Rare and Unusual Mopar---Body on restored--54k miles and entire ownership history documented--Numbers match--always collector owned. Repaint in original B5 True Blue with rechromed bumpers. $7000 in recent professional work (lots of leaks from setting) to restore driving dependability now Drives great! Ready to show or cruise. Repaint is base/clear sanded and rubbed to perfection. No bumps and the only rust ever is now repaired with welded panels in a small portion of the lower quarters. Glass perfect--body fit per factory--The interior is interior décor package per the windshield sticker--even the carpets and seat coverings are original. Its a highly optioned car dealer ordered as a "brass hat" demo then bought by the Mopar executive and retained by him for 30 years. Buckets, console, Power Steering and Brakes, Cold A/C which has been modernized and a lot of small options like sport steering wheel, light group and sport wheel trim, front disk brakes, vinyl roof, dual racing mirrors ect. This is all documented as well as the cars original window sticker. Window sticker is available by email. Recent work is brakes all wheels, water pump, rear engine seal, tail pipes all fluids, battery and tires. In addition the steering pump, steering rack and transmission were overhauled and the AC modernized. Hemmings Motor News did a buyers guide in the Feb 2011 issue and placed the high value at $45,000! Very few of the Road Runner GTX 440 were built and this is one of 749 in 1973. Here's the "knock list" heater and windshield washer not working. In 1972 Plymouth merged the GTX and Road Runner into one model. The combination lasted to 1974 with low build numbers for the entire 3 years of production. This is one of the 749 cars built in 1973. This car is unique in its complete documented history and collector ownership it's entire 53,000 mile life. Built in Oct 72 as a special order dealer "BRASS HAT CAR", it's got all the convenience features excepting power windows. The window sticker shows base car of $3,000 and nearly $2000 in options. It carries Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Steering, along with performance rear axle, sport wheels, deluxe bucket seat/console interior and stereo radio. It has a modern CD player in the glove box. It's numbers matching, of course, and with all the historical documentation and options is an excellent investment grade car. Condition at this time is excellent with an recent extensive mechanical restoration (mostly leaks) along with new tires.
