up for bid is one of 1200 or so Grand Prix 2+2's. these were made for 1 year for Pontiac,s Nascar plateform. that being said the engine has been up graded to a 6.0l ls v8 with 241 heads that have upgraded valve springs for higher lift cams( engine has a stock cam in it) has new water pump alternator and ac compressor. has gm performance oil pan . corvette injectors, fuel rail and a Camaro/ Firebird intake. the engine is set up on a stand alone wiring harness from speedway motors and has a reflashed ecu. fuel pump is a 255 lph high performance Walbro on a newer sending unit and tank transmission is a turbo 400 that has been serviced and shifts with no issues. has the stock rear diff that is 3.08 positive track . has 17x7 year one replica Pontiac rally 2 wheels with fairly new tires 245 45 17 s interior is in fair shape for its age no major rips or tears but has normal wear for its age. headliner was replaced 2 years back but dome light was not reinstalled body is in good shape was repainted and new decals done to as close to factory as possible. has no rust issues on body or on the frame. clean underneath , its a good driver with show possibilities draws a lot of attention

With the exception of a rebuilt 389 engine from a 64 Grand Prix; the drivetrain and all other main components including the interior are all original. Factory 8 lug rims, and seat belts. AM radio with reverb. The dashboard and console gauges are all functional except the clock. There is some minor rust as seen in the photos, small tear on driver's seat, and worn carpet on driver's side. The car has been stored in a heated garage, and will some require some TLC to get it back into excellent driving condition. Overall this is a 54-year-old survivor waiting for a new car enthusiast owner. If you're looking for a head-turning daily driver or restoration candidate, look no further. Drivetrain is in excellent condition with a very strong engine and a perfect transmission. It has almost every option that was available (including factory Auto leveling shock absorber system, HD Suspension, cooling, electrical, etc.) and interior is in good condition with protective seat covers always on the seats. It has removable T-top roof with original storage bags in great condition! There are no missing parts - the car is complete. The original trunk floor blanket is pictured. The original turbofin wheel covers are not damaged and are not missing any broken fins! This is a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I am the single owner of this car which was purchased brand new in 04 and has been a fantastic car. I drove this daily up until Jan/2016 when it was taken off the road. Currently has 225,000 miles and still runs great. 3.8 Stage 3 motor which has the better heads. This will NOT pass inspection due to Check Engine light and is an emissions issue which means cat replacement, also has a small gas line leak and the rack/pinion is starting to leak power steering fluid. Body is so so with some driver side front end damage but is only cosmetic as shown in photo. This is most likely a parts car but I drive this daily without any issues. New rear pads and rotors, New Throttle body assembly. There are a ton of good parts on this car Glass is all good, Power Windows and Power Seats all function fine. 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Supercharged V6 260 hp. Fully loaded with sunroof and black leather interior which is 9/10 - no rips or tears. Polished chrome wheels are near perfect with no curb rash or dents. Monsoon radio option. The exterior has minor cosmetic damage all around with a dent in the trunk lid - closes and opens fine. Doesn't effect the drive-ability at all. Spoiler has a crack and was "repaired" by a non-professional. Rear bumper was hit, but just minor damage with a small crack in the driver tail light. Missing passenger side-view mirror. Front bumper has a crack in it - see pictures. Other than that the body is straight with most of the damage done to the plastic pieces from parking in the city.
