Relisting my cooper for the last time. Buy it now is set for what I need to finish my next project, selling for less what I put into it so if you want to know my reserve its pretty much the same. Use the number below if you have any questions! Up for sale is my 1974 1275GT Leyland Mini Cooper Clubman, right hand drive that has undergone a very recent restomod. Engine: The car pulls beautifully up to highway speed with its mkIII 1275cc A+ engine mated to the newer style (rod shift) 4 speed manual transmission. The motor had the head gasket replaced about 10k miles ago with the addition of an LCB maniflow header. Previously, the header was mated to a maniflow exhaust but is currently connected to the straight pipe you see in the photos. Recently the valves have been set and the single HSU 1-1/2 carburettor has been fully rebuilt. Needle and jet have been matched to the car and the old waxstat type linkage has been replaced with a newer style, the one currently on the carb isnt in the best shape so I ordered a new one form the UK. Fuel lines and fuel tank were pulled to be cleaned, original hard line was in bad shape so I replaced that as well as the connecting rubber lines. Fuel filter is new and the fuel tank has been cleaned and sealed inside and I repainted the outside as well. The car stays cool sitting in 90deg MS weather or moving at 70mph on the freeway in help with the added 10inch oil cooler and secondary aux radiator. Both oil cooler and radiator are situated as front mount units. The oil cooler is a quality earls unit with a mocal thermostat so the oil temps run where they are supposed too. The front mount radiator is fashioned from a quality heater core and is controlled through the cab by the heater control. The heater still functions and the lines can be shut off and on via the engine bay. Transmission shifts smooth with no grinding, clutch was replaced at time of head gasket. Had gone through a recent fluid change. I up and down shift through the ranges and it never pops out of gear. Here is a list of other new items on the vehicle: Camouflage paint job; gunmetal, slate grey, off white Full Safety Devices FIA spec roll cage with harness barCorbeau Forza seatsCorbeau mini clubman seat bracketsCorbeau 3pt double release harness beltsFull set ACW makrolon polycarbonate window kit with locking window sliders driver/passACW window install kit nut and boltISR v2 Hydraulic ebrake (not installed)Electronic 45d distributorNew coil, spark plugs, spark plug wiresJWspeaker type front headlightsAlternator isolator electronic kill switch with keyUniversal steering hub This was a no expense spared purpose built vehicle. All areas with surface rust were treated properly, brought down to metal, sanded for adhesion, metal prep, seal, then primer and paint. There were some really bad spots on the door bottoms that needed cutting out and welding. All the old seam sealer on the roof was taken out and new 3m sealer applied. All items that needed replaced were done so with upgraded units. All safety items were taken care of. All wiring was gone through, many of the wiring to the alternator/starter/etc were found to be brittle and replaced. Gauges were sent out and cleaned and re-calibrated. Red top optima is 1 year old. I built this vehicle intending to track it but so far have only taken it to work a few times (yes its road legal with the right hand drive). I recently picked up another project and decided I cant keep both and need to sell this to fund my new toy. If you have any questions feel free to call at 619 200 zero six three seven. I can also take any other pictures you would like. No trades, just need the money for the new build. Any questions on the price, price out what these vehicles are going for compared to regular classic minis and price out the new parts. Vehicle is being sold as is WITHOUT warranty. Full payment is due at end of auction. Method of payment accepted: cash, PayPal (buyer pays fees), wire transfer (I bank through Wells Fargo) Vehicle transport is the responsibility of the buyer. I can help with companies as I ship a lot of vehicles. I have all the stock seats, Windows, parts, etc. but it will NOT fit in the car and most companies don't have room to stow extra gear so it's up to you if you want the old stuff, however all stock seats are newly reupholstered. Thanks for looking! If you're interested in the reserve feel free to bid and you will eventually find out. Every time I list an item people don't bid and instead overload my inbox with reserve questions....bid away!

This 1983 mini was imported from england about 8 years ago. It has all the trimmings of a 1993 mini, 1275 motor and from the looks of it, it has a metro head (better compression) the person i purchased it off of, spent a great deal of money getting it here, at when it arrived he didn't fit, he's well over 6 ft 3 inches and weighs over 350 lbs. The thought was nice but the functionality didn't work out quite so well. He parked it in a garage and it sat for about 2 years. I convinced him to not let it go to waste as i love minis and this was my second one. I've had this thing for a little over a year (title says issued to me in june 2014, but that was when i registered it) I brought this thing back to life. It ran fine before i got to it, but i've changed mounts, oils , started overhauling the electrical as who ever had this before him really chopped it up. That is why the dash is not in place. The gas gauge wasn't working so i took it apart and started putting things back together. I fixed gauge. The manifold clamp came off, so i welded the manifold and down pipe and cut the down pipe by the bracket that holds the muffler under the car, as it was easier to reach there than behind motor. I haven't gotten around to having it welded but that can be done quickly and cheaply. then the exhaust system will be fine (not show room but no rust or holes through out) the interior is in good shape no tears and headlining is great. the body of this car leaves somethings to be desired. and by that i mean paint. there are a few small bubbly spots but no rust. the 2 bad spots are drivers side floor pan and a little bit in the trunk. I don't have rear bumper on it as it was nicked and was planning on changing. The car starts right up and is in a garage out of the elements. it's insured so all rides are welcomed. I will negotiate with this as much as i can. But i will by no means give this away. it is maybe a spruce up away (ok and a paint job) from being bad ass. And with my starting price alone that leaves plenty of room for investing 2 grand maybe if that and having a really nice mini. In NYC you will not find another mini for my price and condition. I scour the internet and cragislit and everything else. I love these cars and when one pops up in my area i'm on it. I HATE TO SELL THIS, but a i have to. I will rearange what i have to in order to keep this car if i must so again i'd love to make a deal but I just couldn't justify giving this thing away. any questions feel free ask, shoot me your number or email and we can talk more. I'm in jamaica queens, and am willing to help in how ever i can. I take great pictures so they are better than the car, but they are an accurate description of vehicle

1972 Austin Mini Cooper 1275 "S"A wonderful example of a Classic Mini AND WHAT A CAR!!!!!!!! Okay, pieced together from a variety of components but ALL properly and professionally done......READ this list....Excellent Mk III body, roll up windows, modern controls, face level air vents, replaced floors and rockers, new subframes (the most important parts, structurally), very nice recent paint, dark gray with white rally stripes and roof, excellent interior, new carpets, correct "S" dash and 130 mph speedo, column mounted tachometer, reclining Corbeau rally seats, smaller steering wheel....all done nicely.Engine: A+(the best) block, forged flat top pistons, balanced, high lift camshaft, 940 Cooper "S" 11 stud head, single HIF6 1 3/4" SU (for easy tuning), tubular headers, recently installed rod change 4 speed transmission, 2.9 final drive. 75 psi oil pressure when warm, 210-220 psi compression, no smoke, VERY strong performance. The rest..... new 10" Minilite type alloy wheels with new 165/70 Dunlop high speed radials, rebuilt suspension with new bushings, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, ball joints, 1.5 degree negative camber arms, adjustable caster angle, adjustable ride height rubber cones, front disc brakes, new dual master cylinder, new aluminum radiator, stereo/CD, full set of belts, driving lights built into the grille, long range fuel tank, the list goes on and on and on.A wonderful Cooper "S" with a lot of high performance equipment, high geared with the 2.9 diff, powerful, awesome handling, and distinctive style (go see the 'Italian Job' from 1969 with Michael Caine, Noel Coward, and Benny Hill)What is best is that this car is fun at speeds approaching legality....the problem is, in a constrained 55-65 mph society, speeds substantially in excess of the legal speed limit are primarily cause for suspension of license and increase in car insurance. Hence, what's better than a car that is FUN to drive AND gives the impression of greater speeds? In fact, with its 2.9 gearing, this Mini Cooper will cruise nicely at 80+ mph and hit higher speeds. But how much more is ideal for...FUN????? Truth is, with modern cars, greater speed potential is mostly academic.A neat little car. Please note, I just had a new speedometer installed, the previous one had a mileage reading somewhere around 46,500 miles. I've done my best to describe the vehicle as candidly as possible. However, being a 40 year old car, I offer no warranty or guarantee. A 20% deposit is due within 48 hours of purchase with the full payment within two weeks. I can assist with shipping anywhere in the world. This is a good chance to own a fun and sporty classic Mini!
