was impressed at the finesse the 'Bird showed on the road as well as the nimble braking and suspension. He did not mention the HP difference because it wasn't necessary, the Bird leaves his 30k orsche in the dust. The Bird has been rated at somewhere in the 300 hp range, probably a bit higher. I have never gotten over the novelty of driving this Firebird, it is easily the most "fun" car I've ever had. it combines the straight up brute horsepower of the classic musclecar with all the amenities of a modern car. The overdrive transmission will sometimes beat 30 mpg on the highway, even with the air conditioning blasting. All the amenities work perfectly, ice cold a/c, cruise control, power windows and top, rear defrost and the traction control. I've actually had it out in snow a couple of times when necessary and she held her own just fine, not what you'd expect from a car like this. Cosmetic: the car is in overall good to very good condition overall. The front seats had some cracks in the leather and I had "Euro" style leather seat covers installed along with heated seats. The paint is in great shape, still glosses up well when polished with no fading or clearcoat issues. The top is very nice, no rips and the door panels and rear panels are perfect. Some small areas of sun cracking visible on the dash up close and the little "cup" rear seats have seams that are beginning to open. The rear seat will actually accommodate human beings and we've put a baby seat back there many times without issue. One of the things I love so much about this car is that you can drive it as a top down highway dominator or you can put the top up and treat it as a dependable, practical, "real" car. The Firebird was never abused, mistreated and has always had regular maintenance. I bought it from a man in his late 60's and I'm a family guy in his 40's. Drives overall like a Modern Musclecar should. Always garaged, the Bird is perfectly clean undearneath; floors and trunk completely solid, does not even show surface rust. Insured for $18k with Classic Insurance, premium is $176 a year, full comprehensive. She always gets compliments whenever we take it out. I'm selling the Firebird along with a few of my other toys as seen in the pix because of loss of storage. I'm least inclined to let the black 72 Lincoln go but I'm willing to hear offers. The 97 Eldorado has a brand new dealer installed drivetrain (engine, transmission) still warranteed by GM, paperwork transferrable. About 8k on new drivetrain. All service records included, Eldo also has new suspension, new exhaust, recent alternator, climate control fan, belts, hoses and brakes, feels as smooth and quiet as new. 115k on the odometer, nothing needed, even has a remote starter. I've got the Eldo on my Classic Insurance as well, insured for $9k, $144 a year, full comprehensive. As you can see, I've also got a 77 Lincoln Mark V, Cartier Edition with new paint and modern Lincoln black leather interior and a 1929 Gazelle replica with a worked Ford motor (cam, 4 barrel carb, etc).
