I am the second owner. The first was a Bay Area physician. This is a well-treated van with clean interior, original paint (a couple dings) and engine that runs great. No leaks. Mileage is 24 per gallon highway, 18 city. Tranny shifts smooth. Carpeting very clean. Original leather front seats were in poor shape, so I changed them out for a very nice pair of fabric seats from another Villager. Leather seats remain in the rear. In all candor, she feels like a vehicle maybe 7 years old. Drives more quietly and smoothly than my two 1999 Villagers. One of them has higher miles, the other lower. Sails through California smog certification. If unfamiliar with the Villager (a Nissan Quest clone, though superior because of the digital dash added by Ford), these babies drive like small cars, tight maneuvering and a turn radius that kicks the snot out of my Dodge Caravan. Unlike ALL other minivans, the rear window opens. Unlike all other 1990s minivans except the Caravan through 1995, the side windows crack open and do so manually (no power required). That means if parked during the summer and not driving, one can open those windows by hand during the day. PS: I always try parking in the shade and nearly always manage to find some despite needing to then walk further to the store or wherever. The Mercury Villager is a largely hidden jewel in the world of minivans. Far superior to the Toyota Sienna of those years. It beat the Dodge Caravan because of offering a sunroof and opening rear window. Ford vans of that time were not worth comparing. Nissan had the Quest, though with no digital dash and included computer information center (outside temp, mpg, miles till empty, etc). Some people like myself will drive hundreds of miles to find a luxury edition model that has been treated right. So I figured on trying an eBay listing to let those reasonably nearby know that one is on the market.

Original non smoking owner of vehicle. Low mileage, only 102,244 miles. Complete maintenance records are available. Two tone paint, Jewel Green and Champagne Gold. Privacy tinted glass on rear windows. Rear controls for fan and radio. New battery, manufactured 9/2014. Timing belt and all other engine belts and hoses have been replaced. Just passed smog check. Two new tires with only 5,000 miles on them. Very clean and new looking interior. No visible dents or rust on body of vehicle. Cracked rear driver side tail light. Paint on roof starting to fade.
