1969 Mercedes 280 SE original convertible.Purchased in Texas 5 years ago with the intent to restore it.It is a solid running car. Rebuilt engine with original parts imported from MB Classic Germany. There are 3 spots that need to be fixed during restoration to make it perfect. 1-Spare part section has two layer of sheet metal.The inner metal surface rusted. 2-Front Passenger floor has 2" patched. But All of the floors are original no rust. 3-The corner of wood veneer has 1"-2" crack needs to be glued. I can send more pictures of underneath(original black textured tar , no rust underneath). I can send detail picture of the surface rust and floor repaired area. The car sits in the garage 3 years after the engine was rebuilt It is a good candidate car to restore. Original mileage unknown, engine rebuilt with a few miles on it. Car is sold as is. Payment is to be made by cashier check. Deposit due via paypal within 48 hours. We bought it as a Mercedes Benz Certified Pre Owned in 2011 with 19,600 miles and have since put on just 10,000 miles over the last three years.
