The rebuilt motor is a date coded 383 hp period correct, 727 automatic transmission, with a sure grip 8 3/4 rear end with 3:23 gears, air grabber hood, rare black on black, buckets seats and console, all new or recently polished chrome and stainless, all new grill and light assemblies , car has painted bottom with over 100 man hours of sanding it is perfect! Car is laser straight, wet sanded and buffed to perfection, the stripes on the hood are the correct organosol, has a new legendary interior, over $90k in restoration, my loss is your gain, car is available for inspection by appointment only. This is a real cool old 1949 Plymouth four door police interceptor. The miles on the car indicate actual since rebuild. They are not the original to the car, true miles are unknown. Has an authentic single bubblegum light on the roof that works well and is also so quiet that you have got to look up to see if its on, but just look at the dash and the dash light will indicate its working. The siren button is next to the beacon switch, and you will definitely know when its on. Its old school so as you push the button it ramps up, you release the button and it winds down, its loud ! The old car drives out very well, Having the original independent front a arms, with good working drum breaks front and rear, at the time of this auction, all seam to work very well. Has all new working Dolphin gauges. Radial tires good tread ride nice. All the chrome looks new door handles grill, rear deck lid chrome etc. I have driven it around my neighborhood. I am a Fl. State accident investigator, so don't expect to buy the car from me, then want to drive it home with improper tag, and no insurance. That wont fly with me guys, as I don't want to get sued. The car needs some spot repairs done, mostly under the trunk area between the rear bumper has a dent. The rockers have paint scale under the side molding as so do the lower drivers doors. Very small areas. The drivers door glass is cracked, common on the old flat glass cars, not to fear I have the window on order, and will try to get it installed before the car ships out. THIS CAR RAN HIGH 10's TWO YEARS AGO WITH A 318 in it...( YOUTUBE: 10 second 318 at byron) ( OLD MOTOR BEING PULLED IN PICTURE) NOW IT's a real non stroked 340 that makes about 450 HP it runs high 11's in the 1/4 mile on motor. It will run deep in the 10's with a little spray. 3.23:1 sure grip 489 case with DOCTOR DIFF race axles and a 1350 forged pinion yoke 1350 BILLET forged front pinion with an aluminum drive shaft. It has wilwood disk brakes all the way around. Brand new M&H street Drag Radials, Car lights them up from a 30 mph roll with out the nitrous WITH TIMING SET AT 34 DEGREES. Just the motor and trans converter and headers cost over 13 grand. Aluminum radiator, brand new water pump, car has power steering and power brakes. IT COULD USE A 7/8" MASTER CYLINDER BECAUSE THE DUAL DIAPHRAGM 1" BORE one I have doesn't have enough line pressure for the wilwoods has new front bearings, and rear, the car has been 140 MPH.( STILL will do 130 in the 1/4 mile and stop fine) I have sprayed it twice for testing with conservative timing on the street with this new motor and they were quick tests to check the wide band and plugs. All cylinders test perfect and equal on compression!! DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THIS MOTOR BEING BEAT ON, I HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH NITROUS FOR 20 YEARS...IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOU WILL NOT HURT ANYTHING. IT IS SET UP FOR A 150 SHOT. You can drive the car in the winter and paint it and have a beautiful show quality car in the summer!* There are two rusts spots that have been included in the pictures that are a quarter in size Car is originally a column shift car but has floor shift currently (as seen in the pictures). The car will come with a OE column shift steering assembly and also another rear bumper
